First class Simon, commentary is educational to the less experienced. Where I farm in Cheshire I’ve never seen any deer apart from very very occasional foot prints, but finally saw a muntjac last week, nice to see finally and I’m wrong side of 50 😂

Ye Stephen i too all my life used to do the same and i would say go 4 farms on the night yet see nothing then the next day the farmer would have lost chickens and such so i came up with the plan just stake out one valley for as long as i can for the night and to be fair it has been working, at times it gets a tad boring but i kind of enjoy this way these days as i like watching the wild life i see.
@@simon6ppc246I'll give it a go sometime, would make for a Better relax than id give myself at home🤣 can never stop there. I'll have to find a way to carry a camping chair as well as the other gear😁

Another great video, with great results Simon. Two things you have that I can not have where I live is the suppressor and the night vision. We can own night vision,but can't use it while hunting.

Honestly, only the fox is in the best position to say if your dry lip squeaks are "amateur". But with that fox being dead, I think it settles that question!
poor vixen - didn't realize how expensive chicken is today. foxes, coyotes, and raccoons get to be a real problem around here and out west where I used to live and now up north in my state, the wolves are beginning to be the same. it's a shame, yet it has to be done especially when one is doing subsistence living.

Ye David i have to have a license and they are quite hard to get to be fair also you don't have to have a license for any air rifle under 12ftlb in the UK.

You and other night shooters use the night vision monocular on your left eye not your dominant right eye. Why please?
I can use it with either to be fair Steve but also it keeps my other eye perfect for seeing in the dark.
