    Fun fact about the propane, it has a refrigerant designation of R-290. It can operate at the lowest temperature of most known refrigerant types, but it has to be below atmospheric pressure to do so.

      If you become an inventor maybe more than just protosabers could exist in the world, how about miniaturized rocket engines like ironmans repulsers using a coating starlite to protect your feet and hands from the heat?

      real one will be done using laser technology..not gas...someway to contain amplified multi-laser beams in a confined area by using magnets...the big issue is it would require lots nano-tech engineering and realisticly it would take few years without a factory to actually build.....and probably a lil short on tech advancement for them to get their hand on yet to made materials(stuff on the level of graphene but that would have properties that a lightsaber could use)........basicly i imagine a "cap" magnetized to the handle exaustion spot and that when the laser get turn on it push that cap up(the cap would have built in powerfull magnets so that it cant be push back to far by the laser and would also serve as limiting the range of the beam AND contain the laser within....thats as far i can help them with design....i have no knowledge in engineering itself....coming up with designs is the easy part...assembling and having materials knowledge is an headache XD...its like staring at a wall of binary numbers and your brain explode trying to decypher it XD

    The fact that they improvised by using light saber as the heater and a literally screwdriver as a mixer shows how geniuse they are.
    You can read a lot of books, bu it won't teach you how to face a unexpected scenario.

Well using the light saver as a heater was the best choice it’s the hottest thing in the building and a screw driver could of been replaced with anything else like a metal spoon but I guess the screw driver was the closest object near them

    What's funny is you revealed a way to bypass the intended way of finishing the task. They didn't have to use the saber - they could just knock over the safe and then flip it on its side. But of course, that would mean not using a light saber, and who in their right mind would give up the chance to use a real light saber? 😀

    It’s cool because in Star Wars that’s actually how the first lightsabers were. The first Jedi had to use a backpack like this for a power source. Just wish you could figure out a way to make it a little longer so it doesn’t look like Yodas saber.

      Garage door was open, so it was not a room. Natural Ventilation is a powerful thing. Thats why they say if your car is idle in the garage, the garage door has to be open otherwise you'll turn your garage into a carbon monoxide haven.

    The first lightsabers developed in Star Wars lore, actually looked very similar to this, with packs worn on the waist or back containing power cells. Pretty badass to think we've done the same!

      you must have missed the countless times he referred to it as a proto-saber then ig cause funnily enough these look very similar to the first lightsabers in star wars lore because he literally based it off of proto-sabers, because an actual lightsaber wouldn't be very viable to build in a real world setting due to kyber crystals obviously being fictional, and it would not very practical nor safe to attempt to fill up the same handle that radiates such a high temperature with the same gasses needed to fuel it

    An idea I have for an invention, you can make a suit with electro powers if you made a suit that was completely covered in static generators, with all of the positive ends attached to plates of metal touching your skin, and all the negative ends connected to pieces of metal at the bottom of your shoes, perhaps the switch to turn it on and off could be a dial designed to look like the ark reactor from No Way Home

      technically it's possible if the person ( Electro ) is able to Contain More Charge like a battery , and when he gets overcharged enough , it's possible to let the energy flow from higher energy density medium to lower ones as bolts or arcs.     That door repair reminds me of the stories Adam Savage sometimes tells of the old days at Industrial Light and Magic. You guys literally fixed days of work in minutes to make the scene happen with nothing but the tools on hand. As bad as the mistake was, you need to also take some confidence from this.

      Gallium actually melts at just above room temp, meaning that if you hold it in your hand, it will start to melt. I think they melted it with a lightsaber purely for speed, or for eccentricity.
