It deserved to be on a bigger platform like HBO. I absolutely loved everything about the show, from the amazing cast to the awesome writers, right down to the opening. There was literally not a weak character all amazing actor's and the very sexy Summer and the way she played Cameron was a masterclass. The ability to pull off being a machine with no emotions to playing human but never quite mastering a human sense of humor tho she thought she did only made it better. Talk about Layers. Lena going from Sarah to Cersi yet watching an episode of both shows one after the other and still believing both characters is something not many actors can pull off. I really wish they would do a reboot starting from season 4. Hell they time travel so any possible plot holes or continuity can be easily fixed.
I rewatched the show after ten years, it’s on Hulu. Rewatching I just appreciate it cause it feels so modern yet so familiar. The facial reactions of Sarah (Lena) still haunt me. She was very sexy in this weird loner kind of way. She smiled but out of nowhere her smile would sink because of what was going on. This show kept me going through some tough times man. The ending was hard for me, I couldn’t be there when it ended I had to work. Back when you didn’t wanna miss it on TV and I didn’t really have internet, I was 21. I eventually saw it cause my little brother recorded it for me on VHS. He said “some cool terminator movie commercial came out” I’m like dang bro. In addition the end made me tear up man this time yet it didn’t before. Thomas Dekker is an awesome actor. Seeing Cameron or whoever the real girl is supposed to be with the german shepherd at the end seeing the uncle, seeing the young soon to be father. Seeing the brothers reunited. If you could travel back in time and reunite like that. This ending was perfect as it is. And seeing Sarah say no, but hearing her voice at the end crackling through time either she came through or her love did. That was powerful and timeless for me
The cringe scene for me was when Cameron asks John to "take a look at my body". Wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't supposed to be a sibling dynamic of sorts though. Yikes!
