Fantastic - Booked on NCL Epic next year around the Med. Really useful video, many thanks
I love this cruise ship! One of my favorites! Have fun! Thank you for watching!
We are doing the epic 4/24/22 this is helpful
How was the cruise?
Thx. I will be there on nov. 2023. Hope nothing change until then . Thx again.
Hello. Did you use the train when you took your cruise? Was the track the one she demonstrated in the video? Thank you
Hi happy to see your videos, I have a question about when you but the tickets I saw Civitavecchia and Civitavecchia(Tutte Le Stazioni),is it different stations or same? Did we stop at Roma Trastevere and change other trains
Hi. Why are there more than one Civitavecchia on the panel to choose. Why did you chose the one you did. And it wasn’t clear which train is the better one with only 45 min. I tried to listen to it several times but I couldn’t understand it. You were either speaking too fast and your accent , I couldn’t understand. Please help. Thx.
Hi! The name of the fastest train (45'-47') is Frecciabianca. It is the most comfortable but also the most expensive - the "good" tickets are bought some time in advance, online; often these "good" tickets are sold out. The other trains are "Regionale" (very frequent but it is the slowest and cheapest; it stops at all stations) and "Intercity" (not so frequent, it takes about 48 minutes and the quality is between the two above).
The chosen train is related to several factors (such as price or comfort). But the most important factor is time. I know that when I arrive at the station I find at least one available train.
All these are available on the official website of the Italian Railway Company. It is available in English. Link:
www.trenitalia.com/en.html
Don't worry, everything is very easy. Remember to stamp the ticket on the platform (if it is bought at the station). If it is bought online, stamping is not necessary.
Have a great time and a safe trip!
@@CruiseTravelVideos thank you so much. Totally appreciate it
Which platform is for the cruise port? I couldn't understand? 24-29?
This is very helpful! I have a question and hopefully you can provide some advice. If arriving at FCO International Airport at 9:35am and I take the train, then the bus to Civitavecchia to the cruise port and the ship departs at 1:30pm. Do you think that will allow enough time to arrive before the ships departure?
For other readers only: the answer to this is in the second part of the clip, link here - ua-cam.com/video/aeZw23TIIjU/v-deo.html "2019 (best new route) Civitavecchia guide Train station to cruise terminals"
Thats risky if your flight is delayed cancelled etc
Do you know if this is still the way post Covid?
Hello. Is the Civitavecchia train still usually leaving from this far away platform in 2024? Thank you!
Hello! I don't have a clear confirmation for 2024, but in previous years (2023, 2022, '19, '18 etc) the train platform for Civitavecchia remained the same. However, maybe we will get an answer from someone who traveled this year. Thank you very much for watching! (besides this clip from 2019, I posted another updated one with more details, please check that one too)
@@CruiseTravelVideos I purchased an intercity train ticket so I will NOT be taking this long walk, correct?
Hi, Don't forget to validate your ticket at the machines on the platform.
We got a good size fine from the inspector the first time on an Italian train!!
I'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience traveling by train in Italy. I can confirm, ticket inspectors in Italy can be very thorough checking every detail. Especially with tourists. I've noticed this quite often.
The video shows a stamping machine at 4:16
Thank you for watching and for comment! If you like our channel, feel free to subscribe.
Do we still need to validate if we purchased online?
@@zeynep82 No need to validate also much better/easier sometime cheaper to buy ticket online/can you reserves your seat.
If I want to take the cheaper train (4.60), where do I go?
In the same place. Choose the train from the "Regional" category, 2nd class. Bon voyage!
From train station to cruise port ?
Hi! Next video. Link in description. Thank you for watching!
I’m still confused 🤦🏻♀️
I'm sorry for this. I can try to help you. If you have questions about what is not clear. I have experienced this route many times, so I might have some useful information. Just ask.
Thank you for watching!
