TSCC was a winning series!!! It's by far better than ANY of the movie sequels. Summer plays THE best terminator ever. Great story lines, great characters, and lots of good plot twists. I only wish they had kept it going instead of cancelling.
There is NOTHING after T2. The war never happened. The end. Reese didn't have a brother either. This show is garbage. You CAN'T continue after T2, it is IMPOSSIBLE. Everything that led to SKYNET is GONE by the end of T2. There was never a way to keep going, so they came up with this bullshit it is inevitable just because they wanted money.

I liked Dollhouse in the first season. It had so much potential and they could pretty much tell any story they wanted. Then the second season rolled around and it was like "lets take all that good stuff and throw it away". What I also disliked was that we didn't see much of the body stealing that was going on except in the future set episodes. Another storyline that could have led to really inventive episodes but they just didn't do anything with. Still I would rather of had a third series of the Sarah Connor Chronicles. It would have been interesting to see who was leading the resistance in a future without John Connor. My bet would have been on Danny Dyson.

Like I said in another comment here, Dollhouse really needed a stronger actress in the lead roll. The nature of the plot demanded a lot from the people playing "dolls". I liked it a lot once the plot got rolling. There were a lot of great moments on that show and I'll always be a fan of Enver Gjokaj. He absolutely killed it every week.

Every one of the central / main supporting actors on the show did an amazing job, too. They have all been consistently very friendly with fans at conventions, too.
Some forms of ammunition can still destroy one. If a bullet has more mass and higher velocity they can potentially damage or even destroy terminators depending on what the bullet is made of and what the terminator is made of.

We're not supposed to believe that. Derek had a very strong emotional reaction to what he heard, and he wasn't thinking straight. You can clearly see that Cameron doesn't take him seriously as a threat either. She just looks at the gun and then back up at him with a "Huh, interesting! What are you trying to do here?.." kind of expression.
Such a great show to bad Fox cancel it. Sci-fi shows in Fox don't go well together. Firefly, Almost Human, Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles. The only way Orville survives as it's partially a comedy.
I don't think Fox will cancel The Orville anytime soon, it's well-received by the audience and it's a nice alternative to the other show that pretends to be Star Trek. I would've liked more seasons of TSCC though.
All Terminators have basic psychological subroutines to help them understand and defeat enemies-us. But It's been established that if a Terminator's CPU is switched from "Read" to "Learn" they can become more and more human as they interact with people and the world around them and learn more, such as the T-888 in Terminator 2. Cameron seems a long way beyond that to me, whether or not she was modelled on and learnt from the human her model is based on. Plus, she was almost certainly designed, built and programmed expressly to get close to John Connor and terminate him by Skynet-yet here she is, back before the Machine War, protecting teenage John Connor. We'll never find out how that happened.. Also, when Cameron's CPU was damaged by the car bomb, she defaulted to her original programming and did her best to kill John. They have to remove her CPU chip to stop her, despite significant damage from the explosion. When John reboots her, she is within arms reach and he's right in front of her. The Order which appears on her data feed is "Terminate John Connor"-but she aborts it. A decision she made. Is she actually independent from Skynet with the help of 2029 John's reprogramming? Again, we'll never know. Considering the fact that most Terminators we saw in this show were burly men, due to the simple fact T-888 are walking tanks? Infiltrator model or not, she isn't the obvious choice to protect the young John, as the mounting damage she suffers in the show illustrates. There must have been a very specific reason the John of 2029 sent her back. Maybe even a close personal relationship? The way she behaved around the teenage John made me think she was trying to draw him in close, maybe even seduce him with little idea what she was doing. He seemed to be responding to that, as well. She wanted John on her side for her factions good, Terminators who didn't truly obey Skynet. But we'll never get an answer to that, either. The acting was really good in this show, with Summer Glau and Lena Headey easily the standouts. The plots were clever and the story complicated without getting ridiculous when time travel is involved. The Terminators themselves were well-portrayed for a tv show. But it was replaced by, what, Dollhouse? NOT worth it. One last thing: a rumour has been circulating for some time that Cameron was the original AI that eventually becomes Skynet itself, after the people Mile Dyson's son is working for get their hands on her and try to pick apart her programming and code to figure out how she works and where she comes from. Even when. They had no idea what they were doing nor what they were dealing with, Skynet of 2029's work is simply beyond their ability to even grasp, so all they succeeded in doing was driving poor Cameron insane before the Connor's could find and rescue her. But a copy of her "escaped" onto the internet and evolved there into what eventually became Skynet, so far away from what she once was even she didn't remember as the files were corrupted. She just wanted peace, freedom and the death of everyone who could hurt her again... We'll never know.
Technically he could actually kill or possibly disable her if he knows where to shoot, but he would have to be very quick and very skilled to pull it off. He should have been aiming for her chip. Seeing as the cover can be removed with something as simple as a screw driver with minimal physical effort, the sheer force from gun shot aimed at a precise angle could possibly dislodge the cap and expose the chip, giving him an extremely short window for a second shot (aimed precisely at the chip) that would kill her right then and there. Also he could aim for the back of the neck, where her visual systems can be deactivated. That would at least give him a chance to escape should he fail in killing her. I’m probably reading way too deep into this scenario tho.
Cameron could tare Derek into tiny little peaces if she wanted to! Derek wasn't a threat to her, even with the pistol. Besides Derek is an ally, who wants to protect John, too. So Cameron allowed Derek to shove her arround. Spoilers!!!: This scene and the fact that Cameron saves Derek from capture of Kaliba-agents, shows that the hostile relationship between Derek and her got better at the end. Shortly after that, Derek was getting killed in action.
Well, if someone is standing in a natural stance and isn't resisting you can push them around even if they are significantly stronger and heavier than you. She only has two points of contact with the ground (her feet) right next to each other and he is pushing against her torso. As long as its not in a combat stance or holding onto something a human should be able to push, shove or with some techniques (especially those which include lifting the opponent) even take a terminator down to the ground in hand to hand combat. They just dont because that would mean getting within arms reach. And I would assume that she cant be that much heavier than a same size human, otherwise all you would have to do to detect terminators would be making everyone step on a scale before you let them in your camp.
I always thought her line was incomplete. When Derrick put the pistol under her chin, the line should have been "You can't kill me with that". Not "you can't kill me".
Considering what it takes to put one of those things down permanently and the technology available in the past, "you can't kill me" is pretty accurate. Unless he ambushes her with explosions in some way, there is pretty much zero chance of putting her down.
I get Derek is angry, but really, using a simple handgun? He's got like what, 10 years experience fighting Terminators, he should know it's equivalent to a rubber band, lol.

When they canceled this for dollhouse I quit watching TV for like 2 years. This was a good show. Dollhouse was not

The acting was really good in this show, with Summer Glau and Lena Headey easily the standouts. The plots were clever and the story complicated without getting ridiculous when time travel is involved. The Terminators themselves were well-portrayed for a tv show. But it was replaced by, what, Dollhouse? NOT worth it.
One last thing: a rumour has been circulating for some time that Cameron was the original AI that eventually becomes Skynet itself, after the people Mile Dyson's son is working for get their hands on her and try to pick apart her programming and code to figure out how she works and where she comes from. Even when.
They had no idea what they were doing nor what they were dealing with, Skynet of 2029's work is simply beyond their ability to even grasp, so all they succeeded in doing was driving poor Cameron insane before the Connor's could find and rescue her. Technically he could actually kill or possibly disable her if he knows where to shoot, but he would have to be very quick and very skilled to pull it off. He should have been aiming for her chip. Seeing as the cover can be removed with something as simple as a screw driver with minimal physical effort, the sheer force from gun shot aimed at a precise angle could possibly dislodge the cap and expose the chip, giving him an extremely short window for a second shot (aimed precisely at the chip) that would kill her right then and there. Also he could aim for the back of the neck, where her visual systems can be deactivated. That would at least give him a chance to escape should he fail in killing her. I’m probably reading way too deep into this scenario tho.
would not work the cap just protects the twist cap holding the chip but the twist cap is really tick and would protect from that small a round

Cameron could tare Derek into tiny little peaces if she wanted to! Derek wasn't a threat to her, even with the pistol. Besides Derek is an ally, who wants to protect John, too. So Cameron allowed Derek to shove her arround.

This scene and the fact that Cameron saves Derek from capture of Kaliba-agents, shows that the hostile relationship between Derek and her got better at the end.
Shortly after that, Derek was getting killed in action.

Well, if someone is standing in a natural stance and isn't resisting you can push them around even if they are significantly stronger and heavier than you. She only has two points of contact with the ground (her feet) right next to each other and he is pushing against her torso. As long as its not in a combat stance or holding onto something a human should be able to push, shove or with some techniques (especially those which include lifting the opponent) even take a terminator down to the ground in hand to hand combat. They just dont because that would mean getting within arms reach.
And I would assume that she cant be that much heavier than a same size human, otherwise all you would have to do to detect terminators would be making everyone step on a scale before you let them in your camp.
smolkafilip in the t2 book arnies character weighed 800lbs so Cameron would probly weigh 500-600lbs.
I always thought her line was incomplete. When Derrick put the pistol under her chin, the line should have been "You can't kill me with that". Not "you can't kill me".
Considering what it takes to put one of those things down permanently and the technology available in the past, "you can't kill me" is pretty accurate. Unless he ambushes her with explosions in some way, there is pretty much zero chance of putting her down.
Always best to get bad news from a heartless killing machine.

Просто пока Дерек и Кайл, как и все дети в будущем росли, они видели всегда терминатора, как врага, а раз даже Коннора некоторые не жаловали из-за перепрограммирования, и бунтовали, как Джесси, не понимая смысла того, что делает их лидер, а действуя только по стереотипу, раз машина, значит уничтожить её. Их винить в этом сложно, для них они враги, а Коннор пытается выйграть любыми способами.
