The fact that MrBeast spent 3 million bucks just to make a set for a 30 minute video rather than splitting it into multiple parts, which he could have easily done shows how much this man cares about the production value instead of just milking all those views as much as possible.

@@aaditshah820 It's actually both views and watchtime that matters. Much watchtime but not so many viewers won't do you shit, as at the end of the day it also depends on the viewer count on how much revenue you get out of publishing your content on UA-cam for many reasons.
He is not like the other UA-camrs he concentrates in watch time and quality.

@@aaditshah820 a concept like this could have made longer and in parts and still managed to destroy the views while making 30 minute videos for each. That way you have more character development and you actually feel attached too the players, instead of just wondering who and how they win without caring about the people. So in reality, he could have definitely done more with as many cameras as he had which is why it felt so rushed. Even Simon said it at the beginning that there wasn’t much suspense in green light red light.

That's the point! I've heard so many people say reaction videos suck and the person reacting doesn't do shit. But if they are entertaining and/or make a nice video watching companion, and are contributing to the content themselves, they are so worth watching.
I like Simon’s opinions like I watched the original video just to see and wasn’t that into but this video gave me things to consider which I like

He gave one of them an island lol like I enjoy the sidemen content too but just giving the peas to your mates and not the fans can also be seeing as more selfish. Not saying they are but I appreciate MrBeast sharing the wealth with others and not just within his own group.
@@unintentionaleffectiveness4393 I am not critiquing whether it's selfish or not. I personally, just find videos alot more interesting when the main creators are interacting with each other. Like in the Sidemen videos, all the members interacting with each other makes them exciting for me. In this video, i genuinely couldn't watch the original Jimmy video for more than 4 minutes before getting bored because there was barely any interaction between Chandler and Chris ( for example). Not saying MrBeast videos are bad, I just prefer Sidemen videos.

I mean he is being honest about his opinions. The entire red light green light thing did seem very rushed and lacked suspense. And Simon's always been someone who nitpicks. It is kind of expected that he would point out even the smallest things.

@@conor9237 Thing is MrBeast knows pacing. When there are 456 people, what will be the suspense, this isn't scripted that he can focus on one person. With everyone knowing how the games works even the mystery factor goes in the bin. From what I heard, this was an arena and they paused for long to film intro's and stuff. As mad as it sounds, Sidemen and all of Simon's content is so laid back compared to this. He just seems to be so picky with everything apart from Sidemen and Troops stuff.
