This video was worth watching just to see/hear Junior Editor giggling during the pedicure & Junior Editor (and mommy) in shower caps!! What an amazing day!!
I think the highlight of this episode was definitely your son giggling his way through a pedicure. So much joy in his skipping around during what looked like a pretty cold and drizzly day. Those hot springs must have been very welcome. I once went to Hanmer Springs in New Zealand after a magical day on the road from Wellington. Great to relax in the hot water, but I made the mistake of putting my head under the water and got an ear infection - those things are just bowls of germ soup! Totally agree about sea days. Great for recharging the batteries and recovering from travel and excitement. Or taking in the activities the cruise director lays on for the more senior youngsters: talks, workshops, movies, quizes and so on. I did a 30 day cruise Hong Kong to Southampton some years back and there were a great many sea days along the way. In their own way, days to be cherished every bit as much as a port day full of action and adventure. I liked your showing us what you packed for the excursion. This is where research and shared tips come in handy. I appreciate the effort you put in. It's great to see the exotic ports and so on but having some advance warning of things to pack - nail trimmers, for one! - can make a big difference in getting the most out of an expensive time away. Thank you.
Hello from Texas! So happy that your sweet family got to visit my home country, Taiwan! My family loves cruising, and I would love to do this cruise some day!
I’m loving this series so much. I could watch for hours. Junior Editors pedicure was wonderful, such an infectious giggle. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you for taking me to see what Taiwan looks like. I recognize the cherymoya fruit that you ate. The hot spring looks so interesting. i have been following your channel starting from Japan etc since I will be going to cruise around Japan in few weeks on Princess. Your son is so lucky to be able to see other countries.
Watched this video right after it was posted and just watched it again today. We were on the HAL Westerdam and did Keelung and LOVED IT!!!! We had planned to go to Taipei but then just decided to walk around and so glad we did. I was re-watching some of your videos because I am looking at the Diamond Princess sailing Keelung-Keelung with 4 stops in Japan.
Glad you enjoyed your day in Taiwan, sorry the weather wasn't nicer for you! I might have to try the resort next time I go back to Taiwan. Hopefully the family will visit Taiwan again in the future and experience more of the culture and scenery. 😊
I really enjoyed seeing this port and you seemed to make the best of a cold and drizzly day! What was that fruit (?) you were eating at the market? The fish pool at the spa was funny...glad to see you try it, just for the adventure of it all! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Hello from Keelung. It’s great to know that you had a lot of fun in my hometown. I agree with you that the hot spring is awesome, especially in the winter time. Wish you have great time for the rest of your trip. Hope to see you again in Taiwan.
We did the exact same tour on the Sapphire Princess on Christmas Holiday and it was pouring rain ahaha! you were lucky to see the geopark without rain ;) but we loved this excursion anyway :) love your vlogs xx
I'm new to your channel... Sean and Stef recommended you in one of their videos and I just had to check your style out... I will be watching more of your vids and I do like that your son is a welcomed addition to show his perspective with "Kid Cam"... Keep it up, little man!!! You're the real star of the show! I've had a pedicure once too, it was when I was 37... It tickled my feet too... I feel your suffering, brother! All in all, all of you keep up the vlogs and I'll always be a fan... We'll get you to 100K subscribers soon...
Totally enjoyed your vlog. Nice tour. I love hot springs. You are brave re the pool with the fish. Love Jr re the pedicure. I giggle too....what a fab trip
So glad you did this cause now I know I have no desire to go there this time of year. And maybe not any time of the year? If I go to Japan or Asia I will fly and stay in a resort. Sorry, but it just looked miserable. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for all you guys do though. :)
Great vlog!! I love them...you do an awesome job. Well, next to Scott! LOL. I also love how Jr. is becoming such the world traveler! I introduced my niece to cruising when she was 8. She was hooked and has met so many friends from going to Camp Carnival to Norwegian's youth programs. She'll be 17 in a few weeks and we'll be going on her 10th cruise (my 20th) in June, Norwegian Dawn, New England. I think cruising has done so much for her growing up. There's so much more to learn than just in the classroom!! Keep on cruising and exploring the world! 😁👍
We went through the same terrible jet lag on our first Asian cruise. For our second, after about 5 minutes of research, we bought a natural sleep support product in a vitamin store (all natural ingredients like valerian), and took it when going to bed for our first few nights in Asia. Zero jet lag! The stuff really works and is a must buy for any long trip. Cruise days are too special to waste, no?! We found the Yehlui Geo Park not really worth the trouble, but the Queen’s Head really does look like that famous Egyptian sculpture of Nefertiti, but you’ve got to photograph it from the front, not the back! We loved the Tienlai Hot Springs too, though. Did your guide point out all the monkeys in the jungle by the road as you drove up the moutain? Definitely an unusual highlight! The night market in Keelung is a blast. But for anyone in Keelung for just a day, the best option is probably a visit to Taipei. It’s one of the most amazing cities we’ve ever visited, and it’s only 20 minutes away, and you can explore it one your own without paying for an expensive excursion. It’s this incredible combination of science fiction futurism with ancient culture and is truly one of a kind.
OMG, they really slaughtered Yeliu, I still can remember that we can catch wild sea cucumbers in those rocks and nothing like the concrete and boardwalks for tourists like that and never mind those vendors. 50 years is a long time, it is still in my dreams.
Great video....Have you heard about the controversy surrounding Sea Cruisers Vlog...Amy Donoho is the person in charge of it. She ripped a lot of people off on her last group cruise on the NCL Bliss...a lot of people are coming forward telling of their experiences going back yrs. being conned. I know you are legit...others are commenting just wondered if you heard about it. A lot of people are taking legal action and it doesn't look good for her. Thanks again for posting. I love your videos.
Loving this vlog series. You are amazing to share your time and talent with all of us. 😘

Awesome vloggg
Crazy to think your fantastic trip a year ago has become an utter nightmare for the people on the same ship right now.
I love it!!
OMG! I think you were on the COVID-19 cruise!!
Love your cap Sherri, what brand is it?
My grandson got his first pedicure at 10 yrs old and he’s addicted!
OMG, they really slaughtered Yeliu, I still can remember that we can catch wild sea cucumbers in those rocks and nothing like the concrete and boardwalks for tourists like that and never mind those vendors. 50 years is a long time, it is still in my dreams.
Helloo what is the name of hotel? About wtih fish massage
Asians don't miss a photo opp.
I'm Asian. I abhor photos. Guess I'm unique
Hii! Quick question, what is the white thing that looks like bubble in the geopark?
Do you mean the stuff in the water? I'm not sure, but it looked like the foam that you typically see in the ocean.

Hey David, sadly we have heard about this. Lots of people impacted it sounds like. Makes me sad.
Hi, are you following the drama with "Sea Cruisers" Lordy, mercy...scam all the way....
Your mocking “karate” kicks are kinda racist. I’m offended that you’d do something like that ... very thoughtless. I’m unsubscribing.
