don't buy it folks you will be disappointed
That "4000Amp" link is NOT for the 4000Amp product! Read carefully what product you are directed to when you open that link. 3000Amp!

I’ve owned my same one for 3 years. This thing is amazing. Never lets me down. I’ve jump started dual battery diesel truck motors before with it. It’s a beast and any outdoorsmen shouldn’t be without one.
I'm an Rv tech and I own the noco 150 I also bought the quick charger and a really nice case designed for the noco 150 . I highly recommend getting both accessories the fast charger charges it in about an hour where as plugging it into your standard home outlet it takes much longer . Charging it in your vehicle charges it faster than in your home . As a tech I also use this to power campers and run the slides out on them so I can have room to work inside .
You guys rock - draining your mini's battery to demo this! Way to be thorough and really show people how this awesome thing works!
Haha yes the things we do! It's a darn impressive unit - as you can tell by Marc's reaction to is - was hard to find things to knock as it's so well designed, thought out and powerful. Definitely enjoy having this on board - it's "worth it's weight" to us LOL - Julie
I bought one December 2, 2019 and charged it when i got it and never again till today and still not run completely down. Great product!
A week ago, I had a DEAD battery! I've had a GB30 for years. It did NOTHING! Freshly charged but no luck. A friend came to help me with a GB40. No luck. He took me and my dead battery and got a new one. THAT NIGHT, I ordered a GB150 from Amazon and got it today! It's on the initial charge right now. First, THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! This has answered several of the questions I had on the GB150! I have 2 more questions please: How often do I need to recharge the 150? I know you said it holds a charge for a year...and that's GREAT!!! Second question: If I charge this with the lighter plug, does my car HAVE to be "ON" the whole time the GB150 is charging? I realize that this MAY kill the battery! The instructions are in such small print, I cannot hardly read them! Thank you and PLEASE keep these FANTASTIC videos coming!!!😀
@6:34 LOL
“I really love the safety feature because I’ve worked next to people who don’t know what they’re doing and sparks go everywhere”
Proceeds with a “that person was me” tattoo on his forehead as he attaches the connections in reverse order.
Seriously well done, couldn’t have planned that fail better if you tried
So funny. I noticed the same thing on NOCO's very own vids--reverse order.
Great review and demo. I bought the GB150 and well worth it. Easy and most importantly very safe. Great design and reliable! Thank you for this informative video!
There is another very important function he didn’t mention. There is a special button for times when the normal jump start function is not enough (more dead than his). I’ve had to use the function. Life saver.
Great point - thanks for sharing!
Where and how?
Yes, please explain this 'special button' since mine came with almost ZERO instructions
Special Button - 1st, this button is dangerous as it takes away some safeguards. 2nd, the button is the override button. It is listed in the tiny booklet. I underlined it in mine and put it back in the bag with the unit.
The Noco GB150 sold in NZ is only 3000 Amps ? I wish Noco had kept the Amps at 4000 considering the price in New Zealand for the 3000 Amp GB150 is over $600.00
Good review. Not to be picky, but... The user's manual says to connect the GB150 to the battery prior to powering on the unit.
I bought a GB70 and only used once. It refuses to be charged now. Fortunately it's covered under warranty since it's only 6months old. Not bad product when it works. Good looking too.
Sorry to hear yours malfunctioned. We have used ours for 3 years and still love it.
Many people reported that issue. I'll stick to different brand.
How many people thought he was going to jump start the RV?
LOL
It'll do it
Everyone...
I did lol
Love this product...bought one after watching this video after the battery in my v10 was drained and my jump box wouldn't jump it. From the size you'd think it wasn't that great but I've jump started a dump truck with it
Have you used it since then?
Far better than jump leads or being towed all that hassle ive got a gb50 and a Lexus rx it starts it no problems 'it just used when I'm in holiday s for 3 week a when I get home all the battery s are dead so it's been worth every penny and in the winter time it's brilliant
We use one in our repo lot and this thing is great never let us down🙌 worth the money
Awesome video bud. Very informational and well done. Just bought one so I wanted to know how well it worked. Great brake down. 😊👍🏾❤️
Hey up buddy just wanted to ask how's your noco gb 150 performing as you've had a while now?
Good review and information. It would have helped to explain how to use the boost function on dead batteries.
Hey, great review man. I'm confused tho.. I'm looking on Amazon right now and the GB150 says it's a 3000 Amp but yours is a 4000 Amp? I see a GB155 that's a 4250 Amp.
Whats the difference between the gb150 3000a and the 4000a ones
Great video I just bought a NOCO Genius 10 to charge the battery on my car. Can this jump start a battery with 0 volts
Bag! Why couldn't it come in a hard shell case?
Wonder why they didn't have the voltmeter reader on the gbx155.
My Gb150 lasted about a year. No NOCO ever again for me.
Hey thanks so its safe 2 use on a smaller engin 8.0L gas engine
Just out of curiosity, with the no spark safety feature, what voltage does it read across the clamps with no battery connected, just a multimeter?
THANK YOU ! BEEN LOOKING ! BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT YEAR 👍 GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS ON 🙏 YOUR JOURNEYS ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨
Excellent review. Checked all the boxes of pertinent information for me!
How is this thing holdong up?
I have a HB 150 3000.I am have big problem with it.I can't get it charge is something I can do to have it charge again .?
I got the AC charger from NOCO for my GB150 and it works great charging that BigBoy up!👍
How about proper maintenance of this product?
That would be a good subject.
How is your gb 150 holding up?
Excellent video👍🏼
Hi mark Road Gear Reviews. I am from north of the border. I bought my GB150 on Amazon for $500 I use it about five times.within the year and now it doesn't work ,,, it is not under warranty . will noco fix this ???
I also bought their big G15000 charger.
I bought one of these used. What should the output be fully charged? 12.4v ish???
can this charge ebike battery? it has 12v port on it
Wait... I see 2 different gb150s...... one prints on the left front side of the box.. the other says on the right side of the front... why is that?
I've seen a few reviews of this product but I think you are the first (that I have seen) to talk about all the little pieces and parts that come with it. Great job!. The only thing they are missing is a regular outlet so a laptop could be run from it if necessary. I have a smaller jump starter from Halo that has the outlet and it has some in handy.
Thanks Deb, yes it's a HANDY device. Good idea re the regular outlet.. We have the little Bestek portable charger with a regular outlet (2 actually) which we can run from the coach dash or could even plug the 12V into this NOCO - but the caution of course is not t get to reliant on this charger for your smaller devices as if your vehicle battery dies and the NOCO is out of juice you'd be in a pickle! But sure is handy having all these options!
Road Gear Reviews - The demonstration is all well and good, but what I want to know is how reliable is it. It's been two years, how is it holding up? What have you used for in those two years? Have there been any defects or issues? Have you found any novel uses for it? Are there any special cables or adapters you recommend to use with it? Are there things you have learned that just aren't in the manual? Are you willing to do a follow up /long term review?
We still totally love our Noco, and have used it many many times. Starting both our Jeep, and even our diesel motorhome with it. No defects. I have only needed to charge it a few times despite many uses. So glad I have it, but not sure if I will do a formal long term review video. So many other videos I want to share first.
mine is only 4 months old, tried to start a mower with a dead battery but gave no juice at all, it only had 1/4 bars of charge so charged it over night, but still gives no juice. car boosted the mower just fine. test this power pack with volt meter and its not giving any output when on. led indicators make it look like its on but its not working anymore. what do i do? cant find receipt and it costed $500 and dead 4 months later is awful.
Use the over ride button
nice sun glasses. what is it?
How long has it lasted?? Its been 4 years does it still work?
Just bought one and noticed my GB 150 is 3000A and yours is 4000A. The 4000A today is a GB155
Just had to use it! Great Tool!
good review man - this thing looks really well built and after a recent flat battery issue i experienced, i looked into some tech to help me help myself and avoid those long waits for roadside assitance - definitely gonna buy one of these - super impressed ✌️🌍
Get the accessory NOCO XGC4 quick charger or be prepared for long recharge times!
Thank you for reviewing this. It help me out in my decision. I already have their battery charger and it is awesome. Thanks Ross
Hey there, do you have the 3000A or the 4000A version? I could swear they’re identical except the number 3000A on one but 4000A on the other, even the link for it on Amazon says, 3000A but the one in the video is 4000A and those on eBay equally the same situation.
I am interested in buying one of these but there are so many bad reviews on Amazon
Bad reviews from people who dont read the instructions
@@poisedonis Bought an Antigravity, friend bought a noco and regrets it because it did not work on his F250
Hi, can I jump start a AGM battery with the NOCO GB150 (for example)? or does it only work with lithium batteries? thank you!
wait how many liters engine can this start?
Can you take this NOCO GB 150 jump starter overseas and charge it on 110 or 240 volts outlet using USB plug since it does not come with any electrical outlet charger?
I have a question about how long the warranty period is on the product
Is this unit safe to use on a hybrid car?
How do I charge this unit
Interesting. I have a GB150 but it says it has only 3000A
Please can anyone tell me if that’s true it can charge 80 times. I just bought 4250 gb 155x and if i lucky to 10 times jumpstart on small engine it’s gonna be good
Guys he really likes how the male and female come together
What’s the lowest price on any site ?
Thank you for an excellent video
Hello, Do you think It’s work for my RX300 Lexus ? Thanks a lot, Kind regards
Is it ok for motorcycles?
The instructions say "must not be connected to a Lithium battery" maybe you should have mentioned that
This was done improperly. You first connect the positive, then the negative and then turn on the unit. When in doubt, please refer to the manual.
Really good product🙂
Trying to get a GB 150 or 155
What's the difference between the gb150 and gbx 155
I ordered one today.
Great review. I was looking at that product but not sure which "size" to buy so this helped. A question though, can you use it to recharge the trailer batteries? If so is solar necessary for a trickle charge for short time boon-docking? Should a battery be dead to use this or can it just be low?
Hi Brenda, glad it helped. Yes it can definitely be used to charge trailer batteries - don't let your batteries go dead or under 50% (PS. please be sure to read the Electrical & Solar System section of the 'How to Hit the Road the Right Way' course you recently purchased as that will also give you a much deeper understanding of how these systems work - much too long to explain it all in detail here!) - For short term boondocking, you could get by with just a portable 100W suitcase like we use and reviewed here on the channel - it's just come down in price by $40 from when we purchased it in February! amzn.to/2qrPrXK - so far it is working out great for us!
Awesome Product!!! Thanks for sharing!!
You're welcome! As we would say down under in Australia "it's a beaut!"
Great video. If you've addressed elsewhere, my apology, but I was hoping you might address different battery types, particularly AGM, and in the context where the battery has been deeply discharged.
I'm in that situation, bought this movie, but have not been able to get a jump. I tried a different charger attached to a good battery cabled in parallel to the dead battery. Still, little movement in the voltmeter. This is a new battery but had not been "programmed" for my 3.5 twin turbo BMW.
Any advice appreciated.
Movie s/b noco gb150
Good job!🦇
So, it will charge a cell phone 10 times, and jump start a diesel 80 times????
Always connect your positive cable first. Not what he did. Also not 10L diesel engines but 7L diesel engines & yes 10L gaa engine.
What happens if your 10 litre engine is on 24v ?
My jnc 770r starts evershit I’ve tried
Does anyone know why this doesn't come with a 12v wall wart to quick charge on your workbench? Can you use a standard aftermarket 12v one? Do you really want to use an iPhone 2.1 amp usb charger for 11 hours? I've watched about 12 reviews and not one reviewer or commentor has asked about it. Thanks.
Didn't really find it to be an issue as we charge it a couple of times a year at most.
I think NOCO offers a 120VAC charger as an option to charge faster at 12VDC, put it is purchased separately. Suggest you check their website for more information on that.
google the above !! Comes with 4 different plug options for the traveller about $50
You did a review and started a matchbox car. lol 😂
can't you just plug into a wall outlet to charge?
Received my GB150 yesterday and partially charged it at work with my laptop. When I got home I used a 120 volt USB charger (Beats Headphone charger) to complete the charging. Both worked great and the wall charger was much faster.
Yes you can
Thanks for sharing! We have used our GB150 a few times this past month to recharge our car battery.. it's on the way out. Charging works well either way but yes wall charging is faster!
Ig I forgot there is a over ride button 'it's the red button 'you use this when the battery is below 2 volts 'the noco can't red the battery when it's below 2 volts 'that's what the over ride button is for ''but be very careful because when you use the over ride button it does away with the safety aspect if you put the leads on the wrong way around you can do a lot of damage and it doesn't give you the protection of using it in the normal mode 'the over ride gives the battery full power you should hear a small click when it ready to start the vehicle 'but please be careful and make sure you put the leads on the right way or you could blow every fuse of the vehicle and maybe destroy the ECU
No longer is this a 4000amp, now 3000 amps.
If the only way one can recharge this unit is by plugging it to a cigarette lighter while driving, that is a serious design flaw. Especially when fully charge takes up to 3 hours. That means one has to drive up to 200 miles to fully charge it. Average commute to work or driving around the city is far less than that. I have one made by SPARTAN that has an electrical outlet charger that can be charged on 110/240 volts outlet.
how many jumps on a full can it do for a car before it needs to be recharged?? 10 , 12? or really 80?
@Tommy Ealey so you are saying your tractor battery is harder to jump than a car ? Where you did 42? Since a year ago I commented I bought the gb70 and gb150 and don’t get anywhere near 80. I get about 25-30 weather depending
@Tommy Ealey interesting maybe. Starting current shouldn’t be that far off I wouldn’t think but you could be right. I have the GB150 the 3000a one. I have the 2000a one too seems to be pretty good
@Tommy Ealey 3000 is the biggest I thought at 3000. Never seen a 4000
@Tommy Ealey I’m guessing it was false Advertising by them changing it to 3000a. I could be wrong but seeing how there’s no 4000a has to be
@Tommy Ealey I just checked mine and mine 4000a I bought it about a year ago
dude you took a boost pack rated for a diesel and used it on the smallest gas engine! come on really
I have also used it on our 8.3 liter diesel engine, and have seen it used to start other diesel engines without even having the battery installed. This is very impressive. Just used on the car to demonstrate how it works.
@@RoadGearReviews then show it
I love how the male/female plugs connect together. Tech sex talk?
Can this be used to charge your vehicle thru the Cig Lighter? I've noticed some jumper boxes advertise this as a feature
I don't believe this can charge the car from cig outlet. Only charging FROM the car, or directly connect to battery to charge/start.
well done !
Its actually not the mack daddy. They make a much larger one
How tobuy noco
Mine lasted one year. No NOCO ever again for me.
Not good for min cooper battery to drain it dead
I was about to buy one today until I read the negative reviews on Amazon. A common complaint is that these last about a year and quit. Very unfortunate.
عندي جهاز معطل لا يستقبل شحن
Used mine as a Memory saver 😂
My GB150 is 3000Amp not 4000Amp
Read the.....Instruction Manual....before using. It could save your life!
Believe it or not NOCO is a NOCOFF
Great my jnc770r can charge it lol
Will it work on a COMPLETELY dead battery? Sometimes, the smart charges won't even recognize that they're attached to a DEAD DEAD DEAD battery. They need something that has at least a little juice. So, this would still leave you stranded.
I have seen this work even with the original battery removed from the vehicle. So, yes, very confident it would work with completely dead battery
@@RoadGearReviews Yes bro, it works with a fully dead battery. I just used it today, just hold the button with the exclamation mark for 3 seconds and it will start your car instantly. I had my battery and car sit for 6 months cause of covid, no problem starting it.
The biggest problem I have with these "portable power packs" is their reliability. Sure, they're great out of the box but when the rubber hits the road and you're out in the cold - with a dead battery... will these "portable power packs" work then? Doesn't matter if they come with a warranty, will a warranty jump your cars battery when you're stranded out in the middle of nowhere? Show me a reliable, portable, multi-functional jump starter that is still taking and holding a charge and able to successfully jump start after a year or more... and NOT made in China.
I've had mines for two years and still going strong
Everything is made in china....it would help if you stop going to Walmart. ..
SIP SC Hybrid Pro Booster . It has small AGM back up battery to charge ultracapacitors. Much higher peak amps. Design and made in Switzerland but double the NOCO price. I think is worth it.
k p Your ignorant.
