The fact that midway thru a podcast, he realized that not showing the exact clip correctly, was gonna lower retention of the viewer. I mean he knows the algorithm, like truly does.

Anyone that spends enough time on a fuckton of content on the internet knows about how the algorithm works. Jimmy just went god mode on it and has the work ethic to continue and be consistent about it.

I'm not even a subscriber of MrBeast, but you gotta respect his hustle and how well he knows the game. Genuinely hope he starts his own platform that is able to compete with UA-cam. This is the exact type of person I would trust with running a platform and balancing the creative and business aspects. I would be surprised if he limits himself purely to creating content, he has the drive to do so much more
He's not limiting himself to just creating content, he has a burger chain and chocolate brand. Pretty sure he got dozens of other income sources by now that I can't think of at the top of my head

i was starting to see mr.beast as kind of soulless because of his more recent content and i think a lot of his og viewers were too but this podcast really helps me see him as just a dude that’s really really good at manipulating the algorithm.

Also some complex things may seem extremely simple or easy to do. When you immediately dismiss the comment by crying ego, you forgo any chance to get a better understanding of something that you have no knowledge about.

He should have done three full length videos, released a week apart. Viewer retention would have followed. He could also have made behind the scenes videos to release on mr beast 2. A lot of them, really. He recorded so much for squid games. I wish he would have been compensated better

I’m curious what his iq is considering while he may not be a smart guy on the surface, his knowledge and ability on how to retain viewership and control the algorithm are on an insane level.
He's dedicated his life to that. When someone dedicates their entire existence to something they tend to be quite good at it. He may or may not be super smart but he's worked very hard at getting very good at something his entire life, and that can be admired depending how you want to look at it
He studied it super hard when he was growing his channel.

There are many things we tell kids not to do that we do ourselves as adults. Generally being an example of the behavior you want a kid to follow is better, but he does that on his channel. He probably wouldn't be swearing in a room with kids in it either.
