I have a 81 750F. They are cold blooded mothers. Then it is best to give them a good 4 or 5 minute warm up before revving it. Gotta love Honda engines in anything. I have an 81 naked GL1100 too. Beautiful retro lines on both.
Hi Bry, if you check back over this CB750 project playlist I bought the bike in a really sorry state, clearly hadn't been run for decades. Having given it a good check over, replacing fluids, fettling the carbs etc, I realised there should be no reason it wouldn't start, so decided to have a crack at starting it. Once i'd finished tinkering this CB750 turned out to run brilliantly, despite not having had a rebuild. Got lucky with a healthy engine there. :)
Bonjour je pense que vous l'avez noyé au départ , beau bruit et si vous passez en France vous verrez que même après des mois sans tourner mon k2 démarre au premier coup de kick ..En 1971 77 j'ai roulé140 000kms avec mon k2..
Hi George, sorry for the late reply, missed your comment for some reason. If I recall, I think it was fuel blockage from the tank. I think the tank breather was blocked which was annoying. Hope your US import CB750 turns out to be a gem like this one did :)
It's alive !!
I have a set of the crossover style pipes also. They really help them breathe.
Keep after her, she'll go.
Good luck, Rick
Cheers! A set of 4 into 4 would be my preferred option, but the cost is just too prohibitive.

Cheers Jack, I agree, Honda engines are generally brilliant, can't fault them at all!
Keep plodding on with it, and once again thanks for the bars!
Cheers Bob, no problem, hope they finish off your chopper nicely!
Great video. I love your laid back style. I’m just about to reassemble my K2 and this has given me inspiration. Thanks agai
Cheers Chris! Glad you enjoyed the video. Best of luck with your recommissioning, hope the K2 treats you well :)

Was this after a rebuild or just a start up after purchase ?

Bonjour Marc, votre CB750 K2 sonne comme un vélo très fiable. J'espère que celui-ci sera le même.

Dont do this shit inside. There is a lot of carbon monoxide when there is no cat
Keep plodding mate.
These old girls always take some coaksing.
Just get rid of those stupid pipes.
Haha agreed! Cheers mate
