The installation looked very easy.
It was very simple!
I can't seem to find any info as to whether it is weather proof. I have a shop where the roofline is such that any lock will see direct rain at times.
I found this in the FAQ section:
"Is the Aqara Smart Door Lock U50 waterproof and can it be used outdoors?
The Aqara Smart Door Lock U50 front panel (Keyboard) is IP65 waterproof, but the indoor panel can only be used indoors."

I had butchered my door for a xiaomi smart lock (mortise) and now I can't place other locks on it that's not a mortise :( To make matters worse, it was a mija ... which I came to find out only works with chinese servers. FML. Should've waited for these locks.
Maybe some bondo and a piece of correct size piping could help patch it up to the correct size? I tried to drill some deadbolt holes bigger and they looked very rough, but somehow I made it work.
