All the things a horror game needs. Res. Evil 4 is a great game too it was a lot harder than some other games that were coming out. It made you feel helpless and when you beat a boss you felt relief & knowing you earned!
I started playing Resident Evil 7, and absolutely love it. It really gives the elements of the first games, playing on the horror aspects and giving a sense of dread, since the main character is an everyday guy. I think the series is getting a great comeback
Missed a really good fun fact: the original game was conceived as a first-person shooter, but complications with making it look and feel right (and likely because it's been said some Japanese people have difficulty with first-person games), they went with the third-person look we all knew for so long. Kind of neat since it means in a way the Gun Survivors, and RE7 are basically following the earliest idea Capcom had envisioned during the franchise's conception.
My opinion of the games: Resident Evil 0: A good refreshment in lore and scares. I can't say much as I didn't really complete the game lol. Resident Evil 1: TERRIFYING. DAMN. It was fun, scary, and extremely challenging. The only thing I hated was the fixed camera angles… Resident Evil 2: It was a successor to RE1. It was incredible, cause I was used to seeing sequels in entertainment industries being total flops. The fact that most of it took place in an open city made it rather intense than scary. But it was darker and at times better. Resident Evil 3: I freaking hated Nemesis (the zombie, not the game lol). He was so terrifying and OP. But incredibly fun like the first two. Also there was a bigger replay value, idk why but that's how I felt. Resident Evil 4: A truly new experience that left me wide open for the first few stages. The fact that it moved on from fixed camera angles made me beyond relieved, but while it was less scary, it was still incredibly fun. Going in guns blazing with the President's daughter behind me was SO. MUCH. FUN. Also Ada. I don't know a RE fan who didn't have a crush on her (except me and a distant friend of mine. Heh) Resident Evil 5: Took a bit of a more worldwide approach compared to the other games. While he scariness went to pretty much 0, the action value went insane. Heck, the boss battles went from total panic mode to rouge Rambo mode. I thought RE couldn't get more MICHAEL BAY. Or so I thought… Resident Evil 6: MOAR MICHAEL BAY LMAO. But still, while the scare value stayed the same as RE5, it was still incredibly fun and found a good amount of replay value, especially at the incredibly hard yet fun and intense boss battles (I hate you Simmons). The game's mechanics also improved beyond previous REs. Like actual running, and more melee options, such a lifesaver… THE EXPLOSIONS AND DESTRUCTIVE TERROR WERE INTENSE. CHINA AND THE US LITERALLY WERE LOSING THEIR CRAP. Resident Evil Revelations 1&2: Can't say much about RER2 cuz I didn't finish it like RE0, but RER1 really felt like I was playing RE4: Chris Redfield mode for much of the game. While it did have a few step-downs compared to RE6, the game was still very enjoyable and its scare value even went up a little. Yay :) Resident Evil7: SCREW YOU LUCAS. This game was a huge upgrade from the most recent REs in many ways. I found this very enjoyable as it had lots of action (especially towards the end), yet had a fair share of puzzles, eastereggs, and scares. Unlike the recent REs and more like the early REs, I found myself not being able to quit playing; I was attached. There was the feeling of adrenaline coursing through my veins as I would walk through a dark area with BARELY ANY GODDAMN AMMO, just like the early REs. This game was also smart on how it would slowly transition from classic RE to Rouge modern RE, with me at one point scared as hell walking in the house basement areas, to me going in guns blazing at the Bakers. While it was a bit more of a closed-environment approach unlike RE5&6 and more like RE1, it still was just as intense. However, the lack of zombies made it feel like i was in a totally new RE universe. I dunno whether it was good or bad tho. Yes, I know I missed some games like Code: Veronica and Operation: Raccoon City, but that's cause they're some of the few games of the series I didn't play.
Save yourself the money, don't buy that crap game operation raccoon city, it sucks and is just a generic third person cover-shooter with resident evil elements
I honestly couldn't enjoy RE1, it was a good game, but I just felt it had little story at all. The crimson heads, Lisa, and that part where you carry the nitro were actually scary and stressful, but that's mostly it for me. RE2 will always have a special place in my heart (my first RE ever), so I won't review it, because I know I'll be biased. RE3 to me felt like RE2 but with a stalking OP monster, which just made the entire game feel a lot more unsafe, that's what good horror is. Feeling unsafe. Code Veronica was an enjoyable game for me (2 runs), the story was wacky, but I loved how certain choices and gameplay styles with claire would greatly affect your gameplay with chris (such as being poisoned or not during claire's last fight in Antarctica) Outbreak is one of my personal favorites. I didn't like the fact that it had no story, but short campaigns, but I like how those short campaigns explain a lot of what happens in main games, like the blown-up street at the beginning of RE3, its soundtrack was the best, and the multiple endings (yes, each of 8 characters have their own good and bad ending, also the four dual bad endings which were way better than the solo bad ending or even their good endings) RE0 is another good game in my opinion, the character switching mechanism was an interesting way to play, and I feel it had more story (compared to 1). RE4 is another personal favorite, not only the new mechanic, but the fact that you rely more on skills was also quite stressful, the enemies presented (dr. salvadore, or the regenerators) did make for a good horror experienced mixed with action. RE5 has a special place in my heart because it's the first game my brother and I could play at the same time. No more horror, but a good action game nonetheless. Revelations 1 was a good refreshment for me, the slower shooting rate and limited ammo and tight spaces made the game a bit more scary for me. RE6 got me hyped, I played the crap out of it multiple times with my brother, but when I did my resident evil marathon (which I just finished a week ago), I didn't enjoy it at all. I felt I was forcing myself only so I could move on to revelations 2 and 7. Maybe it's because I played it alone (where the first times I played it with my brother). So I think unless you're playing it with a friend, it's not as enjoyable. Revelations 2 is another one of my favorites. Again, limited ammo, character switching (like in RE0), stressful environments and enemies, reduced movement (no more sprinting and sliding and rolling on the ground or quick-shooting enemies) made up for a more horror environment. I also love the references from the movie (you can hear it in the radio, but you must know russian to understand it). And finally, 7; I LOVE it! I played it once, I don't know how I'll feel about it later, I'm waiting on the last DLC. At first, I didn't know what to expect, after playing 1,0,4,5, R1, 6, R2 and 7, it did NOT feel like a resident evil game at all at first. That is until I started getting weapons, going into safe rooms, where I could store my items in a box like I used to in the original games, and exploring a closed environment (felt like RE1 too! instead of a mansion and a garden, it's just a house and a backyard). I like how the enemies are not as intimidating if you look at it from the perspective of chris or leon, but they are on the eyes of Ethan, a simple man. Unlike others say, RE7 does NOT take itself seriously, there's a chainsaw fight, where Jack says "Groovy" (evil dead) and Ethan simply answers "That's not groovy!" People complain about how chris looks like, but then again, RE5 chris did change a lot compared to CV or RE1 chris. The story does feel a bit more paranormal though, specially during the boat part. I don't like how the flashlight activates automatically instead of giving you control over it. Some areas were just too dark and the flashlight wouldn't turn on at all, forcing you to wander in darkness. I bet if the game had fixed cameras instead of being a first person shooter, the game would have the same feel as original resident evil titles... Also, two easter eggs I loved, seeing Clive o'Brian's book and a report on missing people written by Alyssa Ashcroft... not only the reference to two characters that are not part of the main games (Clive o'brian from revelations 1, and alyssa ashcroft from outbreak), but the fact that it seems that they are canon to the games.
Nothing can ever top the original three (RE1 and/or directors cut, RE 2, and RE 3) That trilogy as awesome, each one played off a story of the other pretty well and had their own stories and twists
@@koinpusher Yup. RE3 Nemesis was more of an Add-On pack to RE2, or Jill's Scenario but became the official sequel. Thought it was neat how it takes place before, during and after RE2. Everything before the clock tower is before RE2, when u r playing as Carlos RE2 events are happening, and when Jill is cured Leon and Claire have done escaped the city and is after RE2
Tbh if you co-op RE5 you don't even need to get to boulder punching! Whoever's playing Chris just needs to go for the diamond and whoever's playing as sheva just needs to wait at the point ya got separated at and magnum shot to weskers weak point on his back and it's basically game over... Tbh this should have been 1 of the facts...
Yes!! a lot of people don't like those games but I really enjoyed them, though they were fun to play as someone who had already played the previous games
I was a huge fan of Resident Evil: Dead Aim, which was playable with a light-gun, just like Duck Hunt. The only downside to it is that it's unplayable on new TVs, due to the way a light-gun reads the screen.
2:52 my new headcanon is that Mikami's original Biohazard script was in fact titled 'You were almost a Jill Sandwich, an Interactive Horror Experience by Shinji Mikami'
I had a friend who had one and I thought it was a great system too! Planned to get one later that year...the same year Sega announced they were discontinuing it... :/
I have a Dreamcast just bought it not too long ago. I have resident evil 2 and 3 on it. I must say though controller is uncomfortable as hell :( it was a poorly underrated system.
I've bought Resident Evil 4 a total of 8x. 2 for the GameCube, 2 for the PS2, 1 for the Wii, 1 for the Xbox 360, 1 for the PS4, and 1 for PC. Had to buy twice for the GameCube and PS2 because of scratched discs.
+High Tier Gamer Look up the definition of a box, and realize that a case IS a box. A box describes a variety of containers for use as storage and often used for transporting contents. Mind = Blown
tvirus8193 the amount of facts for RE4 had to have been reduced. Wouldn't be surprised if they do go back to that since there's just so many development facts that can be covered.
There are a few facts you missed. RE2 for the Dreamcast and PC had harder modes including a Nightmare mode where you get less ammo enemies do more damage but the handgun has a chance for a headshot. Resident Evil 1 had a gameboy game in the works that was a 1 to 1 port of the game for a handheld console. Though got trashed when it was 90% finished. When beta testing RE1 the item boxes did not carry items over you had to go get the items. Thus giving us Real Survivor mode...or whatever it's called been a while since I played the remake. And the biggest fact of all that the Resident Evil 2 remake is being worked on right now.
So basically RE7 may become the new RE4. Being that both brought huge changes to the series and RE4 was and still is loved for it. So I don't really understand why a lot of people are getting angry at RE7 without giving it a chance. Just like back then 3rd person perspective was a huge thing so Capcom took advantage of it and created RE4 and was successful at it... today 1st person perspective is a huge thing and having virtual reality as a booster for the experience, Capcom has taken advantage of it and created RE7... It's basically history repeating itself. And they just might be as successful as back then.
Isa Barron Fans back then also hated the RE4 for changing the gameplay, yet now they also praised it as their best RE games of all time. Well typical fanboys stuff. Hating it first then loving it after.
Isa Barron Well I've only watched 'let's play' from Markplier but until the end of the game. And yes the ending was really weird, especially for me when this "Redfield" guy who saved Ethan from Eveline, rode a chopper with Umbrella logo but with blue color right?
Irvan Bahcdim Yeah. There's a lot of confusion and debate. People who are just starting off their RE experience with RE7 are going with what was presented to them at the end and the credits whereas the ones who have a longer history with the series are looking at things from logical points of view. I'm with the "veterans". I too don't think that's really Chris at the end. Though there is one part of the game where you hear a radio transmission and you clearly hear Chris' voice. For those who have played previous RE games, it will be easy to recognize the voice actor who's been playing as Chris for a few years now. I believe the guy from the radio was the real Chris contacting his fellow BSAA mates and the random dude at the end is an impostor. Capcom does have a thing for cloning characters or keeping secret characters for future games (look at Alex Wesker who finally made her debut in RE: Revelations 2) The theories that seem the most logical are (1. That might be HUNK (2. It's a more refined clone of Chris (3. An unknown relative. But definitely not his child. xD That's one of the ilogical theories.
Isa Barron Well there are some theories that the RE7 was a spin off when Redfield rebuild Umbrella and use them as special forces dealing with B.O.W, or hell even some said that RE7 was from different parallel universe where Umbrella was the good guys, but yeah I kinda agree with you on that 'Redfield' guy was in fact HUNK, that's make more sense. But I also found out that the story apperantly was made by a Western guy whom wrote F.E.A.R and Spec Ops: The Line games. I guess the lore are kinda screwed.
10:33 the reason is that they made a contract with sony to release a number of games and sony pressured them so they made nemises into 3 because it was finished and made code veronica into a spinoff because it wasnt back then.
I loved the classic Resi's 1, 2, and 0- but the action oriented ones were not as fun. The reason I loved the originals was because of the lack of action- the clunky awkward controls made me feel somewhat helpless sometimes- plus it allowed the puzzles and survival horror to be the focus.
I still remember playing RE4 as a 7 y/o kid being chill and just killing off the villagers one by one, then accidentally triggered the chainsaw dude. Defo the best moment I had in a game
I can't believe you completely ignored Revelations and Revelations 2, titles that are just as relevant as Code Veronica and the numbered titles, and even more relevant to the whole lore of the franchise than Resident Evil 4.
I thought that as well. Revelations was a tie in from 4-5. it has important cannon that was completely missed! It was also a huge experience on the 3ds pushing the capabilities of the handheld. they also wanted it to be the first 3d resident evil. I'm assuming he did this because he wanted the 107 to coincide with his video title and re7 coming out. still a shame though......
I mean, he talked about lots of spinoffs and other series coming from the developers, but he aslo missed thinks like the darkside and umbrella chronicles and resident evil outbreak. There are also like 5 other games he missed. My point is he missed more important games that involved way more story or fun then the two revelations. Not saying those two are bad games, not really good ones.

0:08 "There's been an endless amount of media made for the series, including video games, movies, comic books, novels, you name it, resident evil has most likely done it." ... what about rule 34?
I had the Dual Shock version growing up as a child. It took me 7 long years to figure out how to get Claire's CD out. I didn't even know there was a 2nd CD growing up. Until one day I dropped the CD case, and it popped open, revealing a 2nd unscathed disk.
x Rokai those are such underated yet one of the best, it's the first of the series to introduce an online coop that was way ahead of it's time during its released and why it does not features a voice chat.
16:51 *shivers* Also, I am super happy Nemesis was created and as a main villain of a main game, I am more than sure the series wouldn't have reached where it is now without him (as a character). I salute the designer! And I based my oc (original character) named "D00M" on the Nemesis as his younger brother in the story I wrote but then completely threw it off to re-make it to be all mine and has nothing to do with RE including all my characters. Great vid btw.
I thought it did? Why do people say the HD version of RE4 uses "gamecube's cutscenes" for the separate ways campaign? Somebody must've made a massive lie I guess if so many people think it's GameCube cutscenes
Man, I think I should finally give Veronica a try. I keep hearing everyone talk about it but I never got to play it Thanks for making this video Leaderboard :) Being a big fan of Resident Evil this was very interesting to listen to!
My favorite part was when Leon just randomly calls dibs on the bike and somehow did not crash it (that part during the final battle DOES not count he intended it for it to crash)
ChiefRocka The 1 if you want an extra challenge try playing the whole game with just the knife. its super hard but possible. somebody has already beaten it on madhouse mode with just the knife which seems insane to me.

I got Resident Evil 7 Platinum just two days ago. But Resident Evil 6 is still amazing. Any true Resident Evil fan should agree since you get all the characters and stories. And you get to see Chris and Leon meet face to face.
You first do the 22nd fact and call it a "remaster" when on the 23rd you literally contradicted yourself. The game wasn't remastered for PS4 and Xbox One, it was first remastered on the Gamecube, THEN HD Ported over to those two consoles.
A lot of people seem to forget about RE Outbreak. I know it's a side story but *technically* it's the last RE game to feature tank controls and those fixed camera angles (if you don't count RE4's fixed camera angles in the Ashley segments for the Japanese version).
Fun fact - Resident Evil 4's camera inspired developers into what we now know as over-the-shoulder. Resident Evil Outbreak had online coop 5 years before the release of the 3rd RE Coop game: Resident Evil 5.
Some more facts for those who care: #1 In Dead Rising 1 there is a sandwich store called "Jill's Sandwiches" which is a reference to the "Jill-Sandwich" from Resident Evil 1 #2 In Dead Rising 2 there is a store called "Chris' Fine Food" which is probably a reference to Resident Evil, too because with that Jill and Chris both have their own store. #3 Shinji Mikami, the "father" of Resident Evil later went to Konami and was responsible for "The Evil Within", a game that felt more like the original Resident Evil than the last Resident Evil games. #4 if you touch Jill's butt or boobs in the Nintendo DS game "Resident Evil Deadly Silence" she will cover that part of her body with her hands. (also works with Chris' butt)
Re4 type merchant, possessed people/monsters like re4, 1st person/vr availability like re7 (with the ability to switch to 3rd), big cult type storyline, new freeroam areas, added frightening tightly spaced areas like re7. In my opinion, all this could make an all new iconic resident evil...
I hate how the resident evil movies literally have nothing to do with resident evil like the main character having telekinesis riiiiiiiggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......t..
Because it's just a generic cover-shooter clone with resident evil elements, nothing interesting there. Umbrella corps was even worse Umbrella chronicles was fun as hell though

Heh)
Resident Evil 5: Took a bit of a more worldwide approach compared to the other games. While he scariness went to pretty much 0, the action value went insane. Heck, the boss battles went from total panic mode to rouge Rambo mode. I thought RE couldn't get more MICHAEL BAY. Or so I thought…
Resident Evil 6: MOAR MICHAEL BAY LMAO.
Yay :)
Resident Evil7: SCREW YOU LUCAS.
Resident evil 7 was my first introduction to the series so i have nothing to base it on but i thout RE7 was relly good
Save yourself the money, don't buy that crap game operation raccoon city, it sucks and is just a generic third person cover-shooter with resident evil elements
Code Veronica was an enjoyable game for me (2 runs), the story was wacky, but I loved how certain choices and gameplay styles with claire would greatly affect your gameplay with chris (such as being poisoned or not during claire's last fight in Antarctica)
Outbreak is one of my personal favorites. I didn't like the fact that it had no story, but short campaigns, but I like how those short campaigns explain a lot of what happens in main games, like the blown-up street at the beginning of RE3, its soundtrack was the best, and the multiple endings (yes, each of 8 characters have their own good and bad ending, also the four dual bad endings which were way better than the solo bad ending or even their good endings)
RE0 is another good game in my opinion, the character switching mechanism was an interesting way to play, and I feel it had more story (compared to 1).
Nice. A fellow gamer that enjoys a game without whinning.
YoshiMonzi give code v a go mate its not bad game
Nothing can ever top the original three (RE1 and/or directors cut, RE 2, and RE 3) That trilogy as awesome, each one played off a story of the other pretty well and had their own stories and twists
This is true. Tho I like to add code Veronica next to re3 just because that's the actual sequel to re2. Re3 was more of a 'midquel'.
@@koinpusher Yup. RE3 Nemesis was more of an Add-On pack to RE2, or Jill's Scenario but became the official sequel. Thought it was neat how it takes place before, during and after RE2. Everything before the clock tower is before RE2, when u r playing as Carlos RE2 events are happening, and when Jill is cured Leon and Claire have done escaped the city and is after RE2
boulder punching!!!
Yeah, it never gets old! :D
Every time me and my Friend talk about Resident evil we Bring up the Boulder Punching lol
I love boulder punching! :P
lol :D I almost forgot
Tbh if you co-op RE5 you don't even need to get to boulder punching! Whoever's playing Chris just needs to go for the diamond and whoever's playing as sheva just needs to wait at the point ya got separated at and magnum shot to weskers weak point on his back and it's basically game over... Tbh this should have been 1 of the facts...
As ignored as it is, the Wii was perfect for RE4. The controls were great and the aiming was honestly perfect.
The resident evil rail shooters (umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles) were really fun spinoffs as well
Yes!! a lot of people don't like those games but I really enjoyed them, though they were fun to play as someone who had already played the previous games
I was a huge fan of Resident Evil: Dead Aim, which was playable with a light-gun, just like Duck Hunt. The only downside to it is that it's unplayable on new TVs, due to the way a light-gun reads the screen.
2:52 my new headcanon is that Mikami's original Biohazard script was in fact titled 'You were almost a Jill Sandwich, an Interactive Horror Experience by Shinji Mikami'
rest in peace you beautiful machine!
forever .. Dreamcast
The MAJOR flaw of the Dreamcast was.....it was wayy too ahead of its time.
I've bought Resident Evil 4 a total of 8x.
2 for the GameCube, 2 for the PS2, 1 for the Wii, 1 for the Xbox 360, 1 for the PS4, and 1 for PC.
Had to buy twice for the GameCube and PS2 because of scratched discs.
resident evil 4 was the best
Resident Evil 4 changed the entire gaming industry as a whole. Few other games have ever done that.
RE4 ruined Resident Evil RE2 or REmake is probably the best
Matt skirble Nope
Matt skirble RE4 ruined it for you and you alone. For everyone else is was a masterpiece.
Resident Evil 4 was and still is one of the greatest video games I have ever had the chance to play. Up there with The Last of Us and Bioshock.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has so much history and backstory that you could make a 107 Facts about THAT.
You may have given us an idea :-)
The Leaderboard DO IT!!!!!
DO IT P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:p;P:P:P:
I would like to see that for 107 facts on Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
Fact 108.
Did you know?
Even if you think Resident Evil 7 isn't Resident Evil, it still says it on the box?
SpiritSnake1 mind blowned
SpiritSnake1 Game discs come in cases. Not boxes, kid.
High Tier Gamer It holds something.
Has contents.
Seems pretty box-y to me.
SpiritSnake1 Seems pretty casey, too.
+High Tier Gamer Look up the definition of a box, and realize that a case IS a box. A box describes a variety of containers for use as storage and often used for transporting contents. Mind = Blown
11:50 Code Veronica is one of the best game ever made ( In my opinion ofc )
doesnt even mention that one of the resident evil 4 versions turned into devil may cry
tvirus8193 the amount of facts for RE4 had to have been reduced. Wouldn't be surprised if they do go back to that since there's just so many development facts that can be covered.
You seem to have avoided Resident Evil: Revelations 1 and 2, also best selling games.
And you forgot some 11 more games/expansions without numbers.
THE BOULDER PUNCHING WAS EPIC!
Am I the only RE fan who doesn't dislike anything in the series (except Gaiden and the live-action movies)?
I can live with gaiden. Live action movies? Not so much.
Yes, you're the only one.
Same
No, I'm with you.
You want to talk about the film series? What about the shitty "resident evil 7" game?
27:02 the boulder punching was the highlight of the game.
Irvan Bahcdim I don't know if you've already played RE7 or not, but the fanbase is on a huge debate right now in regards to its bizzare ending.
Didnt even mention devil may cry for re4
Kazerai Samma A very important detail many people forget about
Kazerai Samma ikr
Kazerai Samma Wait what?
RE4 was originally DMC,that is why Leon and Dante are similar
Jake Dinnan How does a fact not make sense lol
*That was awesome ✅🙂*
Vertified channel with 26 likes wow..
Am i the only one that likes the classic re and the more action re?
No
I love both
I loved the classic Resi's 1, 2, and 0- but the action oriented ones were not as fun. The reason I loved the originals was because of the lack of action- the clunky awkward controls made me feel somewhat helpless sometimes- plus it allowed the puzzles and survival horror to be the focus.
What makes 6 "unplayable"???
People who call 5 playable and 6 unplayable only do so, because they want sluggish controls to help them feel helpless.
Anfrers yep I was wondering that too. .
He didn't say it wasn't relevant, he said it was more relevant than RE4
EpicSonicSkillz The only relevance it has is Wesker getting the plagas so he can create Uroboros. Nothing else.
Resident Evil Code Veronica is my favorite one.
K
I'd never seen the GameCube cover art for resi 4 and goddamn it's creepy it looks like something from a Steven King movie
Captain ZombieLL I remember that day....Gamecube exclusive RE 4 was the first few months. still love staring at that case lol
RE 4 has got to be my favorite
I love the atmosphere so much compared to the other games

that intro let's get started with the door opening was really gold
resident evil 4 is the best
The title should be the total history of Resident Evil Games instead of *just facts*. It was super awesome. You surely did huge work to prepare all this and present it in a sequence.
Make 107 Facts about Parasite Eve
Seriously under rated game.
More like not many people know about it. Beautiful game with impressive science (I checked the science) and amazing music.
AMAZING game.
I like this guy, he's better than most of the other guys who basically gives facts about "In this game, you can walk", "it came out on console", this guy is unique
0:08 "There's been an endless amount of media made for the series, including video games, movies, comic books, novels, you name it, resident evil has most likely done it."
... what about rule 34?
We don’t talk about that.(Yes I know what it is)
I think Ive gone through 3 copies of RE4 at this point, all for the Wii. Its still my all time favorite video game even after all these years
am I the only person that loves RE5?
A lot of people loved it. It got great scores and as the video stated is Capcoms biggest seller to this date.
Chris nope
Chris I have 70 hours of playing time so no😩 i love that game
Chris I loved RE5 and 6 and people hate it. I just don't understand.
Jasmin Bobs I think its mainly the AI on Sheva but its the same with Chris and Wesker did die in a bullshit way
Punching the boulder is my favorite thing Mr. Redfeild, AKA Chris, has done.
HarajukuDeadgirls111 u man on re5?
I had the Dual Shock version growing up as a child. It took me 7 long years to figure out how to get Claire's CD out. I didn't even know there was a 2nd CD growing up. Until one day I dropped the CD case, and it popped open, revealing a 2nd unscathed disk.
Awww thats a bummer. On the flip side at least you finally found it.
Resident Evil Remake for the GameCube is #1 for me, I love that game, from the soundtrack to character design to gameplay. I love everything.
Not thing about outbreak or outbreak file 2. I am disappointed
There will be more RE 107s to come :-)
x Rokai those are such underated yet one of the best, it's the first of the series to introduce an online coop that was way ahead of it's time during its released and why it does not features a voice chat.
x Rokai Outbreak is the dictionary definition of "ahead of its time"
16:51 *shivers*
Also, I am super happy Nemesis was created and as a main villain of a main game, I am more than sure the series wouldn't have reached where it is now without him (as a character).
I salute the designer! And I based my oc (original character) named "D00M" on the Nemesis as his younger brother in the story I wrote but then completely threw it off to re-make it to be all mine and has nothing to do with RE including all my characters.
Great vid btw.
i hated how the gamecube version of resident evil 4 didnt have separate ways
or the PRL Laser, or the 2nd extra costumes that turned the Chicago Typewriter into and made Ashley invincible.
Christian Ocasio But hey, "muh graphics are better than content!"
I thought it did?
Why do people say the HD version of RE4 uses "gamecube's cutscenes" for the separate ways campaign? Somebody must've made a massive lie I guess if so many people think it's GameCube cutscenes
Nice video!! RE4 is my favorite! I've played it numerous times! It's replayability rate is high!
Was released on January 24th? Are you in the future or what? XD
Hahahaha. That caught me off guard.
Nah, YTers got it 1 day early, either capcom let them or its a pre-order bonus? But the game was officially released today. (the 24th)
Chris punching that boulder is the best part to any resident evil game period.
Do Devil May Cry!
Jøsh Wallace I wish they do it by now
I still love that Capcom stick to Boulder Punching Chris, everyone knows him for that
Make Resident Evil great again!!!!!
Remakes are here, wish granted
Re7 is here, and now Re8.
Thanks god
Man, I think I should finally give Veronica a try.
I keep hearing everyone talk about it but I never got to play it
Thanks for making this video Leaderboard :) Being a big fan of Resident Evil this was very interesting to listen to!
Number 97 explains why some of the game feels like F.E.A.R.
Bryce Pennington yeah, the plot had similar aspects to spec ops, too. at least imo.
I have probably watched this video 20 times now, sometimes in the background at home. Great video! Love RE!
I got my sights set on, #ResidentEvilVendetta.
Joseph Rodriguez I own all 3 animated movies (via Microsft Video/DVD). They're miles ahead of Anderson's trash.
Do you think you can, give the links to the CGI Ones so I can upload them, on here please?
I love the animation movies, and vendetta is my favourite out of the three
My favorite part was when Leon just randomly calls dibs on the bike and somehow did not crash it (that part during the final battle DOES not count he intended it for it to crash)
Shout out to Makami (However u spell it) for working solo and not giving up, giving the world the RE universe.
Resident Evil 3.5 felt very Silent Hill-esk.
Resident evil 4 was and will forever be the legend in RE series
so Outbreak never exsisted...totally didn't have online co-op years before Resident Evil 5...you guys disappointed me
Omg, Outbreak was some og the good games. Both of them
That ending cracked me up, nobody punches boulders like Chris Roidfield.
re 4 and 5 were the best however I've been a due hard fan my whole life and love every single game
Re4: *respekt*
Re5: *press x to doubt*
my all time favorite thing about the old resident evils is the pre rendered backgrounds
I like Resident Evil Revelations :) Ultimately love the games which has Jill and Claire. Makes me feel the RE vibes :) And I also love RE4 😁
I love this series and among them "Resident evil (Biohazard 4) 4" is my favorite.
re4 is amazing but re7 might be the best, ive beaten it 5 times already and it stays great every time.
ChiefRocka The 1 if you want an extra challenge try playing the whole game with just the knife. its super hard but possible. somebody has already beaten it on madhouse mode with just the knife which seems insane to me.
ChiefRocka The 1 if you want an extra challenge try playing the whole game with just the knife. its super hard but possible. somebody has already beaten it on madhouse mode with just the knife which seems insane to me.
ChiefRocka The 1 did u get both endings?
I got Resident Evil 7 Platinum just two days ago. But Resident Evil 6 is still amazing. Any true Resident Evil fan should agree since you get all the characters and stories. And you get to see Chris and Leon meet face to face.
PS2 REMAKE HYPEEEEEEEEEEEE
Hey, hru?
Crazy to now see the direction capcom did go for their series. Massive successes
You first do the 22nd fact and call it a "remaster" when on the 23rd you literally contradicted yourself. The game wasn't remastered for PS4 and Xbox One, it was first remastered on the Gamecube, THEN HD Ported over to those two consoles.
Gamekub fanboii
A lot of people seem to forget about RE Outbreak. I know it's a side story but *technically* it's the last RE game to feature tank controls and those fixed camera angles (if you don't count RE4's fixed camera angles in the Ashley segments for the Japanese version).
you didnt talk about resident evil revelations 2 and operation racoon city :V
I was wondering if he would. Revelations 2 was super fun. Moira is awesome!
Fun fact - Resident Evil 4's camera inspired developers into what we now know as over-the-shoulder.
Resident Evil Outbreak had online coop 5 years before the release of the 3rd RE Coop game: Resident Evil 5.
Some more facts for those who care:
#1 In Dead Rising 1 there is a sandwich store called "Jill's Sandwiches" which is a reference to the "Jill-Sandwich" from Resident Evil 1
#2 In Dead Rising 2 there is a store called "Chris' Fine Food" which is probably a reference to Resident Evil, too because with that Jill and Chris both have their own store.
*My favorite resident evil is 5. My friends asks why? ME pictures Chris punching bolder 🤣😏💀
Take a shot overtime he mentions meta critic.
NO! I want to live!!
My thoughts through half this video:
"What are you buuuuyin'?"
"You almost became a Jill Sandwich!"
107 facts about resident evil
What i actually hear
107 facts about leon s kennedy
Yes because a debugging theory and mikami means Leon Kennedy.
I remember being just a lil kid playing Resident Evil 4.. time flys by so quickly :(
why no talk about op. raccon city?
Aron Redfield 6 was worse than ORC. Never played Umbrella Corps. though.
Because it's just a generic cover-shooter clone with resident evil elements, nothing interesting there.
Umbrella corps was even worse
Umbrella chronicles was fun as hell though
the best resident evil. so many memories......
Take a shot every time he says “resident evil”
I honestly didn't expect Apogee's Bio Hazard to be mentioned. That game's awesome and it's free on GoG.
