I want you to know that I found this video a few months back and it convinced me to start the Yakuza series which I did about a month ago with 0. I'm now on 5 and just saw that scene. This is the greatest game series ever. Thank you so much lol
Cool story bro time: This reminds me of about ten years ago - I was holiday in Australia. Outside Australia zoo there was this troupe of street gymnasts. Five or six young American guys. The show was about to start and they were just hyping up the crowd - so lots of shouting, trying to get people to come over, getting everyone riled up and ready to watch some backflips. After ten long LONG minutes of "OKAY GUYS ARE YOU REAAAADY FOR SOME ACCCTIOOOON?!?" one of the dudes finally hit play on the tape machine, and the first guy did a huge run up and launched into an incredible multiple 360 front flip twirling double axle... faceplant right into the concrete. Objectively the funniest thing I've seen in my life, but you didn't dare laugh... which was even funnier cause you know everyone was thinking the same thing: "This brother really flew all the way across the Pacific just to fuck his face up at 10 in the morning in front of a confused emu." The crowd slowly melting away in embarrassed silence is something I'll never forget. Man, I hope that guy is okay.

I feel so bad but when she fell in the water my first thought was "well she should be bouyant at least" 😭😭 I mean homegirl could bounce off the pavement like a ball full of air but couldn't float in a calm river? Most realistic side event in Yakuza franchise, 10/10.
I don't know what's worse: the fact that her arms are disproportionate with her body size, or the fact that Haruka immediately went "That's rad" after this.
Out of everything in this video, I think the weirdest part is imagining what the riders in that covered boat she bounced off of must have thought when the canopy bows in a ton, snaps back out, and all they hear are the exclamations of an obese woman bouncing through the air.

They just can, it's the perfect mix between great storytelling and stupidly good comedic timing, also add some drama and character development, a big open world, fun minigames and fluid combat and...boom, perfect series.
Seeing the kind of punishment people can take in this series, she's probably still alive. Haruka should probably grab a long pipe or something she can grab onto so she can get out of the water.
Well, obese people in Japan is bullied and discriminated, if you are obese in Japan you only can be seen as a walking comic gag, and this is not a joke, but well, I guess it is pretty hard to be obese in a country where all the food is healthy, they kinda deserve it tho

@@Stars-Minehonestly, the Yakuza games are some of the only games I've seen to have side questlines that not only continue through the game, but continue throughout the rest of the series. Most notably are obviously the Amon clan and some other Coliseum fighters, but they even brought back other slightly less important characters for substories as well, like Pocket Circuit Fighter and Sodachi.

Bro, you should. You'll have blast. I recommend playing yakuza 0 first. Cuz it has one of the best storyline and cuz its cheap for its value. There is no particular need to play it in order. But its just make it easier to understand the story well.

This entire series is equal parts a fever dream, a hilarious sitcom, an over the top action thriller, a genuinely serious crime drama.

Yakuza is the perfect procrastination video game.
You HAVE to do the main quests sooner or later,
but every single side quest is too perfect.
The side missions are the best part of the series imo.
The side missions all being canon also helps a lot to know what is going on in the next game
The Yakuza series games are the only games where the main quests are side quests and the side quests are main quests.
@@Stars-Minehonestly, the Yakuza games are some of the only games I've seen to have side questlines that not only continue through the game, but continue throughout the rest of the series. Most notably are obviously the Amon clan and some other Coliseum fighters, but they even brought back other slightly less important characters for substories as well, like Pocket Circuit Fighter and Sodachi.
Not kiwami tho kiwami side stories suck.

Bro, you should. You'll have blast. I recommend playing yakuza 0 first. Cuz it has one of the best storyline and cuz its cheap for its value. There is no particular need to play it in order. But its just make it easier to understand the story well.
@@chrismoreno7181 uhh you probably wanna play them in a general order, you can start with either 1 or 0 (although 1 isnt as heartbreaking without 0 beforehand), but after that, you probably wanna just go with 2-3-4-5-6-7. play judgment whenever
