- Hey cruisers!
It's debarkation day, and we're visiting Singapore!

Today is the last day of our life changing Asia Cruise. On this Diamond Princess cruise we covered 2800 nautical miles and visited Tokyo, Shimizu, Osaka, Taipei (Keelung), Hong Kong, Nha Trang & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam, and Singapore.
We start off this morning's Princess cruise vlog with a quick breakfast in the main dining room as we gear up for a leisurely debarkation. Last night our son came down with a little flu bug, and we had to take him to the medical center. In the end it wasn't too serious, but it did put a damper on the evening. By mid-morning he was feeling much better, and we were all looking forward to seeing Changi Airport in Singapore. It was surprisingly easy to get a taxi from the the port. Our driver was super nice, and his car was pretty fancy. He offered us a city tour for a reasonable price, but the 3 hour minimum put it just out of our budget. The Changi airport is simply amazing. It's beautiful, clean, strangely quiet, and full of friendly staff eager to help. We were there for quite a while, but there was so much to see and do that the time flew by. Our son is a big Harry Potter fan, so we were delighted to see a huge Harry Potter exhibit shortly after we arrived. We may do an entire episode on Changi airport, but for now we'll just give you a peek of some of the outstanding features. There's a butterfly garden, a movie theatre, and tons of restaurants and shops. It is without a doubt the best airport we have ever visited. We really had a good time at the airport, and that is not something we say a lot. The flight home wasn't quite as fun. It was extremely long, but we knew it was going to be rough when we booked it. I mentioned in the beginning of this description that this was a life changing cruise, and while that may seem a little overboard, I stand by it. We spent quality time as a family, and got to experience simply amazing things together. We met wonderful people that made us feel welcome and reassured. Smiles, and laughter instantly broke down language barriers, and we left many ports feeling like we were leaving friends. It feels to me like this was literally an unforgettable cruise that will always be in our hearts. Thank you for joining us for this cruise vlog as we traveled Asia aboard the Diamond Princess.

Wow, just wow...now that is an amazing airport! Thanks for showing it to us!
This airport is unbelievable. I just added Singapore to my bucket list. What a closing statement!! This was real and heartfelt. This is why you have such a following. Love me some CTTV family
Right? So incredible! Thanks for following along!
I am so glad that you and your family appreciate the opportunity to see other countries and cultures and respect said cultures... This is why I will be a fan from now on... Keep exploring and broadening your horizons because you'll never be able to see everything this world has to offer in 10 lifetimes, let alone the one we are gifted with...
I’m from Singapore and I found this video while watching some of ur older vid but I rlly love the airport and there is so much to do there
Omg that’s an airport?? Looks like a travel destination all on its own! Great series by the way, what a great Asia trip.
Great video. Singapore Changi Airport is truly #1 International airport for 6 years running, I have visited Singapore since 1988 and made my last trip number 19 on May 2019. I don't think you had a chance to see the new indoor waterfalls called the Jewel, that is mind-blowing and $1 Billion in the making. Singapore has something new every trip I make. 🇸🇬
Oh wow! I was just there and didn’t see the butterfly garden! The Qantas terminal was pretty standard. Lol. Thanks for this incredible series!! ❤️
Scott Singer Cruises you can get a monorail between the terminals! If you have time of course lol
Singapore is at the top of my bucket list!
Thank you so much you guys for all the amazing videos of your holiday....you guys never fail to deliver!!!!! I am binge watching the whole trip as we are doing a very similar trip in May but in reverse. We sail out of Singapore :) This video about the Singapore airport is amazing.....so looking forward to going there now :)
How wonderful! I think you will love it. I bet the weather will be warmer.
Brought back so much sweet memories! We were on this same cruise but unfortunately we did not bump into you guys. It was such an amazing trip. Thanks for sharing.
YAY Welcome to my homeland singapore. Hope you come and singapore and stay for a week :)

Thank you you guys for another great vlog...Singapore airport is a ‘wonder’ ! We’ve been lucky enough to experience it too. So glad you had a fantastic vacation..you really are an amazing super cute family! Hugs xx
Loved the video!! I want to go to that airport! 😍🙌🏻
Wow. I thought the Portland Oregon Airport was the nicest I've been to but your airport footage looks awesome! Fun video! Cheers! 😎
Hey! We'll be taking a transpacific cruise out of long beach and ending up in Singapore in October. So this vlog really helped in my information research. I can't wait! 😉
Like Hong Kong, Singapore is a place where I've been a dozen times but never actually left the airport, though our cruise did call in there, so I've seen a bit of the city on a day tour. Yes, there is a hotel airside and I've slept there a few times. Most of the rooms have no windows; turn off the light and it's pitch black, super great for sleeping but don't forget the alarm!
A destination in itself. If I can I try to get at least a few hours in transit, though a lot of the flights from Australia pull in for refueling and there's barely enough time to walk to the lounge, get a shower and a meal, and hop back on the plane for another long leg. But when I have time, it's a fun place to explore, and shop, and eat, and people-watch. Therre are laundries and pharmacies and well, everything!
They do that security thing and sit in a bare lounge before boarding at Doha as well. When i find one of these systems, I visit the toilet first because if the flight is delayed for any reason and my bladder keeps working, things can get tricky. Hot tip - arrive early and grab a seat near an electrical outlet, assuming you have an adapter and power cube.
Thank you for all of videos of this holiday great job x
So happy for your family. What a great time you have had & shared with all of us.
Great vlog - incredible airport!!
A new venture for CTTV 🤔 hmmmm......???
What an amzing, enlightening and FUN trip that was...for you three, and for me! I'm sure your heads are still spinning from the cultures, flavors and people you experienced. Thank you for sharing it.
we felt exactly the same way after our first land and cruise holiday in asia , it s so hard to describe and you said it perfectly.💖💖💖
So enjoyed the Premiere ~. Was an amazing series. Thank you for taking us along!
I feel like I was on vacation with you. Was so enjoyable to watch and we hope your son is well and you got home safely.
Wonderful!!! I was at Changi back in 2002, but only to arrive and depart quickly. No time to explore. Thanks for sharing your experience!! 👍
Really enjoyed your holiday, from beginning to end. Just want to be on our next cruise. Thanks to you Sheri, MrCTTV and Jnr Editor for a fabulous time watching your vlogs. 😎😎❣️
What an awesome video! Loved it hopefully he is feeling better ☺️ hello from
Florida
LOVE LOVE LOVE
I have so enjoyed watching these vlogs and it has really inspired me to have the confidence to want to travel abroad.
loved it
This airport looks gorgeous! Another airport that was super impressive was the airport in Milan...totally blew my mind on how large it was.
I just want to take a trip to the airport. 😁
Great vlog!
If you want the complete opposite of an awesome airport experience fly in JFK airport in NY...it's a little rough.
Time to cruise the Mediterranean 👍😉
Disembarkation day can be so sad but you found a great way to spend the time before flying out.
There are four terminals in Changi Airport. Terminal 3 is the best but terminal 4 is the newest. I learn that Singapore is going to build Terminal 5. By the way, you should check out the indoor waterfall in Jewel Changi. It’s awesome.
Christmas decoration still .. wow lol
Great trip and awesome video. I think I would have tried to get upgraded to business or first on these flights. They are way too long
Thanks! We would if we could afford that.
Was junior patient zero?!?! I think COVID was a thing in late 2019
This was a full year before COVID started but it was definitely scary!
i do so enjoy your videos...but it is incredibly unbelievable to me that you have gone on this incredible Asia trip and failed to see even a miniscule portion of what was at your doorstep. You flew into Tokyo and spent not a single moment in this incredible city. You had Chinese food in Japan! And Hong Kong? Did you get to the top of Victoria Peak? Singapore? The airport? Please tell me you're going back....
As we mentioned many times throughout the vlogs, we want to return, especially to Japan. Unfortunately, you only have one day on each port on a cruise vacation so you have to make choices. Our son was ill in Singapore, as we mentioned so we couldn’t tour the city. You can’t see everything in one day and we have limited vacation time.
Whoa ! serious bags under your eyes
$55 taxi tour per hour and 3 hours minimum? This taxi driver is tried to rob you. 👎👎👎
Yep, and that's why we didn't do it, and our son wasn't feeling well- there's that!
