When you mean to say fleshy, I hear it as flashy. When you say hair bangs, I hear it as hair bands, and I think you mean to say just plain bangs(fringe). Thought you might find my obsevation amusing. However, I do appriciate the information, this was a fun video :)

To put it simply, round face means you have less bone shown in your face and your jawline is less sharpier, more rounder. Square means your jawline is strong, your face is wide-ish and your cheek bones are high-ish up plus, your forehead is smaller than heart. To find if your face shape is heart, it has similar features to that of square but with bigger forehead. Diamond, your cheek area is wider than your forehead and chin, which are the same size. But if your cheek area is wider and your forehead is smaller than your chin, then that's pear shape! Oval, is basically similar to round but the length of your face is longer. Hope this helped :))

I have no idea what kinda face shape I have even with this video. 🤣 I have long face, with wider part in forehead, with strong jawline. I thought I have heart shaped but I have no appointed chin (more round) aaaand I have no low hairline (it's high and it's just centimeter longer than chin-to-nose part). But dunno about oblong face. 🤔 Although jaw and cheek width is very close (1cm difference), my forehead is wider, and people said that pixie cut I had once suited me very well.

Based on the ratios, I actually have an oblong face. But….here’s the catch, my oblong face is still huge and broader than most other oblong faces which gets mistaken for square or round face shape. It is really tough to find the right hair cut and selfie angle. I have a high forehead, high cheekbones, broad square jawline, double chin, fine hair. One one hand, attempting to hide the high forehead makes my face look broader. And then my attempt to hide the broadness of my face makes my forehead look higher and balder. My long bangs are also to thin to flatter my jawline anyway.. Can’t win. Wish I could find a solution without plastic surgery or photoshop.😢
Wavy hair that is tall and voluminous at the top/crown will not make your face look too wide, and I think it can look really cute on a square, round, or pear shaped face because it balances out the volume of the face. In my opinion, thin, straight hair on a bigger or fleshier face makes the face look bigger, whereas voluminous (including at the top of the head) hair that frames the face nicely will make your face look relatively smaller, in a good way.

Ok question. You said for a heart face shape you have a pointed hairline. I like to think of myself having a heart shaped face by measurements and examining my face thoroughly in the mirror and I can kinda clearly see I may have a heart shaped face most given that widows peak that I got. Now my question to you is is it possible to have a widows peak hairline having other face shapes besides heart? Because now I'm pretty confused to what face shape I got now between heart or round.

Hi! I have a similar situation. Most likely an oval. However, you should concentrate on your features, if you ask me. For instance: I have a weaker chin with a round jawline, so I adjust my make up and hair accordingly. Look if you have longer mid face, or longer forehead, if you want or don't want to accentuate your prominent cheekbones (I choose to not, so I do softer hairstyles to hide them). Etc. I hope this helped at least a bit.

Im still clueless about my face shape...
