I don’t own a C6 ZR1 but I have worked on a modified one at my shop. I have never heard the supercharger whine on it. All I heard was all the screaming bald eagles from the exhaust. 😂
It's definitely audible in the beginning before the active exhaust valves opened up and the wind undercut the sound. The Go Pro camera was literally on top of it on the carbon fiber hood. The camera picked up the sound nicely. By design, the twin roots rotor style superchargers are not as loud as twin screw or scroll type blowers.
Do you get a little while at idle ? I do on mine and wasn't sure if its normal i mainly hear it with hood up or windows down and its not loud just loud enough to hear.
Unfortunately, the wind played a factor in hampering the supercharger sound. Currently working on getting a microphone to mount on each vehicle to capture the sound better. By design four lobe root style, superchargers are not as loud in the vehicle.
