When Kiryu said "I'm not just Kiryu, I'm the Kiwami Kiryu" I literally kiwami'd my pants
This is one of these games where you don’t have a clue whats going on 95% of the time but you enjoy every second of the wild ride
As a Yakuza stan, this video gave me the will to live for at least four more months.
But you must wait a couple years for Dunkey’s Kiwami 2 video…it’ll come
Didn't try the Yakuza series till about 5 years ago, have played them all now and I love them even though they are very similar it's just so much goofy fun with a deadly serious story line.
When he stabbed Kimichi or whatever with the scimitar I really felt the friendship they shared since the second game where he breaks his neck.
The Mad Kimchi of Shimano, Patriarch of the Bulgogi Family.
toy car racing game with a dramatic plotline side quest
“I don’t have anytime to worry about him.”
*Walks away incredibly slowly*
As ridiculous as Yakuza games are, they always manage to tug on my heart strings.
the slot announcer is truly tragic
Yakuza 0 made me cry manly tears
Dunkey is the one who got me into Yakuza with his 0 review a few years ago. I’ve now played all the mainline games. Thank you Dunk❤
Same!! Never would I have guessed that 1 video would change my life so drastically
This Yakuza guy is really good friends with everybody in Japan.
goddamnit I'm gonna have to play this masterpiece again. This series is gold
I've been playing through this series recently, currently on 5. They really are fantastic games, blending tones masterfully.
Some times dunkey creates the art in his videos, sometimes he just curates it and lets the art speak for itself. What a masterpiece
I was so moved when Kiryu said “It’s Kiwami time!” before he performed karaoke.
0:53 he actually came back after 10 years. Amazing continuity in these fighting games
Come back in 10 years.
This feels like a return to 2012 dunkey, I love it
I just realized that the Majima death from 8:40 was from House of the dead 2. Another sega title. I believe it was the fishman boss with the spear.
This is honestly such a comfort game for me for as crazy as it is
Im really glad you've made this review, your review of yakuza 0 is literaly what got me into this yakuza franchise.
Except his Yakuza 0 review sucks because it's better than the original Yak 1-3 and he gave it a 3/5
Please do the entire series. This was just hilarious
He's done 0 & 3 before. 5 & 6 years ago respectively.
Woke up this mornin', got shot off a pier
I think that Majima actually wanted a ham and swiss
"Dumb ass Robert"... Dunkey's Humor is just untouchable. (0:28)
The Yakuza series isn't even my style of game and I still love it so much. The stories are decent but all the minigames and sidequests are where it really shines
DUNKEY X DON QUIXOTE WAS THE LEGENDARY COLLABORATION OF THIS WHOLE VIDEO LOOOOOOOOLLLLL
Never played this classic game, but I can tell this voice acting is a landmark achievement for English dubbing.
unironically tho Majima was voiced by Mark hamill
@@ALIMALI-gb6gl Dunks favorite character, the freakin Joker?
@@Mr_Spaghetti yup, sadly in the og dub he doesnt do the joker voice that he shoulda done, he just does a regular old thug voice
After finishing up the series recently myself, majima has some of the easily funniest moments and memorable moments! so much so that at the end the saddest part was I wouldn't be able to see his antics anymore
I was somewhat rooting for nishikiyama because his story was so tragic
All the bowling, breaker battles and him breaking my neck numerous times truly the greatest friendship I've ever witnessed
Amajima falling into the ocean n kiryu not checking on him was so COLD
Yakuza series is something I never originally played, but recently I bought the full series on steam and it's been a surprise how much fun it is to explore this world. I love the goofy story lines and over the top mini games. I'll just be sitting going to every crane game in the world and trying to collect them all, but then I remember there's an actual game to play. It's something everyone should give a try in my opinion.
I love seeing Dunkey having fun with this game, I'm pretty sure he appreciate all the dumb but fun stuff this game has along all the minigames, I'm glad Yakuza is finally having the recognition it deserves
Everyone's been saying it but Dunkey and SBFP got me into this amazing series, and Dunkey's finally put out a new Yakuza video, and it's 10 minutes long! I remember Dunkey streamed yakuza 7 a while back but he never finished it, hope he did off-screen!
5:07 "You can't just come here and yell some random sh*t
Dunkey: Airplane!"
"This game is a mastapiece" 2:04
