JESUS CHRIST I LOVE THIS MAN. HE ACTUALLY TALKS SLOW AND MAKES SENSE. UNLIKE MY TEACHERS. YOU NEED TO KEEP THIS UP UNTIL I GRADUATE PLZ.
I agree. Just don't use Jesus Christ's name in vain...HE's THE big deal! May you graduate with much success!
NO he has a beautiful voice that makes you focus on what he is sayin
@@gfkenya9926 dude wtf
@@divineneos4392 you shouldn't use God's name in vain. He's the creator of science. Cellular respiration won't exist without Him.
@@wotto749 he is not creator of science
You are godly yet you don’t receive nearly enough respect
You can not call any body God.
Lo La sorry. Godly then 🤭😃
Why are you making fun of it. 🤔😅
May be you are infidel . Or you just don't mean to....
I can't explain to you bro ..but it was just an advice. I didn't mean anything else. 💛🖤

This video really saved my life . From the whole quarter i couldn't understand the topic so i watched this the day before exam , i thought this subject would be my dead end , but im so thankful that ive learned the whole lesson for one hour and 40 minutes . I already got the results of my exam , i got 47/50 hahahaha thankgoodnesss
MAN I HOPE GOD BLESSES YOU A MILLION TIMES
Who would've thought I would ENJOY an hour and a half long video about cellular respiration? I'm listening to this like a podcast while formatting my one pager to study for my test.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Your videos are so soothing somehow even though the content is often anxity inducing
You are amazing, sir. I appreciate every second that you invest in your lessons. If I’m ever confused, need a refresher, or want to learn, I know I can always count on you. Thank you.
WOW WHAT A GIFT FOR MY BIOCHEMISTRY EXAM. This was posted on my birthday. You're a blessing to students Sir.
uhUh
Happy birthday

Awesome! I'm 22 minutes in, and you are much more helpful than my cell biology iText and any videos it has links for! Thank you so much for this wonderful video you created. Greetings from Canada. :)
You're such an incredible teacher and your voice is so soothing! I get really stressed when I don't understand something and your calm demeanour is so helpful. And your information is fantastic. Thank you!
This I love about you man! Simplicity! but filled with much information you can ever imagine in the shortest given time! ❤️
This is so helpful. You're like my second professor. It's unbelievable how much effort you put into your videos and yet as many states, you don't recieve enough credit or recognition.
I love your calming voice and how well you explain everything! I have turned to your videos for help numerous times while taking Chemistry 101 class and now Microbiology 125. With your help, I am now looking forward to applying for registered nursing school this September. Thank you so much for taking the time to really explain things in a way I can understand😀🙏
You are a God of tutoring science, keep it up! You are gonna help multiple generations of students to succeed in college.
My appreciation for this guys work and help is immeasurable
I had a hard time studying this but you made it so simple. Thanks so much
WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD AT TEACHING, SIR? OMG. YOU REALLY NEED TO HAVE A PRIZE. Thank you so much!!!
this person is single handedly saving lives and grades
You are one the greatest teacher i have ever studied to. Lots of love from india. Thank you so much . You are great sir
1:27:07 glycolysis produces water when the enzyme enolase catalysts the reaction of glycerate 2 phosphate into P-enolpyruvate. It produces 2 waters.
Did the same mistake on my test.
Thanks for this
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. This is exactly what I've been looking for😁
Its funny you post this to day a actually need it for our recitation tomorrow 😂
1:33:24 i think that in the investment phase ,we give 2 Atp molecules per glucose molecule in order glycolysis to start...in the pay off phase is that are yield 4 atp molecules and net production is 2atp... so I think that B) is false
same
I was just thinking abput this, now I'm hella confused!! lol
Just abt to correct that but you got that for me 3 years ago, tyty!
I love you man... you are my savior in distance learning AP Bio
I have a lot respect for this brilliant madlad. You have gotten me through so much in the past 4 years, from AP chem to college ochem and such. If I could give u a hug I would give u the biggest bearhug imaginable.
waw ,, you've helped me understand things i thought i understood befour ,,, i'm proud of you and i'll remember you in my prayers.
Wow. Totally get most of it now. At least what I need to know for Gen Bio. Great tutorial. Loved the q & a at end.
You are the best teacher I have ever seen...❤️❤️❤️
I needed this sunday before the test!
as someone with fibro and m.e, I have joked that I dont make atp, it is now known that is actually the case. And it all kinda makes sense now, I'm severely anemic, lack the vitamins that tend to help in the process of atp, and constantly crave carbs and sugar. I hope sometime soon we learn more about the correlation. Thanks so much for the vid.
so helpful. The best professor all the time
Thank u for all your knowledge and support
Thank u for filling our Brains with Knowledge.
wow if its a school project this is so educational thank you if not its still perfectly instructive
I am confused about question 20 B, I thought the "payoff" phase was the last set of reactions that produce 4 ATP and the investment phase was the first set of reactions that yielded 2ATP molecules? Can someone explain further please??
yes your correct, i think he got confused
he mixed it up
thank you so much for the work you do this is helping me pass my GED exams!
DUDE YOU ARE THE BESTTT if you can do photosynthesis I honestly think you’d be the best UA-cam channel ever
thank you so much! i have a chance to pass bio. i’m BEGGING you to do photosynthesis 😭
You are way better than my school teacher..... thanks for everything thing. 💕
this is super helpful for ALevel biology as its very similar to the syllabus
This video was phenomenal, thank you SO much.

This man is my hero❤
sir on question 20 you gave the wrong answer for B :( investment phase is -2 ATP molecules...............
love the vids man
Love this man
Excellent 👍
at 1:33:05 B is false
the investment phase consists of the first 5 stages, NOT the last 5
correct me if I am wrong
Awesome awesome… where were you all my life🥹
You are the best
I was confused with how glucose is broken down to ATP because some people just say glucose is just broken down into 2 ATP which confused me. Anyway I get it how it is through your video.
I can't thank you enough!!!!!!
Just in time for biochem 2, Ox-Phos metabolism!
God bless, Sir♥️🙏🏽🥺

let me comment in my native language"boi uli mupondo"meaning you are bad news. This has cleared all the lacunas i had on this Topic, thanks a lot.
Thank you very much
You are saving me
thank you so much!!!!
Thank you 😻
Hi! How many ATP molecules produces from the breakdown of one molecule of pyruvate to carbon dioxide and water (the enire proton gradient of mitochondrial inner membran includes too for ATP production and ATP-synthase has 6 c-subunits).
Thank you ❤️😊
I have a question. During the pyruvate phase, when O=C=O is broken off pyruvate and becomes CO2, why is that considered pyruvate oxidation if pyruvate is losing oxygen?
I think the main reaction is pyruvate dehydrogenase, but pyruvate oxidation is a reaction under it
Can you please add the document in the description
In form of pdf
You are literally the best human alive. in this f*cking planet
Is there anyway to have access to those diagrams? They were amazing!
so good😭😭😭
0:07 derive e from food
0:20 formula
- releases e, exergonic
Reactants, products, e released lost as heat [thermal]; some captured as ATP
1:26 atp
- drivers ender
- ADP + Pi
- unstable phosphate bonds
2:34 q, why atp, less e loss compared to glucose
3:32 car example
- store e as atp, not release e all at once, more efficient release little at a time
5:12 atp structure
5:34 over view
- 4 stages: [1] glycolysis[cytosol] [carbohydrate break , 2 mol pyruvate], [2] pyruvate oxi [3] Krebs cycle[matrix] [e- released create nadh and fadh2] [4] ETC[inner membrane]
7:45 glycolysis,
- g;2pyruvic acid [oxidation rxn]
- 2adp -> 2atp, phosphorylation [substrate lvl]
_[oxi phos is diff and in etc]
- 2nad+ -> 2nahd [reduction]
- [oxidation vs reduction rxn] 9:55
May God bless you
For Question 20 (T/F) (1:33:00): The questions is: The investment phase of Glycolysis yields 4 ATP molecules per one molecule of glucose. This question was marked as True. But I thought the investment phase of Glycolysis consumes 2ATP and the payoff phase makes 4 ATP which results in the net ATP produced being 2 ATPs. Is this a mistake? Or am I not understanding the question correctly? @theorganicchemistrytutor
You are a God and I love you.
Bro just taught my week and a half lessons in an 1hr 40
My glorious king
I always love your videos and they help me a lot. At about after 1:00:00, you drew the Pyruvate wrong again. That’s the only mistake I’ve ever seen you have. Thanks for the video
A carbon is also missing from the basic structure of ATP on the left
He's human, he'll make a few. All professors and every graduate student does. What's good is that you caught it.
mickey is the powerhouse of the cell
@42:50 If 1 molecule of NADH activates 3 complexes and therefor produces a net of 3 ATP, why does 1 molecule of NADH2 only produce 2 ATP? Yes it activating 2 complexes, each of which produce 1 ATP when activated, but there are 2 Hydrogen atoms in one molecule of NADH2, and of course 2 are lost when it is oxidized in complex 2. Why wouldn’t 1 molecule of NADH2 (emphasis on the 2 at the end) produce a net of 4 ATP? (Each Hydrogen activating 2 complexes. Therefore 4 activations in total)
Am I missing something? Thank you for your help in advance
