I have been micro-obsessing over this man for the past few days. I truly am at a loss of words when it comes to his ability to hyper fixate on something and dedicate his entire life on it. Then you think about how he is literally molding the world and society to film his next videos, and how he does it with a passion for good, and how he is 24 goddamn years old. Then the significance of filming someone else's intimate moments to generate more interest and revenue, and the zeitgeist of a culture where there seems to be no greater happiness than getting money. (and what it means for that culture). The implications both good and bad of such a driven man reaching such heights of power unconventionally, I guess, will play out over the next years, but damn if it isn't hard to not be excited about it when he has most of his life in front of him. It is exciting to think of the changes this might bring to the status quo and the perception of power, but most of all I am extremely interested in the changes to his personality from now on, because the wisdom and just the... sagacity he shows at 24 years old is impressive.

Yah, I'm sure his rise was totally organic and not backed up by a huge team of people, a production crew, and millions of dollars. It was just a random kid with his friends doing it all on their own. Smh people will believe anything.

Jimmy is the proof that having good grades and being an academically smart person isn’t what will bring you success and happiness in your life. Loving something and being passionate about it (and sometimes even being obsessed with it) is what will bring you success and happiness. He fell in love with creating videos and he worked only on that, because that was the thing he was passionate about, that was the thing he loved to do. He might not know how to solve a math equation or the history of the world (because he said in the interview that he studied almost nothing in school) but he is the most successful UA-camr and he probably knows EVERYTHING that you need to know about how to successfully run a UA-cam channel, how to successfully get the viewers’ attention, how to come up with ideas for videos that will go viral and bring more followers and views. He might not be an academic genius but he is a UA-cam and social media genius.
My son watches all the youtubers who want to be Mr Beast on such a massive scale, but he hasn't watched Mr Beast. I think it's time, as a kid who has wanted to be a youtuber for years now, to open that floodgate.
As someone who doesn't do well in a traditional classroom environment, I never get tired of hearing Jimmy's story of how he broke away from community college and worked hard to escape what his parents expected of him at the time.
Well in his defense, Mr. Beast has a vision, and he worked his ass off to make it happen. Plus he was lucky to get with like minded person to shorten the learning curve. If one do not follow what he did, might as well listen to your parents suggestion.

"Borderline suicidal, can't stand sitting there listening to this dumb stuff"

Respect to this guy. He did it completely grass roots, worked his ass off until he made it, and remained humble once he got on top. World could use more people like this.
@Clyde Wellington you sound bitter and jealous
@Clyde Wellington everyone who is smart agrees with you
@Clyde Wellington why do you a automatically assume it’s an act? Maybe he just genuinely is a decent percent. Yeah I’m sure he lives well, but there’s a difference between that and the multi billionaires on Wall Street who do absolutely everything to feed their own pocket. This dude literally makes a living by giving shit away to people. He didn’t start it because he felt guilty, it’s what made him blow up. People always have to hate.
Yes. UA-camr is a viable career now that most of society is glued to screens.
@Clyde Wellington You used the words “clickbait titles”
That typically implies that they are misleading. Idk Mr Beast that well or his videos so when I ask this I’m being completely genuine, but are his videos misleading? Is he not really giving out as much money as his titles say?
It was amazing to see his confidence grow throughout this segment. He's so humble. He seemed so shy at first, like he didn't do anything important, or wasn't sure. Then he realized he's great and his condifidence took over. I loved it!
Yeah, it's interesting and somehow pleasing to watch.
