That achieve is almost at 9% now spiff wow.. also..can confirm 100% you can get it by just saving at 11:50 pm waiting for the day to tick over, and then reloading 24 times XD perfectly balanced.
Their code just increments progress on day end and (presumably) resets if you get a game over, when it should be setting progress on the end of each day and giving achievement on Day 24
The 9% wasn't spiffs doing. He made this video awhile ago. At least before may because Beijing isn't a recommended city at the start which was added in May.
I think the achievements counter is looking for an event like the day ticking over. It not actually counting the days. So it's simply give achievements when counter hit 24. Add 1 when time is 00:01 or something. It's a quick a dirty programming job.
So as someone who has programmed a save system before, I'm assuming that the game saves achievement progress independently of game progress. When a day passes, it increments that counter by one and is probably only checking some ID programmed into the save file to let it do so. So when the game crashes, you go back in time, that value is still where it's at. When the next day passes it says to itself, "Same save file? No deaths? Looks good to me." Then, rather than checking what day you're on like a sensible system should do, it simply increments the achievement value again.

Edinburgh castle houses the Scottish National War Museum. There are loads of guns in it. Although they may be deactivated and there probably isn't any ammo for them. It also has a lot of swords and stuff, so you could probably get traditional with your zombie slaying if it came down to it.
I can't ever recall seeing Spiff expertly exploit a game only to uncover an even more exquisite exploit in the process. I raise my cup of tea to you sir! Well done!

Bro you should have done York, if the map actually works. Then you have the bar walls. Literal fortifications built by the Romans that still guard the city to this day
If York worked it would e great. THe most important things are within those walls. And the weekends are full of drunken students so the locals have experience with zombies. For a smaller map Windsor would work as well IMO especially with the barracks right next to the castle pretty much.
I’m glad this concept from an old flash game made it big. Think it was called “outbreak” or something. Remember playing it over a decade ago. Same concept. Map of earth generates zombies. Originally just a simulator but later added ability to control characters and add things into the map.
I can't help but feel that the devs did not plan, expect, or intend for anyone to reach the incident with the tank, given that it didn't know how to attack walls. Thank you for bending the game over in an entertaining way and accidentally doubling down on the exploits.

Hey if you want a really amazing location to do this. that doesn't use any exploit except that zombies are slower in water. Then I highly highly recommend coast guard island in San Francisco. There's a coast guard base between Alameda island and Oakland. It only has one way in and it's a very long curved bridge. Anything attacking gets pulled off the bridge and spends forever walking through waster slowly to get to you. Hope this help people 😊
While I'm not British (yet), it was super fun to watch this as a guy actually living in Edinburgh and recognizing the locations. Also, I'm taking my "Life in the UK" test the next weekend, which if passed, I'll get one step closer of becoming a tea loving British citizen myself.

not sure if the walls would work. The system they use to gen the maps can sometimes breakdown and not represent walls or fortifications well
