Tiber septim had a dragon so they exist during ESO. Daggerfall also had dragons. Why ESO doesn't have them is a mystery, that or like how cyrodiil use to be a jungle until it never was, they are ignoring the previous cannon to make it easier.
While ESO might not be a TES game that holds up against the other (its above average) adventuring tamriel and seeing lore that happens in the books happen in game is pretty neat (Mannimarco for example) also its a very good MMO. Dungeons are fun and the quests stay fresh rather than repetitive.
radifan anandya there are people who will argue about that. But those are just dumb and they don't listen to those quests and just read objectives. in that way it might seem repetitive but hell Elder Scrolls is all about the story
what i dont like is how they think its a half assed game when Zenimax is actually competent with working on Tamriel Unlimited. Its kinda like FF XIV, you have a bad first release and it sticks with you forever
radifan anandya i think eso holds up amazingly both lorewise and contemt wise. almosy every video i see on the imporovements people want to see for tes six, are boasting the features present in eso. people just refuse to be realistic.
My first playthrough of Skyrim, which was my first ever Elder Scrolls game, and first ever game Skyrim, and I finished it in like 7 hours. I don't understand how it can take 30 hours, unless the person is carrying too much weight and walking the entire time.
You forgot to mention that in Skyrim, Sheogorath, Daedric Prince of Madness says: "I'm doing the fish sticks! It's a very delicate sate of mind" yet another reference to the Fishy Sticks.
And I'm not sure if you mentioned it but I don't remember hearing it, ESO no longer requires a Subscription, it used to be but now you only need a once off payment, I'd say that's a pretty important fact.
It's recommended to sub to the game still, because otherwise you "need" to buy all the DLC. I'd say that the game is still a very subscription based game, but can be played without it. As with most games.
I just felt it's worth mentioning :) also it's what I did (Bought the DLC that I want), in the long run it's cheaper to buy the DLCs you want. The only real reason to Subscribe is for the extra materials inventory, everyone needs that with all the mats in game XD
In the longrun it's cheaper to sub, because you get coins weekly or monthly that you can then buy the desired DLCS with when your sub runs out. It shouldn't take long before you can buy all the dlcs out there. I've heard that the extra crafting space is kinda needed though, so that sucks. All of this said, I personally like sub games. I don't mind them at all. Sure, I don't think ESO is the best game out there and the devs certainly suck, but I still think its model is good/fine.
And in case anybody missed it, the very first Elder Scrolls game, Elder Scrolls Arena, actually features an official cover art where the female character who's in the middle of the image, is wearing what we now commonly refer to as a "Slooty" armor. That's it folks. Slooty armors are canon! XD
One of the only MMORPGs out there. Most "MMORPGs" I see are just "MMOs" with absolutely minimal RPG elements taped on. Getting gear and having you gain xp to lvl up your character through killing mobs and doing quests aren't enough for a game to call itself an "RPG", imo. Gotta have some form of immersion and interactability with the NPCs.. otherwise it might as well be a fancy dungeon crawler.
I don't think ESO was as bad at launch as much as players were bad at ESO... Were there the same glitches that hound a new online game when it goes LIVE from a Public Test Server?? Sure... But this was compounded by the fact that ESO completely flipped the script on the MMO genre... The requirement of players to manage resources does not fit well into the stale, dated, button-mashing playstyle of WOW players, a.k.a. reviewers... The major "fix" that was implemented was that reviewers finally learned what in the actual heck they were doing and didn't review ESO according to WoW criteria....
Man i love ESO, its not perfect BUT its the best i have played. I've tried to play other MMOs while also playing ESO and in my opinion none can compare to ESO. I get that its my opinion and some may agree or disagree, but i love ESO. I have met awesome people in the game, cant imagine me not playing.
It's very different from the most mmo's out there, the quest is literary pointing you towards the main goal and lore rather than force you to(for instance) kill 100 chicken. I must say it's the best mmo :)
#30: Correction. All but Elsweyr and the Summerset Isles. That's still a no-go. And we haven't seen much of Black Marsh either. Then again... that's kinda expected considering how deadly the place is to Non-Argonians.
That glitch (22:42) you speak of is still present, at least on PS4. You perform it by executing the emote with whichever control you dedicated for walking (any direction is fine) and holding that down. So, for instance, I hold up on the d-pad to open the pop-up menu of quick-slotted emotes and hold the joystick forward for walking forward and select the emote "situps," then I keep holding my joystick forward. Now I'm jogging forward normally with my legs, but the upper half of my torso is bending backwards at a 90 degree angle and coming back up in intervals. Still, the player performing this can't see, but it's always funny to do when you're around newer players or even veterans who haven't seen it before. lmao, TL;DR tho
Just got into ESO, and I am really enjoying it so far. I am currently a level 27 Nightblade. If you ignore the almost forced race requirements for certain builds (I say almost forced, because you are massively gimping yourself if you choose a race that does not have synergy with your preferred combat method), there is a ton of creativity you can put in towards different builds.
Tailin Sero Close... OK not really... Bethesda *sold* the ES naming rights to Zenimax Online Studios. ZOS is the developer... Bethesda got "publishing" rights in name only...
I didn't even want to play this game when it first came out, and all of the problems they had just solidified my decision. Now...I can't stop playing it. I started just a few weeks ago and have already logged over 100 hours. It's great fun.
I HATED this game when it came out in 2014. Just DESPISED it. I was SO DISAPPOINTED. Then about a month ago - I was telling a friend how bad it was - installed it to show him and discovered it's now the best game I've ever played.
An addition to the Justice System part, if the guards kill you and you don't have enough money to pay off your bounty, your bounty will carry over to your respawned character. So...Keep a bit of gold on you, just in case.
this is why i love the leader-board thank you for another fantastic video, now i want to play elder scrolls online gold edition more, since i spend way to much time in skyrim and fallout 4 ;)

Goooood god I wish that skyshard finder was on the PS4. Looking at online maps on your phone while playing trying to find skyshards is insanity at best.
so I was literally thinking about what I can do in Elder Scrolls online because well frankly my friends that played don't play it anymore so I'm by myself. so I was like I'll open up UA-cam and look for things to do if your bored on Elder Scrolls Online. Holiday events do match up to many of the events (some game time slightly off with real time) with Daggerfall and Oblivion. Holidays are not generally world wide in ES but tied to cultures just like Real Life but to do Holiday events in ESO they "World Wide" them.
Just thought you might want to look into Elder Scrolls Travels, which contains some often overlooked lore. Great content, but you didn't mention them as part of the series.
Goooood god I wish that skyshard finder was on the PS4. Looking at online maps on your phone while playing trying to find skyshards is insanity at best.
ESO is a genuinely fun game, solo or not. I'm going for the Tameriel Hero achievement so I play mainly solo but damn it's a fun game.
21:20 that math is wrong.
so I was literally thinking about what I can do in Elder Scrolls online because well frankly my friends that played don't play it anymore so I'm by myself. so I was like I'll open up UA-cam and look for things to do if your bored on Elder Scrolls Online. Opened up the app on my phone first thing I see in my home page at the very top is this video I didn't say it out loud I said it in my head! so it's a wee bit creepy but I'll still watch the video :-)
Well, there's Dragons now!!
Impressive video. I've never played and currently still on a 360, but that may change.
Ep for life! Anyone else bugged out that when he was talking about undaunted one of the characters was wearing malubeth? No one uses that in pve lol
"there are no dragons in the Elder Scrolls Online"
