As many other people, I went back to the Yoga with Adriene archives, taking my time with old videos during the pandemic. It does my soul good and I appreciate the years of work Adriene shared with us. Going back to the classics during quarantine seems to be a common theme among people all over the world, be it UA-cam videos or series or movies or books. Thank you, Adriene, for being such a support to everyone through your tireless work. Sending love to everyone.

Wheee! This is great news! I want the videos to serve people at home and in their bodies but also to serve as preparation (physically and mentally - sometimes emotionally :) to go deeper into Yoga and spend some time on themselves. We are worth it! Perhaps then we can feel comfortable and empowered in any public class! Thanks for the feedback! XO A

Hi Rida, it is common. Your wrists are probably not used to being used in this fashion. Everyone is different so I try not to use the word "Normal" but yes it is common :) Make sure you are pressing up and out of your foundation- and not sinking dead weight into your bones/joints - wake up the body. This becomes easier with practice- or rather with practice you will begin to find more ease. You can also experiment with turning your fingers out just slightly- or also practice this on fists. XO, A

Hi! So I'm new to yoga and so far I love it! I have always had horrible posture and basically, I just have never felt comfortable in my body. Does this make sense? Anyway, I am a mother of 5 children working full time out of the home so I have no time to go to classes at this point. So I am thrilled to have found Adriene! I have been working on some of the basic poses and hope that I'm improving. Did I mention the fact that I have zero flexibility and that i'm also over weight? Ha! Anyway, here I am!

Tara you can modify with either fists instead of flat hands or bring forearms to the mat. If bringing forearms to the mat it too low use a stool , chair or stack of blankets. hope this helps... You can also use a yoga wedge ☺

My apologies if I am asking too much about transforming videos with automatic captions to closed-captions - just that automatic captions cause me losing my presence trying to decipher what you are saying. Please let me know when closed caption is available.

I've just started to learn yoga with You, and I absolutely love it. I have a chronic back pain due to slight scoliosis at chest level. Yet I have to work full time as a healthcare assistant (LOTS of manual handling). Despite the fact, that I follow health&safety guidelines (when possible :)) my back is still suffering. I was always told to exercise to strengthen my back, but I actually hate all the gym exercise and fitness workouts. I really do (and it often makes it worse). Swimming is nice, but membership is very expensive and would take too much time to commute (on the opposite end of the city). But this is like heaven. Gentle exercise which released the stress from my back muscles. Like "poof" and it doesn't hurt. Why haven't I tried this earlier!

I have a question . Working on the Cat Cow fundamentals video. I'm age 67. I broke a bone in my wrist about 7 years ago which seems to have healed fine. However when I am in tabletop position I get pain in that wrist after a few minutes. I think it is from that 90 degree angle probably because I lost flexibility. Any suggestions about either adjusting the pose or excercised to increase flexibility ? I've been following your videos for a few years, and they were very useful when I was dealing with rotator cuff issues a few years ago. Now trying to learn the fundamentals in hopes of starting a regular yoga practice I am using your fundamentals. Ive learned a lot already so thanks so much.

My physical therapist is helping me set up a gentle yoga routine and she recommended I check out your videos on the poses she's starting me with. She really recommended this pose for my pelvic floor exercises. I've wanted to get back into yoga for so many years but I struggle a lot with chronic health conditions and it's been really intimidating. I'm so excited to try again though

Thanks for this videos Adriene! I'm just starting again after a while without doing yoga because of my wrist. Please could you tell me what can I do to strengthen it so it's not painful after doing cat cow pose. Thanks 🙌
