Thank you so much for interviewing me, i'm honored to be part of this video ! Much love to Soul Calibur :) ! And hi everybody ! I agree with you that Core-A deserves 1 million subscribers
It's truly wonderful to see how big EVO truly has become and I also loved coming up from Australia to Japan to see this, It's event like these that can reignite a person's passion for fighting games while adding and learning new things and tech you never even knew about.
Another high quality video by Mr. Core-A-Gaming. I swear to God you are one of most underrated Gaming channel out there. Definitely deserve more subscribers.
I love the tasteful way you've presented Evo here. It's content like this that we need to put out to the world in order to build awareness that competitive fighting games aren't some gimmick and that they're here to stay.
Obama lets you know the emotion, tone, and background. It helped make the guilty gear top 8 my favorite top 8 as a fan of the fgc backing the great gameplay. I’ve only been watching for a year and half, maybe him giving so much information annoys veteran spectators but a lot of ppl hate him and I don’t see why. No1 gives James Chen shit for crying really, but people get mad Obama sounds like he will?
thanks for mentioning the anti-gambling laws. some of the more fighting game-savvy people in my Dungeon Fighter Online guild thought i was pulling that out of my ass. those laws are what happens when the Yakuza only want people to gamble on pachinko and horse racing.
Honestly its great to see a bunch of people celebrate a shared common interest and be excited for prospects for the future. While not everyone where can run events like Evo Japan its great to see the FGC continue to pull itself up with the love for the games that they play and even don't play.
Good idea. But does Street Fighter counts as an anime fighting game because it had an anime show in the old days so "technically" we could categorise it as one?
It's nice that Evo JP finally got off the ground especially after the old JP tournaments died off. Even though the next one takes place in a less tourist-y city, it's a tournament for the East hemisphere players to square off without making the long expensive trip to Vegas for a weekend event
Kayane. Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Can't wait to see the Soul Calibur community finally return to the stage of history by next year.
Hey man, do you think for one of your upcoming videos you could make an encyclopedia type video of fighting game phrases/techniques, with examples. You'd be by far the best person on UA-cam to do a video solely on this. I know you've touched on these throughout previous videos but I believe it's needs a video of its own. Also, I look forward to whatever you got in the pipeline as it's always quality content :)
So, if they continue to do this, why not make it more meaningful for Japanese locals? Top 10 players for said game automatically get free entry into EVO US. All expenses paid or some shit like that.
Hope this leads to some of the lesser known players who can't normally make it to Vegas getting noticed, getting either sponsored/picked up by a team/go-fund-me'd to international tourneys. As well as EVO Japan getting bigger in it's own right.
Thank you so much for interviewing me, i'm honored to be part of this video ! Much love to Soul Calibur :) ! And hi everybody ! I agree with you that Core-A deserves 1 million subscribers

Instant like! I know I'm always in for a treat whenever I see this notification!
Great video keep up the work bud!
Great content, as usual!
thanks for mentioning the anti-gambling laws. some of the more fighting game-savvy people in my Dungeon Fighter Online guild thought i was pulling that out of my ass. those laws are what happens when the Yakuza only want people to gamble on pachinko and horse racing.
YES, its cronyism. I fucking hate pachinko for that reason.
How do the anti-gambling laws apply to a fighting game tournament? I'm curious.
I was so happy to take part in this event.
Cool video. It's really been building since then.
YES! I automatically click whenever I see you post a video!
Honestly its great to see a bunch of people celebrate a shared common interest and be excited for prospects for the future. While not everyone where can run events like Evo Japan its great to see the FGC continue to pull itself up with the love for the games that they play and even don't play.
Shoutout to Knee and Infiltration! Good job guys! =)
Ever since I was 15, I always wanted to go to Japan. One day I will live that dream.
Have you ever considered talking about how anime fighting games are different than traditional fighting games?
That would be a cool video to watch!
Good idea. But does Street Fighter counts as an anime fighting game because it had an anime show in the old days so "technically" we could categorise it as one?
Mandatory Core-A Infiltration interview :P
Awesome video, keep up the good work. :)
great vid, keep the videos comining!
I saw Super Potato during that b-roll of Akihabara. What an awesome shop.
i loved every moment from that Guilty Gear commentator lol. He was the reason i left the stream on. he has true love for his game
Guilty Gear's final 30 minutes was the hypest thing I've seen on Twitch. And man that fighting games speech was amazing.
Always quality content
Good stuff as always
Another great vid ✌️
Great video, man!
Este canal merece mayor reconocimiento. Videos bien echos .
Another video. *NOICE*
Another fantastic video.

Excellent video, evo japan was great

Man Rev 2's Grand Finals was one of the best matches i've seen in awhile. Nage is a god damn hero
I was wondering what the godlike ending music were, so i checked description and wtf! Really? Rising thunder? Awesome!
Great to see such big events...
What set is Majin talking about at 3:52? I'm HYPE, I'm sold, let's go!
I don't even care about fighting games, but I love these videos
Amazing. Your production values are slick. When are you making a full length documentary?!
So, if they continue to do this, why not make it more meaningful for Japanese locals? Top 10 players for said game automatically get free entry into EVO US. All expenses paid or some shit like that.
Depends. Maybe those strict anti-gambling laws stop that too. Idk
I do not believe they do. Smash tournaments in Japan have done the "free flight to US" thing a bunch.
CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY BOIS
Shout out to our French fighting woman Kayane! and big support from france by the way!
Thank you :)
Hope this leads to some of the lesser known players who can't normally make it to Vegas getting noticed, getting either sponsored/picked up by a team/go-fund-me'd to international tourneys. As well as EVO Japan getting bigger in it's own right.
Japan is just plain flashy for any events. To me it is just so unique the way how they set up their events.
I wish this video was longer 😢 i fucking love your videos style
My man Infiltration with the new hair piece looking good
Dope vid Gerald
This is Knee's year, love from India
Ahhh I missed watching core-a uploads 😍
I'll make it to evo one day. For now, I gotta keep practicing my wake up options.
great video! InfilGOOOOOD
Awesome video as always. Does anyone know the name of the song running at 3:18 ?
Man, I needed to scroll down here for your comment to know what it was, but still disappointed that you were left unanswered. I need to know it!!
I have never been to a big video game tourney or an event like e3 or PAX either. Wish I could have gone once or twice at least. Oh well someday....
My favorite competitors took the championship in each game. Knee in tekken and infiltration in sfv
strict gambling laws but pachinko is everywhere.
Infiltration's hair game is on point, he looks great
