- Welcome, friends, to the most devious scam Tropico 6 has ever seen. Today I, The Spiffing Brit, will be setting up my island dictatorship in this tycoon simulator game with a twist. My goal is to lure as many people to the island as possible then send all of our population to jail. Once we have built a prison island our economy will be broken and we can profit off of the convict labour. Now we wont just rely on our own population but also the tourism industry that will be providing an endless stream of wealthy foreign tourists that we can introduce to our tourist trap that they will never escape from!

I mean... It's not the highest rated place I've ever seen, but I've never heard a single bad thing about this island from anyone that went there. So it can't be that bad right? And look at the brochures, free room and board, vibrant multicultural paradise with brand new high rise apartments and robust public services! Even the tagline is great "once you arrive youll feel like you can never leave!". Honey, I think this vacation is gonna be perfect, its so cheap it's like they're paying to get us there!
Imagine a bunch of guys sail up to Istanbul, put the Hagia Sophia on their boat, and then sail away without anyone doing anything about it.

This video is so incredibly funny and ironic.Spiff played prison architect, but made a tree/ tea farming simulator. He plays tropico 6 that has farming as a main point, and turns it into a prison island 😂 I love this so much!!!🤣

I'm imagining the negative upkeep costs on those Apartments are because you actually opened the world's largest Trade School for Firemen (with a focus on preventative measures through Building inspectors). People fly from all over the world and pay you exorbitant tuition to study fire safety, modern earthquake stability methods, and run daily exercises in your vast complex of test facilities.

Not necessary. First of all: new buildings can be incredible soundproof. And second: if there is no emergency, fire trucks don´t use the siren. And even if there is an alarm, they normally only start the siren, when they need it. (In case of high speed and a crossing, and so on.). I worked a few years close to a fire station in a small city. Where there is very little fire alarm. In two years i heard them once. And then i just closed the window. And didn´t heard them anymore.
That's where the money comes from. People are paying to not have to live there

I love this island. The ship I was on mysteriously sank from an explosion, but some pirates saved me. I was given the best job ever, taking all of the coffee beans and throw them right into the ocean.
I love that the devs allow you to exploit basically every feature of tropico, its basically an absurdly immersive exploit simulator :P

So I assume I'll get arrested, use my get out of jail card, then get arrested again immediately after leaving the prison.
By going to jail you lose your job.
Unemployment is illegal and punishable by jail time.
Use of a Get Out of Jail Free card is punishable by 10 years imprisonment and a fine not exceeding Band C on the Standard Scale

Played tropico 5 coop with my friend. Discovered i could declare war on him, so i built up an army. The moment i attacked he was switching from a democracy to a full on dictatorship. Upon signing his constitution he suddenly saw tanks roaming his streets. To this day he still believes his citizens instantly revolted against him.

@@jordybridges4999 there is incentive in incarcerating criminals. The easiest way to not be a criminal is simply to not be a criminal. I don't give a flying fvck what color they are.
@@MidwestFarmToys yes we both agree that there's an incentive to incarcerate criminals but also there's a lot of people who are discriminated against and end up being pressured to accept plea bargains when they are innocent. There are definitely dirty cops out there who don't care about innocence but rather oppressing minorities.
