I was just going to comment something close to that. Derek is a great father and dad and watching Bradley open up a little more as he gets older is very cool. I'm hoping he will immerse himself into this channel, or maybe branching off onto his own channel

I was thinking the same thing it's great to see Bradley getting involved and if he is anything like Derick he will be all good mechanic too bad Derick is partial to mainly working on GM I would love to see more of a variety of different vehicle brand's when I was a kid I was told that anyone can make a Chevrolet and they are just so boring because everyone does chevy build's and like Derick said LS swaps have been done so much that it's like trying to ride a dead horse in a rodeo and I ain't lying

Wait until he gets into his teens. Don't care how good a father is, sons always turn on their fathers in their teen years. They just think they know better. But maybe not in this case Derek talks to his son like he's just another man. Never talks down to him. But like I said the teen years are very challenging, both for boys and girls. I know I have three sons, and two daughters.

Yeah, build on some of them you already have. Sometimes, people are just gonna whine at you. Personally, I like the recoveries, and the builds. Builds are what happens after the recovery a lot of times. In any case, I think a good bunch of us enjoy every bit of the stuff you put on your channels.

So true. The revival and the trip back home are but chapter one in the rebirth of these old rigs. You have to have all the following chapters too!

Yeah without doing builds after the recoveries, it's not even a recovery. It's just being moved to another yard.

It's really great seeing you giving all your boys time with you on different builds!! Reminds me so much of growing up and my father doing the same stuff with me. And I can tell you without a doubt I learned a WEALTH of knowledge doing these things with my pops. And he is now and has always been my hero for all he's capable of and has taught me. Your boys will undoubtedly feel the same!! Keep up the great content!

Totally agree on you with on limiting revivals to keep the number of cars down. The fact that you have done the hard part (for most people) opens the door for those who want to get their hands on a classic car or truck when you eventually sell some down the line, for that I am grateful.
Keep up the great work Derek!

Derek, thanks to your inspiration (and my affinity for 300 Fords) my first attempt at a revival is tomorrow! An 85 F150 is going up for auction, and a guy plans to buy the old sweetheart (she hasnt run in 7 years) and drive her on home, the 50 miles of it. Thanks for your awesome work all these years!
Edit: Got her bought, spent a half hour with her, changing on the tires and getting her running, and drove her home! She dont run so good, and she needs a clutch and some brake work, but mission successful!

Bradley is the MAN!!! He did better than me when I was his age. The VGG innovation never disappoints! If I'm right in what saw on the high speed, there was a rattlecan taped to a Sawzall. I'm floored by the ideas.

This brings me back to when I was young and my Dad and I would swap engines. I our case, it was a matter of yanking out a really tired engine and putting in a less tired used engine. Back in, I believe it was the late 60's, Full sized Chevy's came with the 250 CID straight six. That little engine surprised me. My aunt's car had a three speed manual trans and the little engine would light up the tires without hardly trying. You actually had to be careful taking off. They were rather torquey engines. Interesting project. Definitely want to see how it comes out.
