I have been micro-obsessing over this man for the past few days. I truly am at a loss of words when it comes to his ability to hyper fixate on something and dedicate his entire life on it. Then you think about how he is literally molding the world and society to film his next videos, and how he does it with a passion for good, and how he is 24 goddamn years old. Then the significance of filming someone else's intimate moments to generate more interest and revenue, and the zeitgeist of a culture where there seems to be no greater happiness than getting money. (and what it means for that culture). The implications both good and bad of such a driven man reaching such heights of power unconventionally, I guess, will play out over the next years, but damn if it isn't hard to not be excited about it when he has most of his life in front of him. It is exciting to think of the changes this might bring to the status quo and the perception of power, but most of all I am extremely interested in the changes to his personality from now on, because the wisdom and just the... sagacity he shows at 24 years old is impressive.
I’ve never been super impressed with this very young man aside from his amazing philanthropic work, I’m too old to enjoy his videos. But if he’s not fronting about not spending his money like most people would, I’ve gotta give him props on that. He’s a big influence on young people with every kid under 15 wanting to be a UA-camr, and I think he knows that.
but really if he knows that then his story here is bad, sure everything aligned and it worked out for him but not focusing on any school, any college, spending all mony etc is not always the best look for kids who jsut want to be a youtuber...i think you should encourage people o be creative and go against the norm but not give them an unrealistic perception of life

This lad is a genius.
I bet his mother adores him. He is a prize of a son..humble, generous, passionate and compassionate
It's the power of having no social life, of not quitting, of staying on the same path, of outsourcing mistake making to like minds on the same path, and of completely ignoring school. A lot of people could probably succeed at something big if they followed Jimmy's model - very, very cool.
i wouldn't suggest quitting school first, for every Mr.beast there are a million subscribers. but the the level of focus this man had is just insane, very few people i know wouldn't bail half way through
This sounds more like a socially akward person
@@Mix_009 For real, especially his counting video, it's insane how determined he is
Yeah nobody should use Mr beast as an excuse like “I don’t need school”. FINISH HIGHSCHOOL. If you don’t finish high school it is much more difficult to be employed by someone.
I love how Joe is asking these questions you can tell he is really trying to fully understand and learn
Spot on. 🎯
He’s far more humble and wise than I would have imagined
Two great youtubers come together and talk, love it!
I'm glad that someone like Mr Beast is growing to be one of the most influential figures for the youth
For the world 🌎 hopefully
Hopefully not influencing too much of the youth to hate school, not study, etc. Most who do that won't have the success like Jimmy
@@JBuchmann Fair point
@@sisigpapi Yeah and as a violin tutor, I often ask what my students want to be when they graduate ( I never say "when you grow up") and the majority say "I want to be an influencer....
It's a little bit scary knowing that about half of my (40) 9-yr-olds simply throw around the word "influencer" because their favourite thing is watching entrepreneurs on UA-cam...
They don't even mention violin. They never say, I want to be a performer/be in in an orchestra/ become a teacher/ become an instrument maker.
There are so many days when I play the role of "babysitter" rather than teacher. It's a little disheartening to say the least.
@@liamnevilleviolist1809 Yeah that's a fair point. Ig being an influencer or content creator is becoming more and more common these days. People trying to make it on the internet like how people try to make it in Hollywood; a few will make it but the vast majority won't. Always nice to see people who become "big" while combining their talent into it though. As far as violin playing, Lindsey Stirling comes to mind who did well and stuck to their craft. But then again it also sucks when fame engulfs people and you have people like NikoAvocado who started off playing the instrument and over time slowly morphing into what he does now
