Hi Simon, enjoyed as usual. Bank Holiday over, it's all down hill to the next. We've had friends from Trinidad staying. Also had an appearance of rats. Thought they might have been upset if I got my gun out, but no, he and I were sitting on the settee having a little rum and coconut water, set up with gun and sticks, patio doors open. Popped three. Big Steve, Bridlington
Great shooting as usual. Great channel. No Bull S..t . Just an honest view of the reality of rural life. One of the very best channels on You tube to correct the often misunderstood reasons for pest control in the UK. Cheers pal. Regards to all from Glasgow.
Great shooting, Simon! Always a learning session with you as the teacher. I've posted your link on a couple of stateside fora that I frequent and gotten very pisitive comments back!
Too bad them willy ole foxes can't escape Simon, stealthy sniper in the dark! I never realized how large those teeth are until you started pulling the gums back! have a great new week!
Incredible image with out ir. I am a little disappointed with the low light performance of my 4K compared to my TD50. Maybe I need to adjust some settings

Years ago there was a cartoon out called the Whacky Races and there was a load of idiots called the Ant Hill Mob because every where they went they cause mayhem and destruction lol.
Top shooting as always ! You werent hanging around on that last one ... You forget how to use the video on the XQ ?? (I know I do 😂) Thanks for another cracking video.
@@simon6ppc246 LOL that would explain it ! Great image through that Alpex. Do you think the 4k makes a big difference ? Currently running the TD50L - super sensitive (like the Alpex), but image gets a bit grainy sometimes.
I've got the 4k but only have a Zulus and pard 007 to compare it to. I like it, but I think it's fair to say "4k" is just marketing bs. Prob same for others too. The display you look through isn't capable of 4k resolution and when you display on larger screens, it tends to look worse than in the scope display. The important thing is it gives a nice clear image on 3.5 and 7 magnification. Much higher and it does start pixelating, moreso at night when using ir, the more ir you feed it when on higher mag the better. High mag is not the best for making UA-cam videos but gets the job done, Simon is good at getting the best from it👍
The reason the female fox maybe dont want to come through the fence is there is probably scent from another fox marking their territory the fox did not want to cross...so there very well may be the real killer fox that has scent on the other side of the fence...ive trapped fox for decades and hunted a few the wounded rabbit sound always worked good for me also nice shooting always enjoy your videos
Well could have easily gone the wrong way good result though, the times I've had em come and come and its getting towards safe shot and they just bolt well done another VID of showing how pest control should be done
Ye Tomas its a hard question to be fair as they all do it just some better than others for the money Hikmicro does take some beating also the Thermtec range is good also for the price and to be fair i still like Pulsar just they tend to be a tad expensive these days.
Aye ,Simon nice bit of film as normal ! Hope you didnt get caught by the HIK updates ? , i usually wait a week or so before updating, quite fancy a Browning jacket with the elbow pads....Do you rate em?
Simon, did you find it easy getting picatinny rail for the 75? i have an 85 in .243 and cant find a picatinny rail for it without spending stupid money......all the best mate!

Ye i do too pal.
Simon you should record your squeak then play it back when you’re in position🤣
I did once a few years back lol
Aye ,Simon nice bit of film as normal ! Hope you didnt get caught by the HIK updates ? , i usually wait a week or so before updating, quite fancy a Browning jacket with the elbow pads....Do you rate em?
Its still standard Gary, to be honest the jacket is brilliant but the pockets are a tad small but other wise a cracking jacket

@@simon6ppc246 well typical, cant find it anywhere on T'internet, probably been discontinued
Hi Simon , what twist rate is your 223 and what is your favoured round for it ? Cheers
Its a 8 twist Marty and the best bullet i used in it was the 69 grain TMK to be fair
Simon, did you find it easy getting picatinny rail for the 75? i have an 85 in .243 and cant find a picatinny rail for it without spending stupid money......all the best mate!
