【Vegan】Radish Balls Stew

  • Ingredients:
    Radish Balls:
    Radish 650g
    3 Tbsp flour
    1Tbsp Corn starch
    King oyster mushroom 180g
    Radish balls seasoning:
    1/4 tsp White pepper powder
    1/4 Tsp Five spice powder
    1/4 Tsp Sea salt
    Soup base:
    3 Slices of ginger
    Vegan oyster sauce 1tsp
    Kombu 7cm*7cm
    Sesame oil ½ tsp
    Inner leaves of cabbage 150g
    Coriander to taste
    Tips:
    1.Don't put too much flour in the radish balls. It is necessary to add some starch to the radish balls so that the balls won't be easy to dissolve during cooking. Cut the radish thinly so that more water can be squeezed out and less flour can be added.
    2.King oyster mushroom retains the fiber after shredded. It is chewy and can improve the overall taste of the radish ball. You can also use shredded shiitake mushrooms instead.
    3.After being fried, you can eat it directly, or put in freezer, and it is convenient to pair with noodles soup or hot pot.
    4.The inner leaves of cabbage are sweet. It can make a tasty soup base along with the kombu. Make sure do not cook the radish ball for too long. It can be steamed in a steamer and the shape will be more complete.
