I've watched Buried... the ending was just heartbreaking... The movie itself is well made and Reynolds plays it believingly, imo. It would also be one of my most feared ways to die, it's just devastating.
That would be such a horrible way to go. Everytime I hear about being buried alive it reminds me of this case I saw mrballen do. It's the Carol and Reggie Sumner case where they were murdered by being kidnapped and buried alive together. Many cases are sad, but that case is truly gut wrenching to hear what they went through in their last moments.
@@knowhatnot347 I didn't want to give away too many details in case someone wanted to watch the video, but now that I think about it I don't think it'll take away from it regardless! the space suits have a little airlock where astronauts put rocks in to study in the lunar module. maybe the spider managed to find a way inside once the airlock was closed
One of Buried's kidnapping conditions didn't make sense. If Paul's kidnappers were standing over his grave, there'd be no reason not to trace the call, nor a reason to dig as their presence would mark Paul's location. On the other hand, were his kidnappers to lie to him and the FBI about hovering over his burial site, then Paul could take the risk and try escaping. Also, was that snake already in the coffin with him? If not, how deep do snakes burrow into sand? That could be a clue as to how deep Paul is buried in the sand, thus making escape either more or less desirable.
Tucker and dale vs evil is probably one of my favorites. Especially since I stumbled across it by accident back when I first got Netflix. Thought it was a true horror movie but had a ton of fun watching it
Oh mahn I watched Buried a while back but I'm tempted to rewatch because its one of Ryan Reynolds' very few unique performances. He has been playing himself for so long lmao...
Without a doubt. 100% the worst punishment is what happens to the guy captured by the couple in the movie "the tortured." It's a really messed up movie by the production company that made Saw series. One of those movies that leaves you depressed by the end of it.

@@_cqt It's been a long time since I watched the movie, but if I remember correctly, the kidnappers also buried a second person a while ago (probably dead by now), who the police knew about. At the end of the movie, the coffin of the main character is slowly filling with dirt, as the coffin is slowly breaking apart (because he was trying to break out of it somehow, IIRC). The police told him via call, that they found the location of a buried person, so main char thinks he's gonna be saved. As it turns out, it wasn't the location of the main character, but the second, already dead person, which results in the main character suffocating by all of the sand and dirt thats coming into his coffin.
Ok i just watched it and holy shit that was actually so funny. Its really not scary i guess kinda disgusting with the deaths but other than that the movie was a gem and absolutely hilarious
the cryochamber death in freaky was spoiled in the trailers, as was mr bernardi's death by buzzsaw, which is unfortunate. however, i thought that the death you were going to bring up was one of the high schoolers in the opening sequence, who gets a glass bottle shoved through his throat and shattered on impact. that death made me sick, it was a brilliant one but also kinda disgusting.
The cryo-chamber death in Freaky reminded me of a similar one in a thriller called Mindhunters. Christian Slater is frozen so quickly and solidly that his legs snap off and his midsection breaks upon hitting the ground, all while he's still alive. It's an oddly fucked up scene.
Maybe because of Stephen King and Dean Koontz novels I found Black Phone very predictable and a little boring. I even turned to my gf at the boy's escape attempt and said, "He's not getting away before the final ghost visits him. We still haven't seen his best friend.".
