    Could you do a video on how hybrid plants are made? Like the process behind it.

    • @magdalena2238
      @magdalena2238 3 роки тому +22

      It's quite simple and you can do it yourself at home.
      One plant is a mother and gets pollenated by a second plant - father. It happens by placing a pollen with a tiny brush. So you have to do the job for them. The seed is a hybrid and the plant from this seed is a hybrid.

      @@magdalena2238 i have read somewhere anthuriums have perfect flower meaning they have both female and male part, and different from philodendrons which have separate female and male part. Maybe this is reason why there are so many hybrid anthuriums and not so for philodendrons. In fact, here in Indonesia it’s harder to find pure breed anthurium. I feel like breeder will make hybrid anthurium out of boredom 😂 hybrid anthurium get hybridized again until we don’t know what anthurium is that. Reason there are so many “no id” anthuriums

    • @magdalena2238
      @magdalena2238 3 роки тому +4

      @@hernuprawira1969 with anthuriums it's quite interesting. The flower starts as "mother" and it can get pollenated. If it didn't happen the flower starts to produce pollen and you can collect it to pollenate next flower or other plants flowers.
      This topic is so so sexy ;)
