@PapaDoe Look at the video. There is not a single Delta ramp employee wearing a hard hat. My 36 years at a major carrier I have escorted plenty of people on the ramp. I have never seen a hard hat used at any carrier for anyone. Safety vest only.
Most of those workers such as ramp agent or agents or flight attanent are not even delta people, most of them belong to third party vendors! Why, because I worked in Delta for 10 years and I still a contractor!
How ridiculous the reporter is wearing a hard hat. This ramp isn’t a construction zone, we don’t wear hard hats dude.
