@@burnersforhim I was talking about pve. Wishender is anti barrier and ikelos with voltshot is overload. If you’re running starfire protocol then you also have unstop covered.
The Igneous Hammer inclusion did make me think that I hope they buff 120 HCs for PvE, since I have a roll with Subsistence & One for All and is good, like yeah there are better options like 140s and SMGs, but as a 120 HC, it feels very good compared to other 120s.
I personally would love to see a 120 HC buff in PVE. I have Something New a stasis 120 with wellspring and headstone that I love messing around with but don’t really use in anything other than low to mid tier content
For PvE, Seventh Seraph Officer's Revolver with Reconstruction and something like Harmony or Vorpal, combined with Lucky Pants, turns into precision boss dps coming out of a primary weapon. Literally used this to kill Calus on day 1 of Lightfall on Legendary. Very underrated option, has become my go-to kinetic hand cannon.
With Trust back in the game, I figured I'd give you a heads up and say that it's a 180 that can have triple tap and vorpal for your Lucky Pants build in case you want an option in the energy slot
@@nerfycat8429 It's certainly an option for solar hunter lucky pants builds, but solar hunter is kinda swimming in options for good dps. Also reconstruction is just on a whole other level when it comes to throwing lead and stacking Lucky Pants.
Currently one of the best traces is hollowed denial, repuslor brace is really nice for infinite overshield especially with the artifact perks and since your running double special with trace rifles, lead from gold is a great perk since heavy will be dropping everywhere
I'm amazed Liminal Vigil didn't make the top PvP sidearm slot. That thing can roll TTT + RF for insane range, stability, and accuracy on every burst. Aggressive sidearms are also great hipfire spam weapons, and Liminal Vigil takes great advantage of its origin trait.
The reason being Eric, or opinion, doesn’t help you reach a conclusion and just ask more questions and single person can be decisive a committee is decidedly, not decisive. So as I said, inclusive instead of conclusive
I'm already happy to see Chroma Rush still being rated so highly. I love it and still use it when I need a kinetic auto since I don't have a Rufu's Fury yet.
Glaives have been awesome for endgame content for me, especially with this season's unstop artifact mod. the ecliptic dipstaff is super solid and I'm glad they're getting more light than last dlc!
I'd be interested to see whether Zephyr, Guillotine, or a class sword does best. Cold Steel is a heavily underrated perk, at least when it consistently activates. For peak unga bunga mode with Glaives, pick Unrelenting for constant healing while stabbing. Back to your roots, grab Enigma
The hunter class sword, while anime as hell, is not very good. i think the Titan swords are the best class sword options. Zephyr with Cold Steel absolutely fucks though, I’m shocked it wasn’t mentioned and was about to come down here to start squealing about it.
For Bows in the kinetic slot, Whispering slab is the only one with demolitionist and therefore an essential grab from Gunsmith/Xur when it comes around. I would go as far to say that, at least for a warlock main, demolitionist on any weapon makes that weapon better than one of the same type without it in most situations.
So good to hear someone say it. Feel and perk combos are far more important then running the absolute god roll. People get so hung up on that shit they miss out on some genuine fun in destiny.
same, nation of beasts with zen moment and explosive payload in underrated, but that's in PVP. In PVE< it really only has outlaw or ambitious assassin with explosive payload, which while good, isn't voltshot.
10:15 For Kinetic slot bow I'm surprised Fel Taradiddle (from The Wellspring) wasn't mentioned. It can roll with Archer's Tempo + Explosive Head and it's craftable, you only need 3 deepsights to get the pattern and the rotation is only 4 days so you'll usually have 2 days a week to farm. Edit: Just saw the energy bow section, Datto why do you hate bows? For Void, Under Your Skin (from season 16) is a great choice (and what I would consider the best in slot). Archer's Tempo + Explosive Head and it can use volatile too for even more explosions. For arc I'd either say Wolftone Draw (S15) or Tripwire Canary (S19), Tripwire has slightly better perks but Wolftone is a better archetype and still has good perks so it's my pick. Unfortunately there's a real lack of legendary solar bows, but the best is Strident Whistle which drops from vanguard activities. It can roll Archer's Tempo in the third column and in the fourth column you can either go Explosive Head or Incandescent. I'm still hunting for one so I can't really say which is better but I'd go Incandescent personally.
its because they all just feel the same and you're not looking for a specific bow, just A bow with some decent perks, and most bows have basically the same perks.
@@sunshot_addict true, but still, like for champs? 💩💩💩 often times I find just using funnelweb is more offensively beneficial than just slowloading a mag to be able to kill a single red bar to get 1/10 of my nade. I'd only ever use it on a volatile hunter with rep brace
I know that snipers aren't insane for PVE right now, but if they get any kind of buff, look out for an Irukanji, the gunsmith stasis sniper, it has a great perk set up and has veist stinger meaning you can just keep shooting. Another thing, controller users, for when the inevitable SMG nerf/auto buff, craft a perputalis and look for a good coronach for PVP, they roll with zen moment and either target lock or golden tricorn, the changes to zen moment make it an instant keep. This is my future proofing suggestions
What are your thoughts on Perpetualis vs. Rufus for both PVE and PVP scenarios? (assuming both are crafted with their best perks) I for some reason found that although Rufus has an amazing fire rate and magazine, it just kills things in PVE much slower than Perpetualis does. So I wasn't sure if others noticed that as well, or if it was just me.
heros burden for void smgs has a great perk pool - feeding frenzy and destabilizing gets the job done you've also got the new arc special gl from the war table this season - can't remember it's name but it can roll voltshot which is pretty neat
@@sayarimamani3605 That would be cool, but for some reason I don't actually like the GoS Reckless Oracle. It doesn't feel good to me. The sound doesn't pack enough punch.
pizzicato deserves a shout out for being one of the only smgs with osmosis, which is a super helpful perk for certain builds. I’m still running an osmosis one on my solar titan build.
Problem with osmosis is unless you *really* need that energy weapon your better off with litterly any energy SMG, and with the state of kinetic special weapons and witherhord being witherhord I'd say there's almost no reason to even use a kinetic primary unless your on strand or stasis for your build
Nice list. I love my Autoloading/lead from gold Deafening Whisper. And unpopular option my incandescent/tunnel vision Jurassic Green is just below my BXR for use
I have wanted a video like this for so, so, so long as someone getting into D2 after many many years and not knowing anything. Have loved your content since D1, thank you so much as always Datto.
I totally agree that wave frame GLs beat out breach loading, but the Prodigal Return deserves a shoutout for having Voltshot. Being able to proc jolt on every shot could be very useful for ability builds that require Ionic Traces.
With the void perk cost reduction from the artifact I've been running a bunch of void guns. The Hero's Burden clears funnelweb as a void PVE sub for me. My go to one has repulsor brace / feeding frenzy and especially running Gyrfalcon on void hunter its a machine. Infinite orb generation and overshield makes it so I can run 20 recov and not notice in the slightest. The updated one as of this week also can drop destabilizing rounds which can give infinite volatile rounds without the void subclass for ad clear. Fugue-55 can roll with some great perks for a void sniper in both PVP and PVE. I currently run it for gaze on Nezerac with Vorpal / lead from gold. Basso Ostinato with destabilizing rounds is a nice pick for void shotty in PVE. The rapid fire frame to clear ads quick or proc a volatile explosion on yellow bars.
Datto, there is one energy slot bow you forgot, wolf tone draw with dragonfly and shoot to loot was a grand master monster when it came out. I still break it out sometimes and those who used it know.
The Dimensional Hypotrochoid is my pick for a heavy grenade launcher simply because it’s a compressed wave frame that can roll with chain reaction. Basically, infinite explosions when you kill enemies!
I feel like this video is still nice to reference as many of these weapon are obtainable still or give a general idea of what to look for in future weapons.
Glacioclasm with Slideshot / Reservoir Burst is actually a really solid option for add-clear. It serves the same purpose as Forbearance, but it's void and rolls with dawning surprise, which works similar to what unrelenting does for the healing effect. Also, it's design looks *chef's kiss*, and since fashion is the ultimate endgame, it is top tier IMO when it comes to add-clearing special weapons
As a certified Trace Rifle enjoyer, I would recommend Rectraced Path over Acacia's, at least for low - mid tier content. While they both can get incandescent, only Retraced can get subsistence, which is a better reload perk for add clear compared to rewind rounds or reconstruction. However I would recommend Acacia's for higher end content. The better damage perk options and reload options that don't require kills help it keep its potency even when adds are a bit more resilient.
Felt this was also a good mention: Aisha’s Embrace if you have vorpal on it can contest with vouchsafe very well. Other very good legendaries that weren’t mentioned here are lingering dread, irukandji, no reprieve, Father’s sins, aisha’s embrace(adept), Sleepless, royal entry There are many other good ones for sure but these are some of my favorites that make their way into my day one loadouts/gm loadouts. Hope this helps peeps out :)
Been playing a lot with Solar Grenades this season, and Judgment of Kelgorath with Demo + Incandescent has absolutely been a workhorse for me. I'd love to get a Void glaive with Demo + Destabilizing.
As I new players I absolutely Lo be buying a game, putting in hours enjoying the game, then getting to the point where I’m trying to optimize my loudouts and finding out I need to go spend more money just to have a chance at getting what are considered the best weapons. I love how Destiny monetizes old content like that. Best part of the game. 10/10
Yeah getting into D2 now can make you feel like you need to spend a lot of money to buy every expansion for 2-3 weapons. As a veteran player, I just bought the new expansions on launch day so instead of paying 100-200 dollars straight away, i just paid 30-70 per year. On a similar note, why the fuck did lightfall cost so god damn much? It's literally a filler expansion wrapped in shit with a half-assed day one experience bundled in the mix. At least the raid is "fun"...
Extraordinary rendition with zen and frenzy for pvp is a personal favorite. Also wolftone with shoot to loot and dragonfly makes it my favorite legendary energy bow
my underrated weapon list Sidearms: Buzzard with kinetic tremors, Farewell with frenzy, Seventh Seraph SI with dragonfly or surrounded Handcannon: timed payload Cantata-57 (for champion stuns with season mods) Scoutrifle: Perses-D with shoot to loot + explosive payload Autorifles: Seventh Seraph Carbine with targetlock for pvp, Krait with headstone, The Number with surplus + damage perk
Thanks for making this video! I personally am no longer at a point, where I get much value out of something like this, but I have found myself typing out endless lists of weapons for people who wondered about what to use on Reddit, so it's nice to have something to refer them to, instead of taking such a long time.
I loved my commemoration with the roll you mentioned it wasn’t until doing legend Avalon mission where I realised that sometimes you still have to reload and my adept corrective measure with Demo+ AJ just made it so much easier as you have the same buff don’t need to reload and have grenade energy
Other Half with repulsor brace on Strand titan is pretty fun this season. Generate an orb on kill, pick it up and now you have: volatile rounds/ woven mail/ overshield/ healing (if you use the boot mods). With T10 resil, you basically explode mobs of enemies while being virtually un-killable. And with Bricks from Beyond, you're creating more sword ammo at the same time.
Good job chat! As an auto rifle fan (but smg main) seeing Last Breath and Chroma Rush in the top spots is awesome. They are truly great. I need to spend more time with Rufus's Fury but I have not been using strand weapons since kinetic weapons are just straight up stronger. As for PvP Lodbrok-C, Ammit AR2, and the other listed for PvE are all good. But in PvP the fact there is a 360 and a 450 rpm that shines is great. In PvE the faster RPMs do better.
It was briefly mentioned, but I like Bottom Dollar with dragonfly in harder content. It hits just hard enough over other handcannons to let it 1-shot certain enemies, and can be very good for add clear as a workhorse weapon. With no handcannon artifact perks in season 20 I don't think I'll be using it for GMs this time around, but I can't think of anything I would rather use in the 120 archetype for PvE.
I have to give a shoutout to my main man, the Palmyra-D (and by extension all Hakke frame rocket launchers and other rockets with tracking). Can get Explosive Light or Lasting Impression, and it's craftable, but more importantly, built-in tracking Having tracking on a rocket launcher gives me so much peace of mind that I can't use dumb firing launchers anymore. Even if the boss is the size of a cement mixer, they always find a way to make the rocket fly under their armpit and explode at the back of the arena.
My underrated gems: Tarnation (Craftable Arc Heavy GL) - Enh. Clown Cartridge, Enh. Chain Reaction. Sometimes it's fun to piss away all of your heavy ammo in seconds clearing waves upon waves of enemies. Hero of Ages - (GoA Arc Sword) - Chain Reaction. Exact same reason as above, but with a Vortex Frame, so spin-to-win. Terminal Velocity Kinetic SMG - Not the best SMG by any means... but during Season of the Lost, trying to solo master activities with 3 different shields and Match Game got frustrating AF on one of the maps. I kept trying to brute force it and got my arse handed to me. I had a genius idea and scoured my vault for ANY weapon with Osmosis. I had one with Overflow/Osmosis, and, honestly if it ever goes back to trying to solo some sort of Match Game 3 shields bullshit I'll be bringing it with me. Might not BE good, but it FEELS great to shoot and helped me out tons.
For a kinetic fusion my favorite rn is Aurvandil FR6. Mines rolled with reconstruction, chill clip. Great for stunning champions with chill clip and reconstruction makes it have its entire reserve in the mag
Ok, on the first weapons I have got to say I am amazed that Krait didn't poll higher, shocked! It's an amazing rapid fire frame that rolls with Subsistance and numerous damage perks just like Chroma Rush and Rufus's Fury but Stasis. On top of that it has Veist Stinger, which further extends out it's sustained fire alongside Subsistence to sometimes ridiculous levels. Kinda shocked it's this criminally underrated is all, more people should look into getting it! It's very fun!
Everyone's going to have these weapons obviously, that they think should be higher, but that's how it is. Syncopation is another one I love that didn't even feature, though I can understand how for many it'll be all but replaced by Disparity. I still love both of these weapons for PVE though myself, both are incredible with headstone and a reload perk (stats for all has great synergy with headstone).
Krait just straight up has better stats than chroma rush and has better perks as well. But its stasis, so it deals 10% less damage on default than chroma rush, which makes the gun kinda useless
For PvP bows I'm using the new Stasis Bow. It's quickly become my favorite due to the playmaking potential with it. Get 2 kills without dying and BOOM. Instant freezing bow with no need to backpedal your way out of a sticky situation. That being said it is a little less on damage than popular PvP bows so bring some heavy damage to go along with it. I'd recommend either a 120 hand cannon or a glaive. The new seasonal glaive is what I'm using and recommend on a personal level.
Now I can dismantle all the weapons not listed in this video! Thank you Datto 🙏

I have Something New a stasis 120 with wellspring and headstone that I love messing around with but don’t really use in anything other than low to mid tier content
sub/one for all igneous was my primary choice during day 1 vow of the disciple. Awesome gun.
Been really enjoying chain of command for grenade builds. Osmosis is a super slept on perk when combined with demolitionist
Yeah the chain of command is just a beautiful weapon tbh it deserves more recognition
@@nerfycat8429 Kinetics do more damage and can work with any subclass. tough to give that up.
@@nerfycat8429 It's certainly an option for solar hunter lucky pants builds, but solar hunter is kinda swimming in options for good dps. Also reconstruction is just on a whole other level when it comes to throwing lead and stacking Lucky Pants.
The Aztecross weapon
@@presidentducklingst run seventh seraph with Erianas vow if on solar. I’d be running solar anyways for radiants boost
I just came back after being overseas unable to play very much. Thank you so much for this Datto. This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for
Currently one of the best traces is hollowed denial, repuslor brace is really nice for infinite overshield especially with the artifact perks and since your running double special with trace rifles, lead from gold is a great perk since heavy will be dropping everywhere
Thank for helping clear some things out of my vault yet again. Got about 60 spots back by being brutally honest with my hoarding
Yeah, the word should’ve been inclusive not conclusive
The reason being Eric, or opinion, doesn’t help you reach a conclusion and just ask more questions and single person can be decisive a committee is decidedly, not decisive. So as I said, inclusive instead of conclusive
So let’s just got to the chase breakneck hands-down is the best gun ever
I'm already happy to see Chroma Rush still being rated so highly. I love it and still use it when I need a kinetic auto since I don't have a Rufu's Fury yet.
Glaives have been awesome for endgame content for me, especially with this season's unstop artifact mod. the ecliptic dipstaff is super solid and I'm glad they're getting more light than last dlc!
The UA-cam meta of having an ad before an ad before the warm-up intro before the real intro before the actual video starts breaks my heart
Enigma agreed. Feels as the best glaive to me, nezarics whisper a good second but at a distance
The hunter class sword, while anime as hell, is not very good. i think the Titan swords are the best class sword options. Zephyr with Cold Steel absolutely fucks though, I’m shocked it wasn’t mentioned and was about to come down here to start squealing about it.
Crownsplitter just about does more sustained dps than a guillotine and thats without using the heavy slam.
Spin to win looks cooler without a doubt
@@elizabethhicks4181Hunter sword is cracked if you know the jumping trick to swing TWICE AS FAST
Not necessarily a good gun, but one i like a lot- Shadow Price, id love to see a revamped version with voltshot sometime soon
So good to hear someone say it. Feel and perk combos are far more important then running the absolute god roll. People get so hung up on that shit they miss out on some genuine fun in destiny.
Im extremely surprised that nation of beasts was put over posterity, im loving frenzy/voltshot on posterity atm
same, nation of beasts with zen moment and explosive payload in underrated, but that's in PVP. In PVE< it really only has outlaw or ambitious assassin with explosive payload, which while good, isn't voltshot.
@@Valorant_Simplified outlaw/dragonfly curated roll >
180s are not a popular archetype, I hate them because I think they just feel awful. posterity perks are great, frame kills it
This is the best Destiny content of any kind, on any topic, on UA-cam, as a whole, period
I was disappointed for no bow love too. I've been leveling an Under Your Skin and loving it.
its because they all just feel the same and you're not looking for a specific bow, just A bow with some decent perks, and most bows have basically the same perks.
If you want a bow fanatic go to aztecross

(assuming both are crafted with their best perks)
I for some reason found that although Rufus has an amazing fire rate and magazine, it just kills things in PVE much slower than Perpetualis does. So I wasn't sure if others noticed that as well, or if it was just me.
Its so weird realizing how many years I've watched your stuff since the D1 Xur roll days
I genuinely want to see datto does double special.
'put on your own music' oh my god can more people make long-form content like this please? Love that idea so much.
heros burden for void smgs has a great perk pool - feeding frenzy and destabilizing gets the job done
you've also got the new arc special gl from the war table this season - can't remember it's name but it can roll voltshot which is pretty neat
I have that exact roll on heros burden. Its a beast in pve
@@moran93oscar28 didn't manage to get feeding frenzy this time around, but destabilizing on it's own makes it a beast
Really appreciate this! Vault space is very limited atm. I just hate tossing a weapon ill need next season!. Thanks again for your suggestions.
I really hope we get a rapid fire void auto with destabilizing rounds soon. That's my dream weapon
Maybe next season, after they remove the volatile seasonal mod.
Once GoS gets its loot refresh the void auto from there might get that since its a raid drop.

pizzicato deserves a shout out for being one of the only smgs with osmosis, which is a super helpful perk for certain builds.
@@flamingscar5263 witherhoard is cheeks
Recurrent impact from risen is one of my favorite lmgs in the game. Enhanced sub with either enhanced headstone or one for all is absolutely nuts
Love your intro, I’d describe it as frank, for lack of a better word, delivered in just the right quantity to be humorous and “grabbing”
Opinion formed- I mean wow Datto great video
Time to redo this video
I love that he put his bot walking run of the raid in the background
Forb just better, and Im saying this as a glacio enjoyer.
Literally went looking for this two days ago and couldn't find anything so THANK YOU
As a certified Trace Rifle enjoyer, I would recommend Rectraced Path over Acacia's, at least for low - mid tier content.
Other very good legendaries that weren’t mentioned here are lingering dread, irukandji, no reprieve,
Father’s sins, aisha’s embrace(adept), Sleepless, royal entry
There are many other good ones for sure but these are some of my favorites that make their way into my day one loadouts/gm loadouts. Hope this helps peeps out :)
Been playing a lot with Solar Grenades this season, and Judgment of Kelgorath with Demo + Incandescent has absolutely been a workhorse for me. I'd love to get a Void glaive with Demo + Destabilizing.
The hero's burden with destabilizing rounds is good. Love it
I really enjoy using the adept version of Forgiveness. It's great in close range in PvP. I also quite like Tears Of Contrition in either mode.
Also wolftone with shoot to loot and dragonfly makes it my favorite legendary energy bow
my underrated weapon list
Sidearms: Buzzard with kinetic tremors, Farewell with frenzy, Seventh Seraph SI with dragonfly or surrounded
Handcannon: timed payload Cantata-57 (for champion stuns with season mods)
Scoutrifle: Perses-D with shoot to loot + explosive payload
Autorifles: Seventh Seraph Carbine with targetlock for pvp, Krait with headstone, The Number with surplus + damage perk
Retrofit is honestly my fav right now, enhanced field prep and one for all with over 650 bullets in reserve is so much fun
I'm glad I wasn't alone when I dug out my Gnawing Hunger with Zen Moment and Rampage on it. That thing puts in work!
Thanks for making this video! I personally am no longer at a point, where I get much value out of something like this, but I have found myself typing out endless lists of weapons for people who wondered about what to use on Reddit, so it's nice to have something to refer them to, instead of taking such a long time.
I am super surprised the datto community is sleeping on Pointed Inquiry. It's my scout of choice in all GMs with genesis+adaptive munitions.
it's crazy when anti barrier scout is on the artifact

Thank you! I've been waiting so long for an updated void auto rifle, someone finally recognizes it!
I cracked up when he said "Glaives are pretty much straight unga bunga mode."
Thanks for helping me to start out my day with a good laugh.
I watch this video and think I'm gonna follow what datto said. Knowing full well I'm still gonna main Ace of Spades for everything 😂
Crisis inverted is quite literally the best hand cannon in the game right now and I don't even know how to process that you missed it entirely.
for PVP
The Caretaker sword deserves some props for being the only sword so far to have a subclass-related perk like Incandescent. It’s filthy in PvE
I have to give a shoutout to my main man, the Palmyra-D (and by extension all Hakke frame rocket launchers and other rockets with tracking).
Can get Explosive Light or Lasting Impression, and it's craftable, but more importantly, built-in tracking
Having tracking on a rocket launcher gives me so much peace of mind that I can't use dumb firing launchers anymore. Even if the boss is the size of a cement mixer, they always find a way to make the rocket fly under their armpit and explode at the back of the arena.
Happy to see Ignition Code. My Spiked/Blinding Slideshot + Vorpal roll is arguably my favorite legendary gun ever
Aurvandl with reconstruction and chill clip is amazing
As a new player that has not gotten an exotic yet, I appreciate this!
My underrated gems:
Tarnation (Craftable Arc Heavy GL) - Enh.
The curated Chattering Bone with high impact reserves + kill clip is still my go-to kinetic pulse.
For a kinetic fusion my favorite rn is Aurvandil FR6. Mines rolled with reconstruction, chill clip. Great for stunning champions with chill clip and reconstruction makes it have its entire reserve in the mag
problem is it's a high impact and riptide exists
The fact that out of bounds didn’t get in for pve is crazy. Demo/golden tricorn or junkie is so much better then most subs listed
People are sleeping on the new IB arc auto rifle…that thing with volt shot tears through some enemies
One of my favorite feeling legendary weapons of all time is escape velocity with elemental capacitor running solar. Idk why but I just love it.
I actually fully agree with everything said in this video, very well thought out and put together
Don't even care if this isn't the most "exciting" piece content I needed this!!
