@@theengineer2017 Yeah I saw a demo done of that kind of spike strip. I think Australia. It's remotely controlled, which is the real advantage. The driver would not know it's there since no police need to be close to it. And it automatically springs back into itself so no other vehicles, like squads, get spiked. Definitely those would be way more accessible and easier to deploy at the right time than grapplers, which require the squad with them installed, to get close enough to use them. What I wonder is how did we not think of remote controlled spike strips long ago? Seems like we were not thinking outside the box on this one.

From the heart-pounding chase through the narrow streets of Brazil to the high-speed pursuit in Estonia, every moment kept me on the edge of my seat. It's astonishing to see how officers use innovative tactics like spike strips and the grappler to apprehend suspects safely. This video truly highlights the dedication and resourcefulness of our police forces.
I have seen something that’s a cross between the grappler and a spike strip, it’s a Kevlar net with a row of spikes along one edge, you lay it out like a spike strip but when a vehicle runs it over, the spikes latch onto the tyre and wrap the net around the front wheels and axle, preventing the vehicle from steering and quickly bringing it to a stop. It’s still being tested but it could be quite effective if it gets approved for use.
This just shows how much training and dedication goes into being a motorcycle cop. Their ability to maintain control at high speeds and still respond to situations is incredible! Hats off to those who protect and serve! 🙌

It's easier for suspect to go to new locations , but harder for cop
@@froebelrebello51 I think it's the contrary since the cop is just following him but if you mean that the cop wouldn't know the streets then yeah
As an Estonian, I'm quite surprised, that something interesting has actually happened here.
lol
But he did mess up the birthday of the country :D
🤣
That bike chase was jaw dropping and absolutely amazing. Both are talented drivers, but the cop had to think fast not knowing which way the guy was going to go. Way more amazing than anything Hollywood could come up with.
The motorcycle chase was incredible.
Full props to the pillion though, she moved right on time, when required.
When they hit that speed bump I almost fell out of my chair. Mad skills both of them.

His passenger had a Brazilian Butt-Lift!!

Mad respect for both cyclists
everybody is appreciating the cop skills on the bike but one needs to commend the talent of biking by the thief as well
Lmao the look of disbelief on the first clip when they turn around after a while and the officer is like: hey there how you doing ?
Lol.😂😂😂😂
I need to slow down the video to confirm it lol
“Reeled her in like a drunken tuna” 😂
I’ve watched 1 million of these videos and I’ve never seen a grappler that seems to be the most effective. These cops are amazing.
These grappler devices should be standard in all police departments
I've watched a few of these. That design is perfect!
@@mrcryptozoic817 Testing shows it doesn't work unless under certain conditions
@@mrcryptozoic817 Although there are designs for better spike strips that are remote operated rather than the hand tossed ones, it launches the spike strip using I believe a small explosive charge and than some sort of spring or motor to drag it back in
@@theengineer2017 Yeah I saw a demo done of that kind of spike strip.
@@Yosetime Nope search it up there's a version from 6 years ago with some even older, I think it's probably because it counts as an explosive device do to the charge that the officers would need some level of certification
That bike chase was better than Hollywood
Bro. My heart was in throat for the girl
In India this is common, but no cops to chase u though😂
The motorcycle officer should be called by Hollywood for some movies
I have driven bikes, years ago, and noticed while watching the bike chase that I was banking with the driver in the video.... that is how riveting this was.
Kudos to the cop. But you are right, the passenger was so "one with the driver" that they have done this before.
I’ve spent time as a passenger. All 3 were amazing but she was just the absolute perfect passenger. She just melted into him and became they became “one”. Really impressive.
@@wegotgame I really miss riding but the insurance on a bike and a car is just too much.
If it weren't for the passenger, he could get away. The passenger weigh make the bike slower.

@@jojojimys police man was giving commands on the radio and telling his and the thugs position the whole time, while also making sure not to endanger anyone else, I've seen my fair share of chases, they got lucky they lasted this long, they usually crash into a curb after getting surprised by a car while taking a turn

fiquei impressionando com os gringos elogiando os policiais nas motos, realmente é muita habilidade
Ngl, that spike throw was clean
At the bike chase i'm not sure who has the bigger skill. The suspect being able to drive like this with a second person on the bike, or the officer for keeping up with the suspect AND actually catching them in the end.
But that both didnt crash is probably the most incredible part.
And the Grappler is probably the best invention to stop a pursuit EVER. That thing should be used world wide.
The officer on the motorcycle has God mode activated. Effort appreciated 👏
The big booty saved that passenger 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Weirdo
She also had mad skills as a rider.
Trooper cools as SHI!
It does take more skill than people think to ride pillion. You need to be able to move with the rider and the bike so you don't upset the centre of balance. She was clearly very experienced or a born natural as some are.
Seeeeeemp
Seeing this really makes me appreciate skilled and responsible drivers even more.
Fabulous bike chase. Huge amount of skill displayed by the cop and the other rider.

Fantastic Brazilian motorbike cop. Truly incredibly flawless skillful driving and bravery. Well done. Hope he got Cop of the Decade Award for Brazil.
Sadly they pay him poorly as every police officer here, and like 80% of our motorcycle cops has that level of skills. You would be amazed by other chases. ohh forgot that, if the cop crashes the bike he pays for it ...😕😢
@@caldevill Wow. Unbelievable. How undervalued Brazilian cops are. Where does tax money go?
@@drew9312 that's the greatest question of the universe lol, we are taxed for everything, sometimes twice for the same thing, we do have riches in soil and people but ..well... govern... always the govern ... they are magicians, the money always fade away and they always need more. We are kinda in a hamster wheel, same politicians apply (the bad ones) for election and always we can only choose the lesser evil between two of them. I think that's the hole plot around here, dumber we force them to be, easier to get votes with a last minute "friendly hand" giving them some treats in exchange of a vote. Hence the wheel where those dumb bike riders with poor education get in, and most of them not by choice ... the govern fails them badly. It's just sad, we are like living in an ideological and cultural kind of apartheid. And cops, firefighters and public doctors, mostly work for the love of the profession, sy the big text, be safe out there 😊👍
I'm from Brazil, this video of the biker running away from the GCM is fantastic, they are both great getaway pilots hahaha 😂
Those dashcam videos can be quite intense! It's fascinating to see the creative tactics police use to apprehend suspects.
Absolutely jaw-dropping! This video showcases the incredible skill and bravery of law enforcement officers around the world. From the heart-pounding chase through the narrow streets of Brazil to the high-speed pursuit in Estonia, every moment kept me on the edge of my seat. Gotta admit both bikers could handle those machines exceptionally well. Perhaps the cops should recruit the goober?
It'd be funny if the cop himself is a former punk who was recruited that same way. 😄
That bike chase reminds me of mission impossible.
That bike ride gave a mini heartattack
That suspect with the bike got some mad skill I'm gonna have to give it to him.
Right. Feels like a GTA mission.
Cope, thats nothing
It only looks that way because the playback speed was increased. They were going much slower than it appears in the video.
Makes sense now
I have seen something that’s a cross between the grappler and a spike strip, it’s a Kevlar net with a row of spikes along one edge, you lay it out like a spike strip but when a vehicle runs it over, the spikes latch onto the tyre and wrap the net around the front wheels and axle, preventing the vehicle from steering and quickly bringing it to a stop. It’s still being tested but it could be quite effective if it gets approved for use.
Man rides as if he's in GTA
The bike chase will forever be a classic
The bike chase was better than from movies. Both runner and officer are so good.
This just shows how much training and dedication goes into being a motorcycle cop. Their ability to maintain control at high speeds and still respond to situations is incredible! Hats off to those who protect and serve! 🙌
