I have met women with “siren” eyes but rounder face shapes and women with “doe” eyes with sharper facial features and honestly I think that this contrast is what makes them more attractive

As a very doe eyed person I'm gonna say this isn't really true. I can make my eyes look a little "sexier" with eyeliner but eyeliner is also a tricky thing for me that has to be applied a certain way to look good. I can't do the standard "cat eye" liner, it doesn't look right, and also there's no way to get rid of scleral show under the iris which is part of what makes the eyes look so big in the first place.
@@rosethorn0232 I see, you made me take other things into consideration. In my case I’m more “doe eyed” but with make up I can exaggerate one and fake the other, but that’s bc my eyes are almond shape and supposedly “it’s the best shape to do makeup on”. But that’s not the case for everyone bc everyone can be different. Although, there are many skilled ‘actual’ make up artists who can do a terrific job so I wonder how it would look on others when it’s professionally done.

Let’s be honest, it doesn’t really matter as long as the rest of your face is attractive. Sure, one of them might look more “fitting” or attractive on you, but it’s not going to make or break you being attractive or unattractive.

I think doe eyes are more practical since both doe & siren eye shapes are liked by men for different reasons. However doe eyes make a woman more likable by other women as it’s not as aggressive as siren eyes.

I think I arguably have doe eyes but I try to lengthen mine to look more siren like. But I lack the inner corner (forgot what it's called but Qoves did do a video on the inner corner for foxy eyes), so my eyes doesn't look quite right.

I definitely have doe eyes, but they’re actually more almond shaped, not round. I think a lot of Mediterranean and Middle eastern people have that combination (Kim Kardashian is the best example I could give of that eye type) That said, every eye shape can be beautiful- I’ve seen people with big beautiful rounded eyes and I’ve seen people with tighter more hooded eyes that were so beautiful and exotic looking. It’s all in the proportions and overall facial harmony.

Doe or siren eyes are just the shape of the eyes, so Doe eyes have a larger height while Siren eyes have a larger with and are more elongated, this doesn’t necessarily indicate that one is larger than the other, you can have Siren eyes and have larger eyes than someone with Doe eyes, it has nothing to do with the actual size of your eyes, just the shape.

Not really, you can’t make your eyes look too much smaller or larger with make up, it only changes the appearance of the shape just a little.

Bullshit. Both are great, both look youthful. People just associate the slanted eye with sexual context thus the separation between "youthful" and "siren" -siren itself signifies "sexual"..they based it on those main points. That's the difference. I do quantitative and qualitative analysis...most is filling in blanks with a group of people then say everyone is like this or that or likes this or that. But, it is not conclusive. Never forget that.

Plus it's actually kind of nice to have a different look from whatever's currently popular. There are plenty of gorgeous women with downturned and/or doe eyes, it's just that we're inundated with the same repetitive look via social media and plastic surgery is more prevalent than ever, so it's like this endless barrage telling us that we don't fit the mold.
