Diffusion and Osmosis - Passive and Active Transport With Facilitated Diffusion
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 чер 2024
- This Biology video tutorial discusses diffusion and osmosis. It also mentions the difference between passive and active transport. Diffusion is the movement of any material down the concentration gradient. Osmosis is the diffusion of water. Facilitated diffusion is the movement of material down the concentration gradient with the help of a carrier protein. Passive transport is the movement of material from a high concentration to a low concentration without the expenditure of energy. Active transport is the movement of material from a low concentration to a high concentration using the expenditure of ATP energy.

If you guys appreciate this channel, please don't skip the ads. It's a tribute of thank you to this amazing lecturer/tutor! Thank you sir
I only skip add if im on a rush, otherwise I think of ads as break for me!
oh shit you right
Adds shall never again be skipped on this channel 🤝
oh shiiiii I forgot about that, thank you for the reminder! This dude is a life saver
I never skip ads, only for this channel!
This guy needs to get a nobel prize, year after year these videos have made my life better
I'm a freshman in Biology so the timings of these videos are great. Thank you!
You're a senior now, how's that going?
@@Objectsided pretty good! I'm focusing on molecular biology and doing some undergraduate research while also applying for master's.
@@Saeedd01 Awesome :)
I have zero chemistry or physics etc background, and I can understand everything. This way of explaining is exactly what suits me, and especially in comparison to other UA-cam videos! (of course it is not the same for everyone, but this is the best for me:-)) Thank you, great job!!
Always spoliing us with the quick uploads, keep it going 💙
Perfect timing exam Thursday 👌
Love your videos I keep coming back because for some reason, you put I find more clarity here than from my Professor. Thanks !
These videos are SO GREAT! Thank you, thank you!
Thank you so much Sir; your work is deeply Appreciated!
the way you break this topic down 🥺 I've been trying to understand this for a while now with no success until I came across your video. thank you so much 🥺
I love this video helps me understand much about how high blood pressure occurs.Simple and clear. You explained everything excellently.
You are the best teacher that I have ever encountered
I really like the short Biology vids!!!
Trying to clear my concepts after watching this. Thanks!!
This guy is So underrated , got every single subject
You're the best teacher. Thank you
Much better than my bio teacher, thank you
More biology vids. They are great.
In general, I would say that diffusion is movement due to a difference in potential. It could be a concentration gradient in this example, but it could also refer to heat moving from higher to lower temperature (potential) or water flowing from higher to lower gravitational potential or electric current flowing from higher to lower electric potential.
Short but clear message
Thanks 👍
Dude you are going to save me in my AP Bio class
Thanks so much for beinggg the bestt tutorrrr!!!
You the best Teacher.. thank you sir
Please do more videos on AP bio!!! I was hoping you had this vid before :(
The best touch i have ever seen
Am in love with this voice ")
Tnx this is actually good timing as I'm preparing for exams.... I love this channel I will dedicate my degree to this guy... Am I the only one in here who feels like doing so????
tebogo clerents totally understand he made something that was so hard for me to understand very easy to get
Thank you sir, you are pure genius.
thes saved me for my Bio exam the day after tomorrow, THANK You MILLION TIMES 3
Underatandable ❤ Great job 👏 👍
Thank you..Merci beaucoup 👏
Thank you so much. Really appreciate
Funny, I just had a lab on this and had to do a report on Thursday. And I was desperately looking at videos to understand this. And now you upload a video on it 😅
I love this guy.
yerrr😃😃🤩🤩🥰🥰 I am speechless 😶 😶.......THANK YOU GROOTMAN. God bless you.
The Best Tutor!! I learned a lot just from watching his videos. sir, Can you create videos for TEAS, they have a new version of TEAS now.
Awesome lecture
Thanks for the explanation it really helped
I ain't even gon cap you explained this twenty times better than my health science teacher did
Thank you i appreciate this🙏
Your basically my professor😂thankyou sm
very nice bro. you are better than my professor 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
you saved me. appreciate it !
I like your explanation
Should also go over the energy equations associated with diffusion and the electrochemical gradient
Wonderful!
sen var ya süpersin çok teşekkür ederim hocam
OH MY GOD! This man knows every subject!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
finnally somebody noted noted it
!!!!!!
Thank you very much sir
Great video
these really saves me
thx for making me pass bio, chemistry and physics
Thanks you so much
Thank you sooooooooo much🙏🏻🙏🏻
thank you!
Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
LIFESAVER BRO
This is why I am acing my classes
Good video
thank you
Do you have any practice problems to do? Like any sort of practice work sheets to help understand the concepts?
The great polymath.
Thank youu❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Please explain mitosis for the next video
Don't look the comment go back and study the lesson!
2:35 one must imagine sisyphus happy
but cant the nacl ions in 10:04 go from the right to left by diffusion ? water goes from left to right due to high conc to low conc but why cant diffusion take place at that time as well or does it happen ?
i know i’m two years late but he says “this membrane allows water to pass through but not the solid particles”
wow
OMG THEY DO BIO TOO?
these are animal cell? how different are plant cells? what about fungi/mycelial cells ???
thanks !
i wish you could be my teacher
I appreciate the pun.
why glucose need the carrier protein but not the other
Because it's hydrophobic.. Google it
That still does not answer the question bro 🤣
Its large molecule so it needs a carrier protein to move inside
great video but i didnt really understand osmosis
if you could reply and help me out it would be great
Please I learnt filtration is another type of passive transport
here we have a u tube
8:29 hah, get it?
do u go to gym?
:)
2x speed op
sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Thank u is not enough for u so what should i say ? 🤔
man how can you explain every single subject?? are you google or something
Thank you sir
