I don't know if my game is glitched or something but I don't own the Beyond light expansion and I beat the campaign and still got No Time to Explain
So I'm not sure if it was free to play back then cuz I did buy the lightfall and final shape expansions but I'm sure that I didn't get Beyond light even though I really wanted to
@@Xenolith6_Ytdepending on when you played it they had made the expansions up to lightfall free to play for a time being which allowed people who had never seen or used the weapons from those dlcs have the ability to use them

Easy to get Sunshot
Start new character, go to tower immediately. Go to Ikora. Learn a subclass and pick the solar subclass for your guardian. Instantly get Sunshot in less than 10 minutes with zero effort
Repeat again, but pick the void class to get Graviton Lance
Damn it’s that easy?? 😂 you know for destiny being so anti player (according to so many ppl idk) that’s actually a super nice move. Pretty much giving u decent tools necessary to take on hard content
@@lemons2513 Yeah, I think it was introduced with the Lightfall expansion, giving newer players a chance to jump right in and older players a quick way to level an alt.
Sunshot (Solar) is also one of the best exotics for the solar subclass.
Graviton Lance (Void) is a mainstay for many void guardians. It does everything. It vaporizes redbars, creating a chain reaction of explosive void fragments that can swiftly clear a room. With its catalyst, you get Vorpal Weapon so you can chonk away at Champions as well. The artifact perk this season also gives Pulse Rifles anti-barrier.

A lot of guns left off this list, but graviton lance should've been included with sunshot and trinity ghoul for ad clear exotics. Does the same job as the other two but gives a void option.
This, thiiiiiis Graviton lance is a monster and its void completing the Light subclass trinity.
@@XBullitt16XSomeone recently told me that Graviton Lance isńt the best 4 ad clear, especially during close combat and said I shd switch to Sunset. However, I love this gun and it has got me out of so many difficult situations. I have catalyst too and I think it’s so powerful!

Sunshot is also available from the solar quest you get from Ikora, very easy to do
Ok. I havent played since year 1 of Destiny 2. Came back for the Final Shape. 2011 power now. And this is by far the best video of how he explains where to get and how to craft and actually shows the spot. Not just abreviating perks and saying the name of places, like we are all suppose to know; which a lot of creators have been doing. Absolute Banger of a video. S++++ Tier. Sub to this dude.

I have an empty vessel with disorienting, auto loading holster, and disruption break. It pairs really well with Outbreak Perfected or Thorn. It also drops from strike playlists so is available to anyone.
If you’re a new light, the solar kit from ikora (I believe) gives you a sunshot. Every time I used it I got sunshot.
I would recommend eager edge swords to people but considering it’s strictly for movement it’s quite a silly placement imo. Been in too many raid groups that kill people because of this perk. If your a noob or have not played the game much wait a bit until you get a better feel for the controls. Get weapons that will actually help you beat things first then worry about how fast your doing it lmao.
oh you mean crotas end? the only place eager edge is useful in a raid where you aren’t speed running?

As a new light, eager edge is amazing for many reasons like just getting places faster, saving myself after messing up a jump puzzle and it's just insane in pvp
Listen bro I just want that Stupid glaive from Salvation’s Edge but nobody wants to teach the raid. Like it’s impossible to find someone. I’m so tired of The Enigma. Some generic ahh glaive. I want something in the void slot that’s meaningful.

It is worth getting the dares swords for the hot swap origin trait, which maxes the handling when you take any damage
I think hotswap is fantastic in PvP. But in PvE or with a Sword it's less valuable.
Hotswap with the BxR is fantastic for winning duals when you are on your off foot
One other Rocket Launcher to watch out for is Crux Termination IV. It's a world drop so you're not farming this weapon actively, but it can roll Clown Cartridge / Bipod for similsr rocket dumping to Hothead
I'm a new light and the Crux is my main DPS weapon, I rolled it with reconstruction and demo, it's pretty nice tbh
Thanks for the video! I keep watching your content despite going through a "D2 boredom phase". I am still at step 5 of the Final Shape campaign. I am a solo occasional player with a busy life. Small exposures to the game is all I can bare so far (PVP matches mostly). 🙂 Keep the videos coming!

Don't know how many people know this but from onslaught you can get the seasonal armour and seasonal weapons to drop. Don't know if this is for the 10 wave mode but definitely for a 50 wave mode so free to play players can still get seasonal weapons outside of the season pass

11:03 Just wanna point out that if you’re using extended mag you get 75 ammo and then 150 with max reconstruction. You could possibly use appended with backup mag for 75 ammo too but yeah

A good alternative for the summoner if you don't wanna farm trials is gnawing hunger (I believe that's right spelling in english, sorry if it isn't), you can get this from focusing gambit engrams, and yes, it's gambit, but hey, if you're new or returning you probably aren't tired of it yet, so go give it a try, I've been using it since it was introduced years ago and still holds up, you just need zen moment and it'll do the trick, but if you can get zen + rampage it's incredible
you can actually get sunshot from the solar new light kits when you start the game. if you have a free character slot you can get it in about an hour.
Disorienting and chill clip is the combo I didn’t know I needed
the Leviathan bow is one of my fav exotics it hits so hard but is so underrated
I have a 5/5 wardens law and can solo any content outside of raid encounters on hunter. You pretty much win the game if you have it with lucky pants

You can't get any of the rocket sidearms since they're all behind a paywall. Indebted Kindness is behind warlord's ruin, The Call you can get through the ghost, but he doesn't actually unlock as a vendor unless you get the dlc, and Aberrant Action isn't free since you can't focus it through failsafe without the season pass.
7:41 Make sure to reset your Vanguard rank at least once, because it can be focused with three options in both column 3 and 4
Note, it uses a complex floor and function, which basically translates to "every rank reset adds 25% chance to get an extra column* with it virtually maxing out at rank 4.
21:13 Still Hunt is bonkers, but it really bugs me that it completely ruins my experience with other exotics that have similar mechanics because they lose their buffs not only when you die but even if you stow them away. Still Hunt even keeps its buff when you die which should be the standard.
I'm surprised he didn't mention Elsie's rifle as a replacement for no time to explain. I get it's in the energy slot, but it's pretty much the same gun model that no time was based on. Since it was the original stranger's rifle in D1.
as a veteran player (over 2k hours) this is the best list I've seen for new / returning players. Well done here mate

Since you mentioned a lot of raid stuff and none of SE one's:
Nullify has Firefly/Heal-clip + incandescent combo and deal insane dmg to basically everything, i crafted 3 of them.
Summum Bonum best dps sword(remember: you can't pair Lament with wolfpack Ergo sum).
Critical Anomaly best weapon for any activity with champion's w current artifact, it's sniper for barrier's, has chillclip(pair with explosive payload and you will also slow everything around champ) for other two and can deal insane dmg. Also with one prismatic fragment it can refill own magazine to full at third shot.
Non-Denouement is basically Ghoul but legendary.
Immenense probably best submachine gun atm.
Also basic trait(Collective Purpose) awesome for any group PvE activity, especially in raids.
And Chaos Reshaped one of the best and easiest to use dmg bust perk.
I would add in the BXR-55 Battler aka the Halo Battle Rifle. It's a drop from doing the Dares of Eternity.
4:37 you can obtain Sunhsot also through the light starter Kits by Ikora on the solar starter Kit
Physic, not Psychic. Also, Mobility doesn't increase Sprint Speed (in your explanation of Rose), but Lightweight does increase your sprint speed by 7.5%.

reminder: Apex is technically F2P because you can do an OOB in the dreaming city to get to one of the secret chests that drop it. I forgot how to do the oob, but tutorials are probably out there.

What I've gathered from this video is Chill Clip being somewhat overloaded with its ability to deal with every champion bar breaking the barrier champ's shield.
There was a time when Beyond Light, Shadow Keep, & Witch Queen were free to download permanently. Not sure about consoles, but PC f2p players should have access to more loot pools for the better weapons. Commemoration on Gryfalcons is a fun pair I've enjoyed using.
16:41 they changed how chill clip works so rapid fire frames need 3 shots to freeze whilst other weapons need 2 shots... Aurvandil FR6 is another great chill clip weapon you can focus at banshee when it's available and it is able to get Reconstruction Chill clip
11:23 Hammerhead should be mentioned
Nice f2p option, also retrofit isn't on here, and that's very strong f2p as well

After the nerf and its inability to work with pack hunter from Ergo Sum, the Lament is currently the worst heavy sword dps option, trailing far behind normal swords with pack hunter or a caster frame perfect fifth Ergo Sum. This sword loses in dps to a special weapon. The build around it is fun, but It's not great for dps anymore.

For new players and returning players in my clan the first thing I told them to get was an Ammit. It's at banshee, craftable and super easy to get early on. It's not the best thing in the game but it's a great starter gun thatll carry you through most content, pretty decent in pvp too. Hell I have every pattern in the game and I still use it from time to time.
Ammit still gives me flashbacks to the craftening

Sun shot is so goddamn busted it’s one of the first exotics I got and I almost IMMEDIATELY completed an advanced nightfall back in Witch Queen. Favorite exotic in the game 100%

For weapon 10 you can also go for hammerhead from onslaught which roles either equivalent perks
Note for sun shot u can get it by collecting the solar new light kit from ikora
A good alternative to 4th horseman is a shotty with cascade point
Technically we saw two rocket sidearms at the same time, one being exotic from the same dungeon.

I got sunshot in my first day playing destiny 2 years ago 😭 I thought it was like an exotic they would just give you
2 points to make about the pve exotic weapons mentioned in the video. Lament is no longer the DPS king it used to be and it's healing is also significantly less. The lament now deals worse damage than even the worst viable legendary swords and is also outdamaged by heartshadow. The sleeper stimulant is also not a very good weapon. For a simple damage option you are better using microcosm Tlord or in the best case, Levi's breath. Linears are currently in such a terrible spot compared to rockets and gls since their DPS is so limited by fire rate. Sleeper is also one of the worst linears with many options being craftable which deal significantly better damage. Other than these the list is quite good and I would encourage new players to listen to what's being said
sleeper even gets beaten by euphony without using any external buffs either
my mans not mentioning Le monarque, Riskrunner and Graviton Lance at the same time as sunshot and trinity ghoul is f tier priorities (honorable mentions to tikkus divination and cloudstrike)
Riskrunner is ass now sorry, all the new legendary volt shot options make it a waste of an exotic slot.
Confused why you wouldn’t recommend Elsie’s as a replacement for no time considering they’re both aggressive frames and same with recommending hammerhead

Fellow guardians. I’m a returning d1 vet that gave up on d2 when curse of osiris dropped. Bit overwhelming with all the content in the game. Any tips for what missions/activities i should prioritise?
Hey man, generally speaking, the current expansion and season is the best, since it gives you a bunch of guaranteed stuff. The current seasonal activity, data breach, can give up to 10 drops per run when done correctly.

Summoner isn’t f2p as trials is locked behind the dlc every time a new one releases. Felt that should be noted.
The dreaming city sniper is rapid fire and solar and can get some good rolls for PvE
This video got me to realize I’ve had quicksilver storm glued on for over a year 50k kills yikes
crux termination is an incredible rocket with alloy casing clown cartridge and explosive light, and aurvandil ive found to be a better riptide as its only a 2 burst freeze and reconstruction can give it 9 chillclip shots in a mag
chill clip change was walked back when the final shape came out so the faster you can apply it the better it is. Riptide is better and thats followed by the grenade launcher from the Duality dungeon.

Do you have a video on how to properly set up your stats I always end up loosing too much recovery or resilience when trying to play with them. I'm a returning player and I haven't played since shadowkeep
The only stat that really matters is resilience. Make sure this is at 100. Sure, it’s nice to have your discipline and class stat as high as possible too, but them not being at 100 is far less consequential than resilience. You can use fragments and armour mods to boost ability cool down and compensate for lower other stats. If you’re not doing master content or GMs, I really wouldn’t be too worried about super juiced stats. Just make sure that resi is at 100. Use a mod on your ghost to guarantee that every drop of armour has at least 10 points in resi.
Sunshot is also the last 150 archetype hand cannon in the game!!!
my man confused the slammer for another falling guillotine version. but the slammer comes from nightfalls, and is also rather easily accessible. easier than the brave guillotine imo
No he isn't confused. He has the right perk (cold steel can't roll on fg) and seasonal icon (world drop icon vs brave icon).
I have a RL which has ENVIOUS ASSASIN + RECONSTRUCTION, making it 4 loaded rockets
Haven't played D2 for years. I'm genuinely pissed off the Matador and Fellwinter's still dominate the crucible, number 1 and 2 reasons for controllers getting launched across the room 😭
Also you can buy Sleeper Simulant from the kiosk now?? Man all these new players will have no clue how much of a bitch that was to get (for a mostly solo player)...
It´s funny that you didn´t let people (meaning the new players) to know that Eager Edge perk alone doesn´t let you Shatter Skate --> you need to learn how to do that, the sword doesn´t do it for you haha 😀 (love your content!)

@@Laci-ec1vb it's not, it synergises with void debuffs and gives you infinite health and ammo as long as you get kills in midair. It basically specialises in ad clear, so while some guns do the ad clear job better, it's not the worst by far.

The first weapon on your list is falsely advertised. You show off ONLY gameplay with super skating. This isn’t how the sword functions intentionally. If this list is for new players or returning…. They will see your video and think that’s just how it works.

20:50 This is false information, star-eater scales does not buff still hunt damage, it consider as a weapon damage, not a super damage. That’s why weapon surges do buff still hunt, the nighthawk is just a unique interaction with it, that’s all (exactly like malfeasance and witherhoard, and no witherhoard doesn’t make things taken like a lot of people thought, already tried taken spec before the removal, it didn’t work). For star-eater + still hunt doesn’t work proof, Ehroar made a video about it
Have you checked if freezing barrier champs actually stops them from putting up barrier? I haven't gotten it to work since the start of season of the wish
