@@bluflaam777LSA I would have to agree, while a capacitor kin the loop would certainly help, I have used the NOCO GB40 repeatedly at work and on only one exception Cadillac 3.6 SUV. Everything starts. The Cadillac is likely sensitive to the low voltage unlike most cars. I would probably recommend the next model up or the one he indicated to cover everything. The NOCO he tested actually will start from 0 V if you hold the override button down for a few seconds. This feature is also on the GB40 NOCO and is why I purchased this as most cheapies at the time didn’t try if it can’t see the battery for safety reasons I suspect. The NOCO is quite sturdy and has been quite reliable and has all the electronic internal unlike some of the cheaper unit (although quite a few cheapies were quite good here)
We purchased the Gooloo a few months ago based on your last jump starter video. We couldn't be happier with it. Anytime I have to buy a tool, I look to see if you have done a review on it. I really appreciate all of your videos.
You said the NOCO won't activate with a completely dead battery, but did you try the override? By default, it won't send anything when it can't sense the battery and polarity, but if you hold down the override button for 3 seconds, it'll do whatever you ask it to. The NOCO is fantastic! They should be on sale for Black Friday soon.
This is also my experience with two different Noco's. I've had such good luck with them, i bought them as christmas gifts, and bought their battery tender.
I am a professional technician. I use the same NOCO in this video. I can verify that the override button will start a car even without a battery present. It will work without override if it sees over 3 volts in your dead battery. The whole dealership knows what jump pack to come get when the others fail to do the job! Ps, I bought the NOCO because of your last shootout!
@@ProjectFarmplease check out and consider the good all / start all brand for your next video they are lithium jump packs cable of starting large diesels I think they and Noco would be an interesting vs since they seem to be similiar price and performance we personally have a good all 10,000a and a noco gb70 both work great! Don’t see any coverage on the good all on UA-cam and it seems to be the most powerful booster for the price currently
I bought my Gooloo jump pack from your last video on jump starters and it's saved me out of several jams! Really appreciate all your hard work, you help so many folks and keep us from wasting money needlessly on inferior, more expensive tools and products. Keep up the good work, sir.
@mattness1619 That's because these types of jumpers were never designed for that type of use. It's to get people out of a pinch, not do something like move your project car around.
I bought a NOCO based on one of your older reviews a few years ago and it has never let me down. It also holds a charge for a ridiculously long period of time. I've had one sitting in my Jeep for over two years and still was able to jump a diesel dump truck!
The NOCO is by far the best, our Fire Department has tried possibly every brand and only keeps Noco on the trucks. It's helped out a lot of stranded motorists, can jump start a Chief's truck easily even with all the electronics/radios/etc, and has enough juice to start a diesel tractor trailer. Also holds its charge for very long periods of time. Cables thick too and don't get hot. Expensive, but if you need the best and it work 100% of the time every time, I've yet to find anything that comes close to Noco.
I’m a police officer and I bought the Gooloo for work. I’ve used it at least 30 times on all kinds of vehicles. IT HAS NOT LET ME DOWN! The NOCO gb40 I used to have has let me down a couple of times and it found itself for sale on Ebay.
@theu821 Gooloo is awesome! Multiple people in my family now own them but you can't beat a police officers testimony-I know you are jumping people all the time and good on you for it! 🫡 The battery lasts forever too
After last year's PF review of these, I bought the Gooloo. I haven't been disappointed. Even when it was 15 degrees out, it started my son's 6.4 diesel without issue. After a year's storage, it still shows 100% charge. Totally impressed with the Gooloo, and the price was well worth it.
I also bought one on his previous review and have had very good experiences with it. Crazy how effective these little things are compared to previous bulky jump-packs of years gone by.
I own 2 NOCO Jump Starters. They are worth every penny. I have never had to jump start my own vehicle but have used them many times on other vehicles helping out other people.
My NOCO GB40 has never let me down. The reason it didn't work for you on the last test you performed was because when there's no voltage, you have to press the override button which is the exclamation point. Now on to the video, thx Todd !!!
@@ProjectFarm is that true? May be worth adding a note in the description, some people might get turned off from a jump pack that expensive because it is listed as won't charge from dead. Keep up the great videos!
@notreal5311 tht happened the 1st go round with the GB40 if u remember you tested without a battery, you hooked straight to the cables. U only had to depress the exclamation ! Point symbol. Have u ever tested 12v ac inverters? The light duty ones use ciggy lighter & btr ones clamp to the battery. Thx again Todd !
I've had one for years, or whatever the model was 6 or more years ago. It's ugly inside but does the job every time. Must be great cell as it holds it's charge seemingly forever and pops the motor off every time. Couldn't ask for more. Even though it is sort of a POS. Somebody made a lot of money on these but at least they do the job.
After your last video, we bought a GooLoo, and have been generally impressed. Until I got used to it, I found it difficult to get the "Ok" light to come on, and it didn't cope well with a completely dead battery, but it's served me well in a few emergency situations, and I now can't imagine taking the car out without the security it provides. Thanks for all the work you put into these videos. (GE2000 with a 2.0L Diesel)
I just wanted to add that the NOCO will start a completely dead battery. You just have to disconnect the negative cable before you press the override button. After it's on reconnect the cable, just remember that the cable is live and will spark when reconnecting. It took me months to realize this after having it. I think it's some sort of safety feature. Love this channel, by the way.
@@sandertu8366 if the noco senses zero volts the override won't work. It will light up one of the safety lights (I think the exclamation point light). I work in an environment where completely dead batteries are normal. All of this info is in the manual that no one ever reads, including me.
@@LoSGaines That makes zero sense: Disconnected from the battery it would, also, sense zero volts. You have to disconnect it to ensure you are paying attention as you are about to disable all 12,10,14 (however many) 'protections'.
@LilRedDog ok. I guess I have to be absolutely completely clear for all you detail police. When the noco is hooked up to a battery it does an ohms AND volt and temperature and other tests. If it senses that it's connected to a circuit with no volts, override doesn't work. You can however use override when it's not hooked to a circuit. I bench test parts all the time with override but it has to be unconnected from the zero volt test part while pressing override. After it's on is when I connect the negative and buzz launch the starter right off of my workbench. I can do a video if that helps.
7:34 I have the exact same NOCO GBX for over 4 years now and it still works absolutely perfect! I used it to start trucks, buses, big cars, small cars even motorcycles. This thing is insane! Sure, very expensive.... but works in every condition!
I bought the Noco last year after watching your video and it was on sale to boot. I have jumpstarted dozens of cars and trucks without fail! Love your videos
Does it come with override ? So, will it work on dead batteries too. I have a cheaper/smaller, but the newest model myself and it already saved me once. Very happy with even if it is 100bucks
I’ve had a Noco gb150 for 7+yrs now and it’s the best I’ve ever used, never let me down even when I forget about it under the rear seat of my truck in the winter. It’s been almost dead and still started whatever I put it on!
I bought the Gooloo a few months back based on your recommendation. I've used it camping and to start motorcycles and cars. I then gave it to my daughter when she had battery trouble. I bought another Gooloo to carry with me. Both times I purchased it for $85 with a coupon on Amazon. Great bang-for-the-buck. Thank you for testing things for us.
Purchased the NOCO based on your review. I have been very pleased with it. Your are one of only a couple channels that I trust to give an honest review. Thank you for all you do!
I never believed these tiny little jump starters had the power to start an engine. I bought a Clore Automotive Jump-N-Carry JNC660 several years back and it's never failed me. It's big and heavy, but not that expensive ($120).
Bought one of the Gooloo GT4000 units a few years ago and have used it a lot to start dead cars in the cold of winter and my tractor all the time. What a unit. Liked it so much I bought several more!
@@saganworshipper6062I really would want the NOCO. But that GT400 placing in 3rd place while costing almost 1/4 of the price, looks like some of the best bang for buck I have ever seen.
@@chaselesser3191 Just to clarify, the model is GP4000 . I have a Jeep with a V8 that I barely drive anymore so the battery is always going dead but this thing fires it up in like 2 seconds even if the battery is completely dead. It was a little more expensive when I got mine, closer to $150, so if it's only $100 now, that's a fantastic deal!
I bought a Noco Boost from your video a while back and I love it. I had to use it 7 times in one day and it still said it had 3 out of 4 charge bars. Keeps its charge forever too
This is hands down the most comprehensive review of jump starters I've ever seen! You tested so many models under real-world conditions, from tire inflators to cranking amps, and provided all the key details we need to make an informed choice.
We got a GooLoo after watching your video a about 3 years ago. It's still going strong. I just jump started my completely dead V6 Ford Explorer the other day with no issues. Thanks for steering us to the best value products!
I bought the big NOCO-one (GBX155) a few years ago after watching your video. It starts my 6 L Diesel Tractor like it's nothing and I couldn't be happier. In fact so happy, I bought a smaller one (GB40) for my old hatchback and it saved me a few times already. I can't afford to buy cheap, please keep up the great testing! Oh, one more thing: The cheap ones usually give up due to small cables and badly soldered joints, like the first one in your test. The lithium cells usually can pack a punch. I once tried to start the tractor with a normal jumper cable. The battery was still full afterwards, but after just a few revolutions, the cable was hot and the resistance became too high to work.
I have also found that cable and clamps are usually the weak link in jump starting. I do diesel repair, and work on busses. I don’t leave for road calls without my super heavy cable set
@@Divided-we-fallthat's because newer jumper cables aren't made from copper but cheap corner cutting alloys especially if its on amazon (chinese manufacturers). I have 00 gauge pure copper cables as jumper cables that i diy. It doesn't get hot when i jump start my truck (usually rare)
I got the gooloo last year (based on your review) mainly to keep on my bass boat and it saved me once and has been very convenient working on small engines with dead batteries. My wife got one for her car and will eventually have one to leave in each vehicle. PLEASE keep doing what you do!! I have recommended your channel to many people! 🙏
I am convinced that the NOCO jumpers are the gold standard. I've been using 2 GB150s, since 2018 and 2019. They are used to Jumpstart diesel engines hundreds of times a year. Disclaimer: One of the GB150s (the one bought in 2019) did break after about a year and a half (prior to NOCO having a repair center). I called NOCO to see if they could repair it, and they said they don't do repairs but offered me a 50% off coupon for the same jumper on their website. Outstanding customer service. I am a 25 year Automotive Technician and I take my tools very seriously.
Purchased a Hulkman jump starter for each of our vehicles. Truly impressed with the quality and reliability. Keeps a charge for up to 18 months. Used it on our vehicles a few times and some friends after a trunk or treat.
Yeah the Hulkman is definitely one of the very best, but for some reason he won't review it. I and many others have requested he add it to the next jumper test, but he never does. Don't understand why he continually omits this brand.
Been a hulkman user for over a year now. So good that I bought one for both my cars too. Helped myself, friends, and strangers many times without issues.
I have the Hulkman Alpha 85, I've had it for 4 years and have used it for several jump starts. I don't think Todd is omitting them deliberately, the brand seems to completely disappear from Amazon every few months. I'm guessing when he bought his jump starters they just weren't available.
20:46 The noco will start with a completely dead battery. You have to put it in override mode (you do that by disconnecting the cables and hold down the override button for a few seconds and it'll go into override mode. Just have to be careful when it's in override mode not to mix-up the terminals as override mode disables the fail safe)
Bought a NOCO after several -15°F nights killed my battery, my brother recommended it. Never had to use the override and keep it in my car every winter! A good brand.
The Nexpow can start a dead battery without help, theres a red button on the side of the connector you hold for 3 seconds and the light on the connector will turn green allowing you to start whatever you need, they call it "Force start function" in the manual. I've had this jump starter for about 5 months now and have used it numerous times to start my generator, riding mower and motorcycle.
@@zegbigogui4268 yup, thats the big thing right there is that its goes for $50-60 pretty consistently while outperforming jump packs 2-3 times its price. I've used mine well over a couple dozen times already just due to me being too cheap to replace the battery in my riding mower, and so far it works just like the day I got it.
Just added 3 Gooloo chargers to my Christmas shopping list! An earlier video you made resulted in 3 Gooloo purchases last year for the kids, now it's our turn. Thanks for doing these videos, I always learn a lot, and have much better info on hand prior to making a purchase.
I just looked up your old video about this. On 11/8 I had to call for a jump due to my battery dying. As I waited I got on amazon and picked up a Gooloo GT4000s as the Gooloo was right behind the NOCO. Thanks for all your work on these reviews! Would have saved me two hours if I had listened.
The Noco boost series have performed time and time again for me, for starting my diesel generator, wife’s vehicles. Etc they have never not worked. One in each vehicle.
About a year ago I bought a gooloo based on one of your videos. I have used it to jump vehicles over 20 times and have used it numerous times to charge cell phones. I also recommend it to others and 2 of my friends now have them too. Thanks for what you do!
@whuzzzup friends and family call me with car problems and I have a car that has been sitting for years and needs a battery, but I still like to jump it and drive it around the block to keep things moving. I also pull over to help when I see someone having car problems. These things are a must-have for me
I bought a Gooloo based on your previous videos. I don't use it as much as I used to, but it has never failed to deliver. These videos are so very helpful!
You know when a UA-camr starts a channel and they spend time in the comments replying to viewers, then as they get bigger, say 1m+ subs they dont interact anymore? not with project farm, this guys channel is awesome and here is is replying and thanking viewers. Top guy!! Keep up the great work
I've got the 80 dollar jump starter from harbor frieght last year from your video. It can jump my 5.8 v8 ford from an overnight drained battery at least 4 times before it needs to be charged again and it's been absolutely great and it came in handy yesterday for a stranded motorist that couldn't get a set of jumper cables on the jump car. So thanks for your videos Project Farm . You help out more people than you know
They have a newer more powerful one now for a little over a hundred $, l bought one the other day to rip apart for a project I'm building, and l was pretty pleased with it's internals and it's clamps
Perfect timing for the cold weather season. Thank you for including Gooloo & Noco so we can see their longevity & reliability. Amazing & HONEST presentation as always 💯👍
They have a reputation for longevity and reliability, but I'd like to see some testing of that. How do they hold up 2 years of high temperature if you keep them in your trunk in the Southwest? What about banging them around, dropping them and dropping things on them? None of that is as easy to test as cranking power but it's an important consideration for me.
@@charliesullivan4304I have a couple NOCOs that I’ve had for a several years now. Dropped them, leave them in my car/atv /waverunner all year etc. No reliability issues, very well made. I take them out every 6 months to top up the charge. My only criticism is the proprietary accessories (different connectors etc) while robust, are very expensive.
I bought a NOCO GB70 almost 3 years ago. It is stashed under the front passenger seat of my truck. I use to live in the southwest. Now I'm in West Florida. I think the interior of my truck is much hotter in Florida than southern California. No issues with the NOCO so far. I've only recharged it once in the entire time I've owned it because I was concerned about parasitic drain. It hasn't failed me yet.
i bought the gooloo because of your review and im really glad i did! first i had to jump my my work truck and it did it even quicker than a new battery. along with that i lost power because of hurricane milton and because i had this pack i was able to charge all my battery powered devices. thanks!
In our auto shop, we use the Noco jump starter multiple times daily. It reliably starts numerous cars on a single charge, and even after three years, it’s still going strong. Although the battery has started to degrade, it can still jump several cars on one charge. Additionally, pressing the lightning bolt button forces it to deliver 12V, allowing it to jump even a completely dead battery.
Got the gooloo 4000 on your recommendation and have already jumped a 5.0 4 times with zero issues. I love the simplicity and instant start. Barely uses the battery each time. Thanks for all of your great recommendations!
After your previous video we bought a Noco 155 for our farm, and we are very very happy with it. It’ll jump start semi’s and even our combines and tractors. Very impressive!
I've got the same Noco and it's started my 12.7L diesel when it was 25 or so degrees out and almost dead. Love this thing. I bought this about a year and a half or so ago based on your review from a previous video. So thank you.
I still use the Audew 2000A you tested...bought 1 for my daughter...my coworkers and neighbors bought them too.. I've used it dozens of times..works flawlessly...saved me and others a few times on hot and cold Nevada days.... I also bought the Milwaukee tire inflator you tested..pricey.. especially the 6A batteries..but well worth it..used it almost 70 times for my tires .neighbors.. basketballs..etc .still running flawlessly..it's fast and powerful..thank you for your excellent product testing videos ..your the very best!
This is another handy video. It would be great to see a video about dry lubricants. Silicone, Teflon, graphite....any dry lubricant that can be used on locks or sliding doors.
In 2022 I returned the Avapow 6000a because it wouldn't start a dead battery. Then I bought the Gooloo 4000a which did the trick. This channel is the best on YT IMO.
@@douglascegelis190 If you're seeing this identical comment with other names, maybe you ought to have your eyes checked because I only posted my personal experience once. I have no connection with Gooloo.

Long time viewer, first time suggestor - Can we get a best waterproofing spray for footwear? might be a little late with winter this year, but there's always next year! Probably the best channel, keep doing your thing
Dude I'm still using 2 of the Audew Jump Starters you tested 5 years ago! They were fairly inexpensive and they are still working great. They have started every car or tractor I've put them on. Gas or diesel. We've used them as power banks for phones and laptops as well. They have been fantastic and hold their charge for months, even a year.
Im still using that Audew from your video 4 years ago and it still holds a charge great. I only have to charge it annually If I don"t use it. Great Video as always !!!!
Based on your testing back in 2020, I bought the winner: Audew Jump Starter, (1500A Peak 18000mAh). Have never regretted that decision, and have used in on many size and types of engines. Still going strong in 2024. I always silently Thank You, Todd, every time I use it in my senior community.
Bought one noco gbx155 2 years ago. Bought a second one last year. Between everyone at work and the 30+ vehicles/equipment there is always one missing from the charging area. Small atvs, cars, trucks, big semi trucks, tractors. +30 to -30 celcius. Never had to leave without having a running engine when we are done. Worth every expensive penny by our books. Great reviews as always!
I have a NOCO 40 that I have carried for several years. While on the Rd in Utah I came across stranded older van with a V8. The battery was completely dead. This jump starter that is designed for 4 and 6 cylinder engines was able to start this V8 on the first try.
I bought a Gooloo few months ago based on your last jump starter video. I was able to jump start my friend's car the first try. Thank you for the video.
Going to probably rewatch the previous video(s) after this too. Not sure how much overlap there is with companies providing the same model(s) (or very similar) each year with the same quality/performance
@@lgoamity Gooloo has had their GP line (in a few different colors signifying ampacity) for several years. I believe they discontinued or at least altered one model I bought in 2017 but IME that was probably a good thing. (It has a 19 VDC out to power a laptop which mine did not like much as it drained over 2 hours and got pretty warm. Still works great as a jumper pack and a USB battery bank.) Both of my Gooloo packs and the ones that my family has received from me or bought themselves all perform flawlessly and I've never had or heard any issues over any of them. Their model line has been pretty stable over the last several years. I've had mine since about 2017 and my 2nd since about 2019 IIRC. Both still work great. The Noco also have been pretty stable in their lineup AFAIK and perform well. Some of their smaller packs seem to be outperformed by the similar sized Gooloo packs though and all are a terrible value where the other brands exist. Unless they will just outlast all the others. Which I hope a Noco lasts 3x longer than a Gooloo for the 3-4x cost, but going on 5 and 7 years now at under $100, I'm happy with these two. Probably going to buy a 3rd soon.
Just checked my Amazon orders, and I bought the Gooloo 4k jump starter 3 years ago based on your last video testing jump packs!! The Gooloo 4k has been amazingly reliable, only needing charging every 6 months or so when I remember it. Anytime it has been needed, it has fired the dead car attached to. Always nice to have it in the house before storms as well, knowing it can charge our devices as required.
Thank you for making these videos. I’ve been watching you for years. Please make a video reviewing flag pole solar lights. The legality of our flag display should not be trusted to inferior devices. 21:38
PLEASE TEST BEST PORTABLE PLANER! Been watching your videos for almost 5 years now, thank you for saving us all time and money, you are truly a hero!!!
Good to see that you are going back to more clear titles. They reflect the production quality of your testing videos a lot better. Edit: he changed the title 😕
I have been watching project farm for many years and I’m still satisfied with every video and how considerate this man is when it comes to suggestions and ideas. I hope to continue seeing so much more from this channel. This channel and Torque Test Channel never upset with the willingness to listen and innovate on their approach
I first bought a Gooloo in 2019 with 800A. Used it 3 times on 3 different cars, and never let me down! We now have one in every car, and used it on my daughter's Civic just a month ago away from home. These are a LIFE SAVER if you are stranded and just need to get home, or somewhere like O'Reilly Auto Parts who offered to change the battery for us.
I bought a gooloo over 6 years ago and it has paid for itself many times over. I got lucky picking the right brand at the time but I'm glad project farm can vouch for its quality!
Everybody in the family has a NOCO HD GB70 in their vehicle, my dad gave one to me for Xmas and Ive done the same with the wife and kids. I went nearly a year and half without needing to use it, then in one trip I used five separate times helping other drivers out
Can you do a video on the Best Walkie Talkies please? I think it would be very useful for anyone who enjoys the outdoors for staying in touch when out of cell phone service. I have used many different ones in the past but don't know what to look for or what features good vs cheap walkie talkies have, and obviously their overall distance they can communicate over. Thank you! I just subscribed and love your videos on tools, especially car jump starters (I am trying to get one for myself for this Christmas, and on sockets and wrenches). Thanks for all the research you do!
I have had the NOCO GB40 for several years, charged it once a year, stored in my vehicle year round in Arizona heat, and it has never failed to jump my Jeep V6, motorcycle, Mercury outboard, Ford V10 motorhome or its 5500W generator... sometimes multiple times on each. Would happily swear by their products.
Bought a NOCO based on your tests in previous videos. I've used it as a power bank a couple of times while camping, the light is useful for checking under the hood at night (changed my headlight bulbs once and looked for an oil leak another time.) But my most exciting use of it so far has been jump starting a stranger's F150 **seven times in a row** to get him three miles down the road to the nearest battery store. He had ran his battery into the ground prior to that due to a failing alternator. We kept jumping it to get it a few hundred feet before the truck would die again; hop out, jump, go as fast as his limp-mode-addled-truck would let him, rinse and repeat! When we finally got it to the store, his battery was at something like 7.4 volts! (And to be clear: in the moment, we had no wya to diagnose the issue, and there was a language barrier. I warned him that whatever was wrong wouldn't be helped by repeated jumping, but he was okay with how we got his car to the shop. We only figured out it was the alternator after using a multimeter borrowed from the battery store. Me, personally, I'd never risk my ECU/electrical system like that.) That jump starter still had two bars left and started it on the first crank EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Have jumped a handful of other vehicles in the year or so that I've had it, can't sing enough praises. Thank you Todd! 😁
Last year I have bought a Noco based on your review. In Europe we do not have big engines so I went for a cheaper and smaller model. It still works perfectly to this day. Thank you for the review!
I picked up the gooloo 4000 after your last review. It starts my 6.5 diesel easily. Everyone is super impressed when I use it to jump their car that jump starters won't start.
I bought a yesper unit off your recommendation almost 2 years ago...that thing has saved my bacon dozens of times. I can also verify that this Yesper unit will cold start a 5.3l vortec motor in -10F temps completely disconnected from a battery, with the yesper unit having not been charged in over 2 months and sitting outside the entire time we had that cold spell last winter.
My Gooloo 4000 I bought after your first video is still running strong for me, and has got me out of some serious jams, especially while ice fishing. Thanks for putting these out PF!
I mentioned my 4 year old GOOLOO last year. Its now 5 years old and still kicking. I use it 3 to 4 times a week and it still jumps a semi truck as good as day 1.
I like the Autowit Supercap 2 to jump start my truck. This device uses super capacitors to get charged up from your dead battery. The unit is very lite and ease to use. No lithium batteries to worry about. Great video as always.
One thing to take into consideration with super Cap chargers is if your battery is completely dead there is nothing to charge the Caps and the unit will not be able to provide a charge to jump the battery. The super Caps chargers can be charged up with USB or a 12v power source and then will be able to provide a jump charge. The super cap chargers do self discharge over time. The cap chargers draw amps from your vehicles battery to charge the capacitors, the capacitors in turn act at as a super charged battery to deliver a larger jump charge to your battery.
@@chris8383 You can charge the Autowit Supercap2 with the included usb cable. I have charged this unit with a Blavor 20000 mah solar pack. My battery was dead and would not charge the pack so I used my solar power bank to charge the supercap2. It did jump my battery and was able to get to a mechanic. You do make a great point and also if your alternator is bad the supercap2 will not matter at that point.
I bought a GooLoo based on Ivan saying it came out as the best on your last test. So far I've only needed it twice for my riding lawn mower. My wife wanted one because she was left stranded with a dead battery a while back and now she carries it with her.
Noco is amazing I have it for over two years. It holds charge for a long time and it started up my car and many other cars of friends right away without any issues.
The jump starters are getting better and better, and I never leave home without one in the vehicle! More details in the video description. Hope you find this review helpful and I'm looking forward to reading your comments.

they're all junk. the autotwit is the one to buy. A large capacitor is key to the 'jump-start' design.

It might make a interesting video if you were to test some of the products from ads on youtube making spectacular claims.
please do an updated aa nimh/lithium rechargeable battery review! 😁
Thanks for sharing!
I do the same thing
I did the same thing and they were running a good sale when I got mine 😊
I also bought a gooloo gt4000s
Also bought the gooloo gt4000 very useful tool i have started a 9.0 liter tractor no problem
Thanks for pointing that out.
I was thinking this too, as it certainly should start a dead battery.
This is also my experience with two different Noco's. I've had such good luck with them, i bought them as christmas gifts, and bought their battery tender.
Yup I own the noco gbx155 and I can also confirm it works flawlessly if you push the override button even with no battery present. 👍
You do not even need a battery with a NOCO. It will start it just fine with the override.
Thanks for sharing.
Very impressive!
Which amperage?
I jump started a TRUCK with mine!!
@ the GBX 155 it claims 4250 amps
The annual jumpstart review video is almost as exciting as Christmas morning.

Half the fun is hearing the pronounciation of the brand names ;)
Maybe your momma should plug it into her butt snowboard

Thanks, will do!
Did you pay $100? They are now $170
I also bought one after last video..works well..but has a 15-20 sec timer once running and shuts off..not handy when moving cars without a battery
@mattness1619 That's because these types of jumpers were never designed for that type of use. It's to get people out of a pinch, not do something like move your project car around.
There's lots of goo when I use the loo
I bought a NOCO based on one of your older reviews a few years ago and it has never let me down. It also holds a charge for a ridiculously long period of time. I've had one sitting in my Jeep for over two years and still was able to jump a diesel dump truck!
Thanks for sharing!
Me to
The NOCO is by far the best, our Fire Department has tried possibly every brand and only keeps Noco on the trucks.
Same for me as well. 😁 Have jump started myself once, plus around 5 people out and about.
@@Otto_Irving yup even the cheaper noco units have never let me down
I’m a police officer and I bought the Gooloo for work.

🫡 The battery lasts forever too
My gb40 has also let me down on multiple occasion
Thanks for doing good work by serving the community!
Thanks for the feedback.
Cool
I also bought one on his previous review and have had very good experiences with it. Crazy how effective these little things are compared to previous bulky jump-packs of years gone by.

My NOCO GB40 has never let me down. The reason it didn't work for you on the last test you performed was because when there's no voltage, you have to press the override button which is the exclamation point. Now on to the video, thx Todd !!!
Thanks for sharing!
Kind of a big mistake. he should update this. Even the chart in this video said the NOCO won't start a completely dead battery
You are welcome! Thanks for sharing.
Why do you disconnect before pressing the override?
@@sandertu8366 if you just hold it for a few seconds you shouldn't have to disconnect it.
@@sandertu8366 if the noco senses zero volts the override won't work. It will light up one of the safety lights (I think the exclamation point light). I work in an environment where completely dead batteries are normal. All of this info is in the manual that no one ever reads, including me.
@@LoSGaines That makes zero sense:
Disconnected from the battery it would, also, sense zero volts.
Bought the gooloo years back because of your recommendation. Been an excellent item
GooLoo and Tacklife (now banned) are great.

Same, even the lower amp version, it starts my premium burning V8 no problem
It's been great for me, though having an integrated tire inflator would be awesome.
Same. Two years of going strong
Thanks! Glad to hear!

@@chaselesser3191 Just to clarify, the model is GP4000 . I have a Jeep with a V8 that I barely drive anymore so the battery is always going dead but this thing fires it up in like 2 seconds even if the battery is completely dead.

Thanks, will do! Thanks for recommending the channel!
Thanks for sharing.
Have bought a few for each vehicle and it's worked awesome to help others we've seen in need of help. Holds charge for a long time too.
Thanks for the feedback.
Bought a NOCO after several -15°F nights killed my battery, my brother recommended it. Never had to use the override and keep it in my car every winter! A good brand.
Thanks for sharing.
I just got it based on his review, plus Amazon had it on sale for 50 bucks, I can't be happier with the build quality and performance.
Thanks for confirming this as the Nexpow seemed like the best if it could start from totally dead

My Gooloo has survived 3 winters in my truck in the Northeast. Still holding a charge and working great.
Nice!
Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for making these videos. I’ve been watching you for years. Please make a video reviewing flag pole solar lights. The legality of our flag display should not be trusted to inferior devices. 21:38
Thanks for the suggestion.
PLEASE TEST BEST PORTABLE PLANER!
Been watching your videos for almost 5 years now, thank you for saving us all time and money, you are truly a hero!!!
Thanks for the video idea.
Hello there! Have a great Weekend!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you and you too!
@ProjectFarm Thank you!😄
Good to see that you are going back to more clear titles. They reflect the production quality of your testing videos a lot better.
Edit: he changed the title 😕
Coolant additive test
Thank you for the video idea!
yes water wetter and the purple ice come to mind.
I have been watching project farm for many years and I’m still satisfied with every video and how considerate this man is when it comes to suggestions and ideas. I hope to continue seeing so much more from this channel. This channel and Torque Test Channel never upset with the willingness to listen and innovate on their approach
Thanks!
Did some of these already it's time for another because they keep changing.
Yes indeed. They are constantly changing and they are getting better. Thank you!

CLEAR!!!
Woo hoo! Steam cleaners please
Thank you for the video idea!
@@ProjectFarm I would love to see steam clears for detailing cars.
Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you for the idea!
Most any sharp one is best. I sharpened mine with a belt sander and it is dangerous.

Thanks!
I bought a gooloo over 6 years ago and it has paid for itself many times over. I got lucky picking the right brand at the time but I'm glad project farm can vouch for its quality!
Thanks for sharing.
Everybody in the family has a NOCO HD GB70 in their vehicle, my dad gave one to me for Xmas and Ive done the same with the wife and kids. I went nearly a year and half without needing to use it, then in one trip I used five separate times helping other drivers out
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching and subscribing! Thanks for the video idea.
Thanks for sharing.
Bought a NOCO based on your tests in previous videos. I've used it as a power bank a couple of times while camping, the light is useful for checking under the hood at night (changed my headlight bulbs once and looked for an oil leak another time.)
But my most exciting use of it so far has been jump starting a stranger's F150 **seven times in a row** to get him three miles down the road to the nearest battery store. Me, personally, I'd never risk my ECU/electrical system like that.)
That jump starter still had two bars left and started it on the first crank EVERY. SINGLE.

You are welcome! Thanks for sharing.
I picked up the gooloo 4000 after your last review. It starts my 6.5 diesel easily. Everyone is super impressed when I use it to jump their car that jump starters won't start.
Thanks for the feedback.
I saw a comment asking you to test flag pole lights and another one asking about hearing protection. I agree with both of those suggestions!
Thanks for the suggestions.
Glad to hear! Thanks for sharing.
My Gooloo 4000 I bought after your first video is still running strong for me, and has got me out of some serious jams, especially while ice fishing. Thanks for putting these out PF!
Nice! You are welcome!
I mentioned my 4 year old GOOLOO last year. Its now 5 years old and still kicking. I use it 3 to 4 times a week and it still jumps a semi truck as good as day 1.
Nice!
I like the Autowit Supercap 2 to jump start my truck. This device uses super capacitors to get charged up from your dead battery. The unit is very lite and ease to use. No lithium batteries to worry about. Great video as always.
Thanks! Thanks for sharing.
Hi, i have used the noco gbx40 in the last 7 years, never disapointed me, and about $100.
Thanks for your chanel
Thanks for sharing. You are welcome!
I bought a GooLoo based on Ivan saying it came out as the best on your last test. So far I've only needed it twice for my riding lawn mower. My wife wanted one because she was left stranded with a dead battery a while back and now she carries it with her.
Thanks for sharing.
You always have uncanny timing. My jumpstarter died last week and I’m in the market for a new one. Always appreciate your help!
Thanks! Glad to help!
Noco is amazing I have it for over two years. It holds charge for a long time and it started up my car and many other cars of friends right away without any issues.
Thanks for the feedback.
I bought a Noco after your last video and it's saved me a couple times. No regrets.
