Spiffs banter has been getting noticably better these past weeks. Theres few channels that make me laugh out loud as much as you, mate. Keep up the amazing content
As a Landlord, I can confirm I own a TWAT card. It takes a lot of training and time to get. You have to spend 4 weeks as a prison guard followed by 2 weeks on a placement as part of a debt collecting agency. You also get a chance to refurbish a house, into the worst piece of shit you can. To finish off you spend a week at one of those outdoor team building camps with other potential landlords screaming at them and trying to convince them to sign the sneakiest contracts one can create!
It was only a matter of time before the spiffing Brit got his hands on the tenants. Sure it's fun to have UA-camrs like seniac playing the tenants the correct way, but there is special about watching someone exploit a game in a video. Landlords love jacking up prices and refusing to fix things to kick people out so they can break contracts without having to the tenant but have the tenant pay them so they can renvote the place and sell the building for 3x what the paid for making people homeless and broke. Landlords in major cities do it every day they will shut off the electricity, heat and water to force ya out and then make ya pay them 3x your rent payment to get out of your lease. hell ive seen people do that in my hometown who were individual landlords for houses just cuz they didnt feel like sending money on a plumber/roofer/electrician to fix a major problem. they know most people dont have the time or money to waste in court to sue them so they get away with it. which is why its now impossible to own a house in america/england/canada and probably other countries without being rich already, winning the lottery or getting an pay out from an accident or an inheritance. people say tenants are just lazy and need to get better jobs but its kinda hard to do that in a recession, increase schooling costs and the fact 80% of most people's paychecks are going to housing and most people work 2 jobs now.

"...we need as much money as possible. Money is going to be very important to us." - Spiffing Brit
What an absolute shock. I would never have guessed.
I am less than 10 seconds in and this sounds like California rent prices already. I can tell this is going to be a good video
just 45 seconds in you managed to break my headset with your voice. like how even? it still works fine on anything but this video of yours
"These people are willing to pay 1520 dollars per month for what is effectively the tiniest box in the universe"
People living in New York: "What a deal!"
@The Spiffing Brit, first of all I got to say I absolutely love all your video's! You haven't changed a bit, ceep it up! But I suffer from epilepsy, and the flashing effects on 11:30 and 26:52 were a bit to much for me. I love the video editing overal, so don't take it as a bad comment. Is just wanted to let you know
- much love,

Spiffs banter has been getting noticably better these past weeks. Theres few channels that make me laugh out loud as much as you, mate. Keep up the amazing content
The whisky is like

The funny thing is, most of the exploits that the spiffing Brit displays, are never fixed. They must say, I love it when spiffing Brit exploits reality.
I see Spiff is cornering the rental market in perfectly... Ahem. 'Legal' ways.
@SCP - 1669 - 46 That's devious and underhanded. I LOVE it!
That moment when "the most basic house" looks better than your actual house you're watching this in 😭
Having tried to rent property in London, I can confirm that is in fact how it works there.
Based on the opening alone, this has to be the most realistic game on the market
TERRY TYCOON WAS THE GREATEST LANDLORD IVE EVER HAD! He is a truly majestic human being
Im absolutely convinced all of the landlords that ive met have used this as their tutorial to learn how to be a landlord....
World hunger? Just eat food!
I spat out my Yorkshire tea at that one..
After watching "Lets game it out" for a while with very similar concept then finding this channel which is similar just british, i love it haha watched several vids within the span of 3 days
Finally a documentary
At 14:20 the devs inserted a character who is 21 years old and make 80k/year, this is a subtle nod to the fact that the game is fictional
Congratulations! You are literally just doing what happens in real life!
The beard, the tophat, the expression.
Thats what I would find in classic movies where this man is that rich villain.
Not Landlord. Except Lord sounds tough.
hey spiff I have an idea for a banner lord video: Banner lord Impossible mode. : First things first bring up the console commands incase you dont know how to do so you press alt and that squiggly line top left of your keyboard at the same time. first so you an actually do this type in config.cheat_mode 1 After you did that type in: campaign.start_world_war i think you know what happened next ;)
There are unironically no exploits in this video, thats just how some landlords operate.
*some?*
"Greatest fantasy of all; the ability to own a house."
Oof, I felt that one in my soul.
@Hakim Habib I can't tell if you're joking or not. Too tired....
oh, you are simulating nowadays UK? great video lol
London rental market simulator
I love how the most optimal way to play this game is to act like a real landlord
“He’s paying more then half of his yearly wage in rent” sounds so realistic.
“We simply won’t pay our bills.”
-Spiff 2021
“I don’t pay taxes I’m rich.”

The Legion of Corporate Doom!
“I don’t pay taxes I’m rich.”

Spiff secretly had a game made so he could show us how to use the actual land owner system in real life...one of the sacred real life secrets he wanted to show us
Usually when spiff does these it’s wildly unrealistic. This though, you coulda told me he was a real landlord
I think this is the most accurate and realistic game ever.
paying 708 bones a month for a room is giving me flashbacks to my university housing
“ That is what every artist needs access to large quantities of alcohol“ as an artist can confirm!!
God, I laughed out loud the moment that guy refused to pay less even though it was way more than you can offer 🤣
I almost snorted tea through my nose man your monotone delivery of all jokes keeps catching me by surprise
19:05 this is triggering my ptsd over current rent prices in America lol
One doesn’t experience self-transcendence, the illusion of self only dissipates🎈
For some reason despite the stellar quality and patented SpiffCo humor this video made me sad:( Like I'm tired of laughing at how bad things can get and can't escape this thoughts even in free time...
I was not expecting all the landlord burns but my god do I approve. Spiff being based lmao
*extremely*
I love that this video is essentially one half-hour long roast about how landlords are literally parasites of society.
Social leeches
I don't understand the hate towards landlords..
Like is it an English/American thing or something
Just curious
@@funnychanisback7679 its cuz theyre the reason why it costs so much just to rent a shitty studio not even in a minor city much less major. and ya cant live in the country any more its 2k in the middle of bumfuck no where for a 1 bedroom apartment where i live. and thats just renting. im not paying 1M for a rundown house with no yard that only has 2 bedrooms and a single bathroom and a shed for a garage thats a 2 hr commute to work.
@@funnychanisback7679It's because people think the government owes them a house for free.
@@aaa232ds21No, most people wouldn't mind paying mortgages.
It's just incredibly hard to get accepted for even a shitty house unless you have a 20% down-payment. Goodluck having that when you start out at ground zero with no family to help you.
The best is when you think you may have a house, and some big investment firm buys it up for 20k over the asking price because they know they're going to instantly start reaping profits once they rent it out.
For the first time EVER!, I have sit down with a cup of tea to watch your show, LOVE IT

Landlord is exactly the type of job Spiff would take if he didn't become a youtuber
Nah, they’re not allowed to have a sense of humor
The rent is about right but the rooms need to be smaller to fully reflect the reality.
I can't believe they made a game where you can specifically play as a landlord. Isn't playing as Hitler in HOI4 enough?
Thank heavens! Haven't even watched the video yet and I'm already thrilled to bits! Played this for over a month before giving up so HOPE Sir Spiff has easy-to-follow directions for getting ahead in this silly game :D
Why do I feel like this is the worst war crimes you've ever committed? I mean, I've never felt this bad after watching one of your videos.
Bravo. Keep it up!
Terry Tycoon was kind enough to let me sell on of my kidneys to him to cover half of last month’s rent.
Although having only one kidney has proven to make the infinite whiskey bar twice as effective, it has made working nearly impossible…and rent is nearly due.
