How did I live the past 30 years without knowing this exists? Absolutely damned phenomenal. What a great freaking band. "3 Strange Days" and "Take Me Anywhere" were two of the catchiest, most infectious songs of my college years. I'll fight anyone on that.
Saw them in Nashville at their prime...they played this and Let's Pretend We're Married by Prince and they BLEW THE ROOF OFF THAT CLUB!!! The crowd was just so happy leaving because they BROUGHT IT that night!!! RIP Josh🖤
Got to see them play at the Ritz ( ? ) in New York back in 1991. A girl invited me and I'd never heard of them so I rushed out and bought the tape, memorized it and went to the show. They played Father Figure and it blew me away. Mike Ward is an unreal guitar talent. The whole band just shined. Josh is missed and now, so is George Michael.
Saw them play this at the Stone Pony in 91. My friends band, 58K, opened. Blown away and bought the CD the next day. Been listening for 30 years and it hasn’t gotten old.
All I know is where in the hell was I when these guys were in their prime?!! I just started to listen to School of fish, and I'm just blown away! And what a sad disappointment to learn that Josh has since past. Well better late than never, and they are still amazing!!

That was the Marquee maybe? I was at that show, they certainly played Father Figure + House of Freaks opened I think. SO GOOD!
I miss these guys so much. Josh died wayyyy too soon.

Played this version in a cover band from '96 to '00, it freaked people out the first time they heard it. But it was one of our more requested songs.
I saw them at the Marquee in NYC in 1991 with House of Freaks. They played this song & tore the house down. Just a really great band🤘
I saw these guys live in San Francisco back in the nineties. They covered this song and it kicked ass.

Check out Josh's solo albums. Some beautiful work.
Sorry to say Michael Ward has also passed.
I still have this radio only promo cd. Contains some killer live versions from their debut as well as this great cover.
