Ordered a balcony breakfast for a surprise for my husband’s 70th Birthday last year on the Princess Grand. It was sooo worth the money! Two days to my California Coast cruise with my daughter on Grand again. Ordered roses, canipas, and chocolate covered strawberries for a surprise for her. Hope it goes well.

I’ve ordered the cereal for breakfast (granola or muesli) and a glass of hot milk - so I could have a “hot breakfast” when on Alaska cruises! Room service breakfast is great for early morning port days - no need to rush to the MDR or buffet - breakfast in the cabin & then ready to disembark!!

When we cruised on the Crown Princess we loved to order breakfast room service to enjoy on our balcony. A pot of coffee, juice and croissant or bun......wonderful way to start the day!

We cruised on Princess with our toddler and had the greatest time. We ordered room service... more times that should have been allowed lol! It was so good. ❤️🚢❤️🚢
If you stay in a suite on Princess, the breakfast options are considerably expanded. There will be 2 specials, which might be waffles or exotic fruit or a long list of other things. You can order eggs in any style and there will be assorted breakfast meat options. There is also hot oatmeal, and honey is included along with preserves for your bakery items. You can also get bagels and lox with cream cheese. As for the lunch and dinner menu, it's fine as far as it goes but it is very limited, and if you plan on ordering room service often you'll be totally bored. On our recent trip, which encountered rough seas, feeling queasy and staying in the room and ordering room service seemed like a good idea, but there were NO easy-on-the-tummy choices! Everything was heavy and spicy. Finally, it was often hard to get through to room service, the phone was busy for long periods of time. Once you got through, however, the service was quick and attentive.
It's such a treat to have coffee and juice delivered in the mornings on Princess! We don't usually order food items. Just need some coffee to get going in the morning and then up to the buffet to get a breakfast or brunch. The delivery now has a 'tip' to be added. I noticed this on my last PRincess cruise. But for $2 or $3 to have that morning service , well worth it. Looking forward to this next week on the Royal!

Thanks for the video. We are trying princess for the first time, coming from a premium line (Regent).The menu seems limited but the food quality looks decent at least.
It is very good, and specialty dining is always an option too.

Great video ! I've never had the room service on my ten or so cruises. I usually have an inside so I spend as little time as possible in my stateroom. In a suite I could see doing this. Other than the salad I can't eat any of this. It is too unhealthy.
You can order breakfast online with the Princess intranet. No more filling out cards and hanging them on the door.
Last Princess cruise we tried to order room service at sail away but the phone was unanswered for 30 minutes and I finally gave up. This happened again mid morning on a sea day a few days later. Really disappointing!
Wonderful info. I am a Carnival cruiser and I was waiting to get to Platinum Status before I tried other cruise lines because some will match the status. Do you know if Princess matches? I really want to cruise the itineraries that I have seen on your channel one day! ❤️❤️🚢🚢

I think there room service is very good
There are gluten-free options for the breakfast and everywhere on Princess. They are awesome to us gluten-free people.

We have had great success in writing in standard breakfast items on the door hanger or ordering on the phone. Most notably, we order bacon for two. Note: it's a ginormous portion.

Although they won't be listed, tell the room service line what your challenges are and they will do the best they can to accomodate.

I have a question for you. My husband and I are going on the Ruby Princess at the end of Dec and I was wondering if there are places around the ship to fill a water bottle or insulated cup. I am thinking VERY SERIOUSLY about taking my insulated cup because I am not really a soda or alcohol drinker. So I don't plan on purchasing the soda package. And my other question is-
Does Princess have any kind of "bottled water package " for anyone who doesn't drink sodas or alcohol?
Yes! Mainly at the buffet areas! Go for it!!!

How is the internet on the Diamond?
if they have Medallion Net, it will be great. If not medallion yet, it will be a bit slow.

Hey Scott, the gin bottle I got was $20 approx.
I have never had room service answer the phone that quickly on any Princess ship! The tuna sandwich is really good. So is the hot dog. It's the same one they serve up at the poolside grill. Ask for condiments.
