I respect that, same energy behind why I have all these crazy titles that took months, but I use Volunteer about 80% of the time. Sometimes simple is the vibe
Personally, I think that if you have the Summerset DLC, Alinor is the best for craft writs. The writ boards are in the crafting hall and all the stations you need are within a few meters. You then go outside the hall, turn left and the complete boxes are at the end of the terrace. On Pc with the Lazy Writ Crafter addon it takes less than 2 minutes. Great and informative vid as always 👍
I like Rimmen in Elsweyr chapter. I think it's laid out better than Alinor. Sugar Bowl is also a free inn home that goes right outside into town when you warp there
I prefer crafting in Wrothgar normally, mainly because my main is an Orc, haha. In terms of efficiency though, hard to go wrong with Leyawin. Crafting boards and all tables right beside them, merchants on hand, turn in right around the corner, right beside the Wayshrine, bank right beside this area as well. Edit: Wrothgar is easy to port to with the cart from Glenumbra’s inn for the crafting build / armory station. And the port takes you right next to the Stablemaster. Leyawin also has an inn right in town for the same reason, those armory stations are a real skill point saver.
Great video, and it actually points out a major issue with ESO. For long time players all these activities are ‘fine’. We tolerate them as ‘ok, something more to do’. But for new players, all this crap is massively overwhelming when you sit there in a town and have quest arrows, blue arrows, story zone arrows, some resource sinks like writs, 6-10 UI areas to go for more confusing things to track, a quest log overflowing already….it’s basically system that has been piled on to over the years and it can get confusing as hell. Really needs to be trimmed down.
Agreed. Also far too time consuming and leaves very little time to actually play the game. Someone should add up all the time taken to complete the dailies on just one character. It very quickly adds up.
Once again, your guide offers the basic essentials in a straightforward & friendly manner. INDISPENSABLE sage knowledge! I will definitely recommend it to new and returning players that I regulary meet in game and my guilds! 😎
Stamina on a horse also lets you speed up riding longer. You can only "sprint" on your horse for a brief time at the start. You used to be able to skip the steps in the Cyrodiil introduction and get the same AP boost. That was not the same for me when I looked recently. Also note you can repair walls (trading gold for AP) to advance. No risk of getting killed unless the castle gets invaded so it is very safe. (Switch to an IC campaign if you want to beam out of a castle being attacked.)
Always the best content Deltia! Your guides and videos have saved me dozens if not hundreds of hours in my playthrough and have made the game so much fun. I am an older gamer and this was the first video game I really got into. I am now cp1275 and it is very much because of your videos. Thanks for bringing us so much joy and fun with our games!!
Thank you for a really great, helpful intro guide to ESO (or ESO+). I'm a returning player after having been away for about a year, but I feel as if I'm a new player because so much has changed, and I have forgotten a lot of things as well. I'll no doubt be returning to watch this video again. Thanks again for a very well done beginner's guide! 👍
Deadass though I came from console to PC and now i’m just dreading the grind…lost all my mounts, Charcters, gold…literally everything for this grindy ass game but here I am still playing it.. to CP 220 now. I was way higher on console.
Southern Elsweyr has a Dragonguard quest line that allows you to pick up a chest of goodies once per day per account. You can get rare crafting mats from this. Also I prefer Rimmen in Elsweyr for doing crafting writs
I’m a long time casual player. Over the years Iv’e gotten sloppy with doing daily activities and have actually forgotten about some of these tasks I could be doing. Especially on days when you just want to chill and not get into anything too intense. Great video, super helpful!
It's good to see specific info that narrows down to some of the more valuable things in the long list of game activities. I do have one comment on the daily battlegrounds (BG).People shouldn't expect to just pop into battlegrounds and quickly get their and get their big chunk of daily XP. It's all too common to run multiple BG sessions and have your group come in last. Between the wait times and then BG contests, you should expect that it's going to take over an hour of your game time to get your daily XP bonus. Some days, you'll get it faster, so you can consider that a bonus. However, if you aren't a fan of PvP, if may not be how you want to spend your limited time.
i definitely have a daily task checklist but what i love about eso (and im new, only 1 month) is i can ignore that list if i want to for a day and just get lost questing. i get burnt out knocking out checklists every day. eso allows you to escape that in many ways. honestly im pissed i didnt play this years ago. i tried it but couldnt figure shit out (i was always drunk, now 1 year sober) and watched a beginner video. made so much make sense and now im extremely addicted lol
For #2, everyone should please be aware that there is a lot of new players that queue for random dungeon finder whose experience would be ABSOLUTELY ruined by you blitzing through and skipping every mob/boss to get to the end. Don't be a dick. Pay attention to whose in your group.
Saw you in cyrodiil the other day, was working/testing one of my own builds (it wasn't worth the effort tbh) and you was 1v1 some dude and I decided to jump in with some heavy attacks to keep up the pressure and you turned around and nuked me😂😂
I have the worst RNG on the planet, I spent 65 keys on the alleged 50/50 box. I finally got the right shoulder, wrong weight, of course. Now I have several of the unwanted shoulder in every weight.
Hi Dee… once again, amazing video for newbies like myself. Thank you for all your guidance and support. You make playing the game a million times better in many ways, my friend. Keep up the great content. 👊
The alliance point info is not something you hear often and really good advice for people trying to level alliance war skills, especially if you're new to or not very good at pvp
Hey Delt. Question for you, you said you can get Arena Gladiator Proofs from BGs, I thought they only came from daily quests in Cyrodiil, is there something you have to do special to get them from BGs?
One of the coolest mounts alright! =) 1 thing that sticks out the most of something new I will want to do is the random dungeons for the bonus! Thanks for your video btw =)

@@RianMeier I do have the banker, why do you need the merchant for? genuine question. if I'm selling something I do it at any of the NPC associated with any of the crafting stations
I always have three permanently reincarnating sub-45 dungeon healing transmute crystal farmers on the roster. Point being I need the crystals but don't want to roll the dice on whether the dungeon trip will take 3 minutes or 20 (or not be completed at all). So simple quick early dungeons and I can just follow along and heal. Quite often the group doesn't even need a healer. Fast track to lvl 10 with three class skills, pick up a resto staff along the way and learn area heal, radiate heal and group damage buff. One bar with that setup, contributing a bit of spam damage if needed, retire by around lvl 40-45 and go round again. And don't take dungeon quests - the idea is to level as slowly as possible.
I would say that using event tickets to level your companion's guild skill lines is a waste of tickets. Tip for daily random dungeon runs: Make multiple tanks and/or healer toons. Tanks basically always get insta-pops in the random queues. Healers usually don't have a very long wait in the random queues, but DeePS could have anywhere from 5min to 60min wait in the random queues. PSA: Please don't queue as a tank if you don't have taunts and high enough health/armor to properly tank. There are enough fake tanks queuing, please don't add to the fuckery by being a douche and fake tanking just to get a queue pop. That being said; I have three tanks and three healers, so I can earn 60 transmute crystals a day, if needed, with little to no wait time in the queues. If I'm fooling around on a solo build or DeePS build I queue for randoms while I'm doing other stuff so I'm not just sitting and waiting for the queue to pop. If I get a queue pop on these toons, it's just a little bit more transmute crystals to add to the pile.
I have a templar main with allmost all skills unlocked, (i don't need the 12 for research anymore or all the assassin/thief/scrying skills either) and have skill points spare.
One of the HUGE problems with games today is their desire to turn everything into a job. Get on everyday because you have to do the same 10 things EVERY SINGLE DAY. How effing boring is that? I get that there can't be new content all the time - that would be impossible, but High Isle just dropped a short time ago and we are already onto the everyday daily grind? I also get that some of you experience that massive dopamine dump into your system when you see a few numbers in your inventory increase; don't think that the game designers don't know that they can keep you coming back to your addiction with daily quests that feed the brain chemistry. If you're balancing it out with diet, exercise, music, art and language then for sure you're fine, but realistically - who is doing that? Just so we are clear, I play about 30 hours of video games a week and include myself in the addiction category.
Hi, Deltia There was a tournament in our guild, no-cp sets, no slotted stars(unslotable stars only). And mag sorks with almost the same build were a pain in da az. 1 and 4 place, but easily could be 1 and 2 place. How to fight them? I'm a magplar. But there are way to much shields on them. We played LOOONG duels, but suddenly he just shot me with some kind of combo, or it was a lag and I couldn't see all the damage, and for me it came in 1 second, I don't know. Mana pool sorks with sithis. Don't exactly know names of other sets in English, but they all stack magica. I used heartland conquer, innet axiom(from clockwork city), Markin, and I piece of Baron Tirsk for regen. Later I got Sithis too, dueld that 1 place sork, but lost again, but almost killed that sork. It was something like Sithis, axiom(or conquer, don't remember) and 1 piece of living flame on body, war maiden, and a random crafted restoration staff with +4%healing done. May be my non cp build is rubbish? Or may be I was doing something wrong? So, the question is how to play non cp: sets, tactics, rules of build making. May be I'll find answers how to defeat this sorks in video like that?
Didn't know TTC shows you what trader sells the item you want? Thought it only gave you the prices. I've been running around the world trying to find the cheapest ones.
I'm a quester. And I quit for a while. I just got back on and it's super overwhelming, and I haven't even gotten into the super more overwhelming crafting and motifs lol
Yup, just grind the game everyday into the ground until you get burnt out. Sounds like fun! Or you could just play the game the way you want and do whatever you want when you play.
highly recommend doing crafting writs in leyawin in blackwood, the crafting benches and both writ boards are right next to eachother and the turn ins are just down the street, the only downside is if you're leveling mounts too its on the other side of town, great video!

Tip for daily random dungeon runs:
Make multiple tanks and/or healer toons.
Tanks basically always get insta-pops in the random queues. Healers usually don't have a very long wait in the random queues, but DeePS could have anywhere from 5min to 60min wait in the random queues.
PSA:
Please don't queue as a tank if you don't have taunts and high enough health/armor to properly tank.
Thank you

There was a tournament in our guild, no-cp sets, no slotted stars(unslotable stars only).
RNG is not kind to me. 😭
But thank you for the info. I wasn't aware of the companion dailies.
Usefull, as always)

Deltia stamina on a horse allows it to run longer my guy
Didn't know TTC shows you what trader sells the item you want? Thought it only gave you the prices. I've been running around the world trying to find the cheapest ones.
most of the instructions are "we go over here", where? thats why most people get lost because locations arent mentioned
First one?! 💥💥Bang💥💥. Keep up the great work Deltia. Love all the vids and stream.
I'm a quester. And I quit for a while. I just got back on and it's super overwhelming, and I haven't even gotten into the super more overwhelming crafting and motifs lol
Champion points increase the gold gained from writs.
Yup, just grind the game everyday into the ground until you get burnt out. Sounds like fun!
Or you could just play the game the way you want and do whatever you want when you play.
Great video
highly recommend doing crafting writs in leyawin in blackwood, the crafting benches and both writ boards are right next to eachother and the turn ins are just down the street, the only downside is if you're leveling mounts too its on the other side of town, great video!
Vvardenfell has everything close together too, including the stables.
Alinor in Summerset is much the same.
Is this gane even worth staying on cause i keep hearing the new update destroys it
there's no other game like it
