    I just want to say thank you for everything. Your videos on calculus really helped me. I spent my whole vacation on your videos, made an extensive note on them that I'm never throwing away. I'll pass it to my kids and hopefully it'll help them too. I got 86% in maths thanks to you. Stay blessed Sir.

    Hello, thank you very much for these videos.
    I have a question regarding the electronegativity of the diffrent complexes- Since comlexe IV comes after complex I and III, why don't we consider it as the one that has the most affinity to accept electrons after oxygen ? Won't that make sense ? Unless I missed one information maybe.
    Thank you again

    Hey, could you try to shed some light on Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase? The description I found reads:
    'Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) plays an important role in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis [1] by reversibly catalysing the oxidation and phosphorylation of D-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate to 1,3-diphospho-glycerate.'
    I get the start and end products, but when I see oxidation AND phosphorylation alongside 'reversible' I get a little mixed up. Any help would be appreciated, I'm abou to start your video. Thank you.

    I have I question ,,, does the ATP synthase considered as a part of the ETC ???considerate, that It doesn't transport electron.

    • @koolkittykat04
      @koolkittykat04 3 роки тому

      Technically, it’s considered the enzyme for oxidative phosphorylation, which is kind of the last step of the electron transport chain.

    • @AhmedAli-dp9gw
      @AhmedAli-dp9gw 3 роки тому +1

      So it's a part of the ETC ?

    • @nkamakimfuema5275
      @nkamakimfuema5275 3 роки тому

      @@AhmedAli-dp9gw ATP synthase is part of chemiosmosis. When ETC and chemiosmosis work together, then it is known as oxidative phosphorylation. Since ETC oxidizes and chemiosmosis phosphorylate ADP

    3:15 - 1/2 O2 + 2H+ + 2e− → H2O: here 2e− appear redundant because one O atom (valence of 2-) are exactly neutralized by 2H+, so why are they here?

    • @ruparavi6409
      @ruparavi6409 2 роки тому

      Not really
      1 O is neutralized by 2H not 2H+

    Hi
    Can I ask how many ATP molecules are produced in every ETC complex?
    It was actually raised by our professor, according to him, every complex in the electron transport chain produces a particular amount of ATP..
    He wants us to identify the ATP molecules produced in:
    Complex I
    Complex II
    Complex III
    Complex IV.
    Thank you so much for those who can help☺️

    • @roaahmed4669

      all of the complex considered carrier but ubiquinone and cytochrome c is the mobile complex the one that take the electron from one complex to another
      complex1 to 5 are stable in the inner membrane of the mitochondria
