School Of Fish's eponymous album was one of the core CDs that saw me though my stint in the Air Force. Will forever be grateful and thankful for this band.
One of the best songs ever. I heard this on the radio driving to work in 1991, had no clue what it was. I was late to work because I had to wait for the DJ to say what it was. It's one of those moments I'll never forget.
I know right. I accidentally came across this from a random alarm clock through Spotify. And scratching my head , trying to figure out why I'm just now discovering this song and band. Really badass
Jeffery Lord I call it the greatest guitar riff ever. Saw em live but the accoustics at the club were awful. Greatest song nobody ever heard, but a few of us lucky ones. I was getting off on this and concrete blonds Bloodletting record and David and David's boomtown. My 3 favorite bands at the time
Holy crap they sounded better than they did on the album! Nice little moderate changeups to keep it spicy for the live version but not too intrusive to the actual original version, very nicely done gentlemen.
This has been my recovery song since 1989. For "Three Strange Days" I layed in the ICU unit unconscious. The nurse came in on the third day and asked do you know where you are? Somewhere I don't wanna be. Just one split second of my life a distracted driver changed my world for me. I will never be the same because of that one dumb fuck.
Their self titled album is LOADED with gems start to finish! The follow up album Cannonball is also a stellar album! Do yourself a favor and start at track one and GO!
Saw these guys at the Paradise Club, Boston 1991. 5 people there including the soundman's dog yet they played like it was at Boston Gardens! Great show!!
Such a great, great, great first album, makes you wonder why these things fall apart so quick. Personnel changes and too much success too fast? I Still go back and listen to that again, it blows my mind. I saw them live in Wildwood NJ, at the new convention center and got to meet them after the show signing autographs. Very cool and humble guys, wish they could've tried for a third album.
I love this song so much, ever since I heard it on the radio in 1991. It became a personal anthem for me during a troubled time I now call "three strange years" I always wondered what it would have sounded like live; glad to see this great clip!
Starts at 0:54 - I found them as a recommendation when watching a music video by Radish. I don't remember hearing the name but the song sounds familiar. Possible Genre: Punk/Alternative
Eh. I love this song so much, and even though lead seemed a bit tired, that crowd was so dead. It hurt a bit that they weren't pumped up when the band was doing so well imo.
Mike I have been practicing what you taught me for 30 years or so and am ready for my next guitar lesson-from, one of the fish. do you still accept fries for lessons? oh and thanks for telling me bout johnny cash.

I bought the c.d. after I heard this on the radio the first time and there are some other great songs on it that never got the air time.
Musically - the structure of this Song is Absolutely Perfect. Just Love it .
Thanks for posting! Not many live footage captures of SOF gigs. Amazing band and songwriting - RIP JCF. You are missed!

A very tight performance. Good job guys!
Great tune and I don't know why but the line "and johnny clueless was there with his simulated woodgrain' just gives me a chuckle.......
There's a band called Johnny Clueless. Not sure which came first.
@@sschmidtevaluethis song, then the band. The band is from MN, as was Michael, the guitar player, originally.

Ummm, their lead singer got cancer. That's why these things fall apart so quick.
@@lyndraski4152 hi Lyndra, he didn't get cancer till well after their second album.
You brought so much joy with your music and love. Josh, you will always be the song in my heart.

What a fantastic song!!! Very unique!
The real inventors of grunge right here 😁
Dam they nailed this live! I’d of been going bonkers in that crowd...
Great live version. RIP Josh
Gran banda de rock alternativo de los 90's...lastima que ya murió el vocalista 😓 R.I.P.
awesome band and song
What a Gem!!! Brilliant!
Stp core, Thank you so much for posting this live version of 3 Strange Days. Can you send my sister + me back to our age in 1991? That'd be awesome!

In Memorian
I'm just wondering why i never heard this song until now. This is badass
cool stuff.
I saw them with 311 dada and strangely enough stp during their core album. Sof blew them all out of the water.
3:46 a little tip of the hat to Hendrix. RIP Michael Ward and Jimi.
Best riff in the history of riffs

Pretty fuzzy video quality. Just like my memory of seeing them live. Awesome band!

418 ??? Unreal !!!
Did anyone in the crowd even have a pulse?
. . lol ... They look like a bunch of grazing cows , just standing there !
¿alguien te tenga , una entrevista que le hacen a ellos ? Y pueda subirla por fa 😍😘😗
Way ahead of their time!! They were already playing 90's alt rock with all this 80s crap hahaha
Mike I have been practicing what you taught me for 30 years or so and am ready for my next guitar lesson-from, one of the fish. do you still accept fries for lessons? oh and thanks for telling me bout johnny cash.
Was this in New jersey
Sh!t, Yeah!
Guitar sounds very similar to The Cult's She Sells Sanctuary...
Passed way too early. What if he hadn’t been taken by cancer?
