Of course there is an underlying agenda, but meaningful change in how police engage the public is going to require it. The question is, do you believe police officers should be subject to the equal rights provision of the 14th amendment? If a citizen had done this he'd be viciously attacked in the media and certainly convicted. This judge is behaving differently because the accused is a cop.
@Mick Jagger No sir, police officers are not allowed any leniency or extra rights, read the 14th amendment. If a cop can't do his job without criminally assaulting citizens he needs to find another line of work. ALL PERSONS are subject to the same laws. Most reasonably intelligent persons believe police officers should be held to a higher standard of lawful and moral behavior , not a lower one.

I work in EMS and these kind of EMTs get on my nerve... seen it way to many times, the ones that think they’re GI Joe and are obnoxious in their ways. The ones that think they’re gods gift to emergency services.
People forget that EMTs have a grand total of about 120 hours of training. That's it. Paramedics on the other hand have between 1300 and 2000 hours depending on the program they attend and if actual education is required rather than just plain old training.

She's was such a bad witness. The prosecution thought that her being an EMT would work on their favor; but she has such a bad attitude and seems to emotionally involved.
@The Judge she made the prosecution look horrible. I hate what happened but looking at the trail for a while now, the defense for the officer looks a lot better. The evidence is there, but the prosecution isn’t providing much evidence they are just throwing people in who stirr in emotions. I’m not on either side by the way, I want justice for Mr. Floyd, but I want this to be a fair trial.
@The Judge well she shouldn’t be in emergency services if she can’t handle a few questions, she clearly hasn’t been on any terribly serious calls, she would’ve snapped like a twig. She is someone who is mentally incapable of doing this job, and this job ain’t for everyone. But she lacks integrity, and as someone who has been in this field probably longer than her, she needs to get out before she hurts herself mentally.
@The Judge You are so sad lol. I suggest you make peace with the acquittal now, or else you’re going to lose your mind. The defence of this case has been near impenetrable, and every witness brought up by the prosecutors has been overly emotional, and agenda driven.
She is a perfect witness for the defence she was volunteering information that they would normally have to challenge a witness to get. The judge even instructed the defence to be more direct with their questioning so that she would not be volunteering information. All the defence had to do was repeat a question and she would give new information.

Good thing then that she isn't a cop. But she is a first responder and saves lives rather than taking them. Firefighters in some cities have had to deal with people actively shooting at them while they are putting out fires. They still put out the fires while the cops cower somewhere nearby. that is damn good advice i can attest too. your feelings don't matter when someone is trying to pin you. It's all a ploy to get their point across
It's all stepped in opinion and the interpretation of the witnesses, officers and others observation.
@Mick Jagger No sir, police officers are not allowed any leniency or extra rights, read the 14th amendment. If a cop can't do his job without criminally assaulting citizens he needs to find another line of work.

Firebombing federal buildings, rioting which resulted in more then 17 deaths (news reported 7 deaths from chaz autonomous zone and the new zone has had 10 deaths) and more then 900 injuries to police and civilian casualties.
The federal government should charge the protesters who were let into the capital building by police as a trespassing charge, but if you charge them then you should also charge rioters which they did not. (The DA in oregon released all rioters on ground of peaceful protesters even in cases of looting, rape, arson, and assault and battery. )
Justice today isnt blind instead is hypersensitive to race, social standing or sexual preference. In many cases you can add political preference to this list. To me the law should apply to everyone equally. (The reason the statue they have in front of many court buildings is blindfolded is because justice should be blind to these situations.)
It's the narrow narrative that is politically motivated by a certain political party. They say you always believe in the victim with no evidence and to render judgement before a trial. This is especially true in the event the victim is female or minority, not my words but what they openly state on the account of historical occurrences that no human alive today was alive for.
This rule get thrown out the window if the race of the victim is asain or white since they are privileged and therefore isnt racist since they hold privileges they say they cant see but is "truly" there.
