I made this recipe for dinner this evening. Thank you, Laura! It was delicious, however, to anyone making this at home, make a note to yourself if printing the recipe from the website, that the website recipe does NOT mention the mushrooms, wine or sour cream. I went shopping for the ingredients using the website recipe & consequently made the recipe without the wine & mushrooms. I did happen to have reduced fat sour cream in my fridge so I used that. It was delicious without the mushrooms & wine. I'm confident that most people will love this! My younger son is the pickiest eater & ate his entire bowl. My older son went back for a 2nd bowl. Enjoy!
I have been following my Laura since I have been with my husband 13/14 years ago. She has taught me all I know and am still learning from her! I adore her! Thank you Laura for everything you do! You’re my girl xoxo ❤️❤️🥰
Laura. The queen. I love all your videos. Every time I watch you I smile. You make everything look so easy I wish I could cook like you. Just fabulous!! Rock on
I Love watching Her prepare this all time ultimate dinner favorite. It's easier to make than I thought. I have the confidence to cook this now. Thank you Laura.
I have been watching your recipes for years and they don't disappoint! I made this when you first put the video up and it was a hit with my family and I've just made it again, sooo delicious! 😋❤
Laura, I have been watching you since 2011. You have taught me so much! I have recipe from my Hungarian grandmother for Chicken Paprikash and I allllllways wondered why she said to brown the chicken thigh before adding the onion when most recipes say start with onion and oil then add chicken. I’ve always just went with it but your explanation for why YOU start with your meats makes perfect sense. 12 years of watching your videos and I am still learning! Thank you so much.
Laura ive been following u and doing your recipes for years now ! Thank you for your effort and honesty ur recipes are 100% original and accurate 🙏🏼much love to u from kuwait
For using sliced beef, just go the Asian meat marination route: slice beef fairly thinly and add baking soda (1% of your meat's weight) to it to tenderize, then when you sauté the meat, it will brown very beautifully because of baking soda effect.
It's a fantastic idea to add the onions after, just in case you need to drain some of the fat liquid from the meat. I will do that from now on. Thank you. I will make the beef stroganoff during the week. Delicious!
another great one I can't wait to try Lots of love for your channel and I was in the hospital for a long tire recently ( 5. moths) and was so missing these videos and suddenly there you were on baby flay!!!! made my day. you were great
Ooooooo beef stroganoff is one of my favourites! Yours looks even more delicious than the one I make. I’m definitely switching over to your recipe! Yummmm!!! Thank you again, my dear Laura!
Hi Laura!!!I have made so many different recipes of Beef stroganoff-I do like using chicken breast as well, every recipe is just meh-always with cans of soup, just not a fan-so I am so excited to make this, one pot wonders are so yummy, comforting, warm, perfect day for it here-thank you Laura
I really like how you have a recipe that is both reasonable cooking time (not too long), and you don't use so many pots. I always joked my dislike of Rachael Ray was it was 30 minute meals but 45 minutes of cleaning.
A perfect "fall" dish, (although N.Y. is leaning summer this week)😮. I love how you marry all the flavors then hit it, with the piece de resistance, sour cream! I think its time to bring out the "bib" as I am drooling over the final "presentation". Once again Laura, you knocked it out of the park! Can't wait till Feb. 27th for your new cookbook to arrive❤.
I feel the exact same way about browning the beef alone before adding other ingredients! I typically use 80/20, so there’s a lot of fat to drain off, and I try to remove all of it. Therefore, I always brown the beef before I add anything else in to minimize flavor loss. Thanks for yet another fabulous recipe!
Hi Laura, I just made this yesterday and it’s really good! It didn’t take much time to make and doing it all in one pot was great. I don’t usually do much cooking with ground beef but this turned out really tasty!!!! Also tasty is your chili recipe which a made a few weeks ago! So delish!!!
I try to engage a lot here. There’s been a drop in views for her channel and that makes me sad. Let’s boost her engagement folks, keep commenting, sharing, liking, etc. Where did the 3.8M of you guys go?
I'll tell you.. THE ECONOMY. I've been watching Laura since 15' and I was broke. I learned how to do a lot with next to nothing, fed my large family and ate good. She stopped cooking cheep and cheerful home foods & started making Soba noodle soups & indian foods. I don't have money to buy that stuff nor do I have the desire to learn to cook international cuisines. I always watched this channel for delicious, economical Italian meals & it's not that anymore. It's international and expensive.. Let's face it, people are REALLY STRUGGLING right now working 2-3 jobs trying to pay they're bills & everyone is feeling it
I think the recipes have been downward-sloping for a while . The French onion pasta is a new trend but definitely disgusting. I think following trends instead of providing quality recipes is the problem. Hope it comes back to the previous glory!
I think ppl are seeing dishes like this and see they’re Americanized versions of it - that’s not a bad thing. I’m a racial minority American and I love these one pot/homey/casserole type stuff, totally! But there are times when I’m also trying to find authentic versions of cuisines that were simplified for the old ruling American class to be acceptable. I just watched a similar version of this beef stroganoff but the chef prefaced the video saying it was gonna be a “elevated version of Midwest mom stroganoff.” And that’s good to hear for someone who is foodie but sometimes just wants a good ole hot dish.
I made it, but I didn't have the mustard 😮, and it came out absolutely delicious. Only one pot to clean is the best part as well as how quickly it can be put together. I'll be making it again for sure. My husband had 4 helpings 🐷
So, I made this for dinner tonight. I had ground turkey in the house along with homemade chicken broth, but otherwise it’s all your recipe. It was delicious, just as you promised!
This is GREAT!! Made it twice in the last week. But, the recipe is missing the mushrooms and wine ingredients. Also, I love ALL your one pot wonders under 60 minutes! You are WONDERFUL and love watching you in the kitchen. 😊
Laura what a wonderful lovely looking dish that is one of my all time favorite and luscious flavors you got my mouth watering can't wait to make this recipe
I made beef stroganoff last week. Almost the exact recipe.... I love it. As a child it was my favorite dish and my mom used to make it for my birthdays. My mom loved that since it is so simple and I love it. Thanx Laura. We love you too.
Definitely agree on holding off on O&M especially on 80/20 but like you said for a quick dish like that I don’t have a prob with 85/15 or 90/10 saves time….No drain! I have done venison burger!!
If people don't want to add wine (or dont have it on hand as in my case often), add a little water with some white/red wine vinegar or lemon juice to it. Just a tsp to like a 1/4 cup water.. but I don't know I usually don't measure but vinegar can be strong so careful with it.
I've had good success using chuck roast and of course you have to let it cook till it's tender but it makes a delicious stroganoff. Now you've made me hungry for this lol.
Laura, This recipe is so delish! Thank you for sharing it with us. One rwcommendation is you may want to go back and edit your printed version to include mushrooms. I would be so disappointed to shop for the ingredients listed, just to get ready toake it, and realize one of the main ingredients was left out of the recipe. 😉👍
Hi Laura! I’ve been following you for years and because of you, I’ve become the great cook in the family. Question, how many ounces of mushrooms are in the dish? I didn’t see it in the written recipe?
I'd never had beef stroganoff before and when you posted this I thought it looked/sounded good. I got some unforeseen guests for dinner and this recipe made enough to feed everyone so I tried it out. IT WAS A SUPER-DUPER HIT!!! One guest asked for the recipe and the other (one of my best friends) said she'd just come over and eat it whenever I make it, LMAO!! I swear by L.I.T.K. I've made so many of your recipes that I don't even have to guess who to go to when I decided to try something new.
I am not really a fan of mushrooms but I like beef stroganoff. I viewed the ingredient list and was excited that the recipe didn't have any... Looks like it does but was forgotten on the list of ingredients.
I've been following Laura's channel for a long time. She makes wonderful food.
Same! She’s my go to always!❤
The absolute best!
I love Laura's summer recipes, but something about the colder weather welcoming warm, comforting foods is just a home-run for me!!

Just made this for myself. Turned out amazingly. Thanks for the recipe, Laura.

Thank you Laura for sharing your wonderful recipes with us. It looks delicious. Have a blessed and beautiful day.
Just made this recipe, so yummy! And without a huge amount of dairy like other Stroganoff recipes.
You are so fun: wonderful personality, and good cooking advice. You deserve your popularity.
Thanks!

I am having trouble locating you on telegram😢
Definitely will try this. I used steak for it last time and mine came out tough, too.

right! one time I seasoned my meat really well and was disappointed when I lost it when I drained the fat!
@@DanielaSotoC I learned that lesson the same way.

So, I made this for dinner tonight. I had ground turkey in the house along with homemade chicken broth, but otherwise it’s all your recipe. It was delicious, just as you promised!
Love it!! Just made this dish and it was a beautiful thing. One pot on a busy week night was perfect
Hi I been cooking my stroganoff with ckicken for a while now so good I never looked back I love it ❤️♥️🧸🎃
I ALWAYS brown my ground beef before onions/sofrito and don't understand when people do it the other way around, so I'm with you, Laura 😋
This is KINDA like her homemade hamburger helper, which I made once a week for like 2 months. AMAZING!
Oh happy day… a new Laura recipe
Definitely a recipe I want to try and make 😊
I made beef stroganoff last week. Almost the exact recipe.... I love it. As a child it was my favorite dish and my mom used to make it for my birthdays. My mom loved that since it is so simple and I love it. Thanx Laura. We love you too.
I need that green vessel!

You are the best
Just love your cooking. 😊😅
Thank you.
Joe too. 😅😊

I never like to cut the richness when it comes to Beef Stroganoff! It’s the one dish where I like all the richness.
Your right about using steak. Last time I made stroganoff it was tough. Will use ground beef next time. Thanks Laura.
Thank you, Laura and Happy New Year!😊
Looks awesome and easy. Can't wait to try it.
Yes I'm gonna make this. I've never seen it with ground beef
If people don't want to add wine (or dont have it on hand as in my case often), add a little water with some white/red wine vinegar or lemon juice to it. Just a tsp to like a 1/4 cup water.. but I don't know I usually don't measure but vinegar can be strong so careful with it.
A spectacular dish Laura!😁😁👌👌and I will be making this! ❤️❤️😁😁
I made this! It was delish! And so easy!!!

Absolutely LOVE beef Stroganoff. Grew up on it. Funny enough I too, add mustard!!
Hello. You make beautiful videos. It's always interesting to watch you!🎉🎉🎉
I have to try this. It looks amazing and delicious.
Where can I get/buy Garlic and Herb Seasoning? Or do you have a recipe for it?
I've had good success using chuck roast and of course you have to let it cook till it's tender but it makes a delicious stroganoff. Now you've made me hungry for this lol.
Yummmmm looks delicious ❤❤❤❤❤ will try soon

Same here.
Yep,,, I will be making this dish for my Family This week👩🍳😋💗🦩💗🦩💗🦩
I also use venison. Always tender. No worries ever there with tough meat.
Yum! Making this tonight!
I can't wait to try this 🤩
I am not really a fan of mushrooms but I like beef stroganoff. I viewed the ingredient list and was excited that the recipe didn't have any... Looks like it does but was forgotten on the list of ingredients.
You missed it at 3:10 when she added the onion and mushrooms.
Fantastic Fall Recipe
Looks delicious..❤
On the printable recipe you left out the mushrooms. I added a TBL each beef bouillon and sherry.
I have been hungry for Stroganoff 😋👩🍳It’s Thyme to make this Dish😜👩🍳💗🦩
Looks delicious!
