They actually were the best team of the '09 season, doubled the yardage of the eventual NFC Champion Saints in their title bout. Took six fumbles in said game to defeat them, a crazy statistical outlier, on top of the famous interception to end regulation.

That's one of the best single passes in NFL history Favre at 40 with 10sec left down 4 under pressure buying time in the pocket takes a hit upon release puts this ball on an absolute rope 45+yds to the backline where only his guy who is covered well could catch it and stay in bounds. Absolutely amazing and a great example of Brett Favre extending the play toughness and the absolute howitzer he has of an arm
I was actually at this game it was my first sporting event ever I was 4 years old and my parents took me to this game my dad is a Vikings fan and my mom is a 49ers fan so in a way this game decided who I would cheer for and Minnesota won and I’ve been a Vikings fan ever since

Their are certain plays that give me goose bumps by the Vikings. The Minneapolis Miracle, Ahmad Rashad catch in 1980 vs Cleveland and that play. He had to catch that pass with no room for error

I was at this game. This was one of the two most stadium shaking plays I have ever witnessed. The other play was the "Endy Chavez catch" in Shea Stadium in 2006 NLCS game 7. Check that out on youtube. It would have been a more well known catch if the Mets won that game. Both of those plays had their stadiums shaking so much I was worried it would collapse.
I remember that play watching it live, that was so crazy seeing that. I’m not a Mets fan (Braves) but I still think to this day that Endy Chavez catch is one of the most underrated plays in MLB history.
Vikings haven't won the big game, but I stand by my opinion that they provide their fans more joy on average than any other team. They are consistently competitive and their games are always interesting. 2022 was by far the most fun fan experience with so many close games and epic come back victories... As much as I'd love to see them win the super bowl, I'd rather have a consistently competitive team year after year than a team who is good for one or two seasons and then struggles for many years in between. SKOL Vikes!
With the addition of Josh Dobbs from AZ, the chemistry he has with the Vikes is crazy. If he goes uninjured, Vikes are going to be a serious contender this year.
