Well done for having a go
Thanks for this. I have recently tried CVR and used their paintgear shop. I having the same problem that cutting compound doesn’t remove excess paint. Resorted to wet sanding 1500 then 2000 and this did remove the solvent paint.
Love you vids and keep up the great content.
I have watched a lot of CVR and looks good what he does. I’m gonna do my Audi front bumper and wing to improve it. Practice makes perfect (or close to it )
Looks great fantastic way of saving money and time
Definitely mate, bit more practice and it will look spot on.
Great. Your have shown us another alterative. for us home mechanic's. Cheers.
Brilliant channel, always enjoy the videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you mate
I was straight onto link for a look I’ve now subscribed to his channel 😂
Absolutely brilliant 😂
imagine every man and his dog will be painting their cars with their fingers. watch this space hahah brilliant!
I’ve used Chipex products for small chips / scratches before, and their process is similar. It gives a decent finish and certainly doesn’t draw the eye any more.
Great video and always wondered if the CVR repair was legit. In fairness CVR the first to admit its not perfect, it takes your eye away though. Could you mix clear with the base colour? Also could you do a bit of practice and do a follow up once you get your hand in?
The secret must be using natural touch, and then you can feel the scratches better and using the correct cutting compound, but yes, practice makes perfect excellent video
I had a go the other day with a metallic blue. Paint it then bake it for a couple of hours using the heat lamps then wet sand 1500 up finish off compound polish near perfect…
Do you think that would work with where a car has been keyed?
Fantastic Steve. Big tam's a mobile smart repairs he charges a minimum of £300 .Big tam fell out with you showing showing a quick way to repair.😅😅😅
What a difference for just a touch up!
100% really easy and really cheap
9:53 That's what She said .... 😅
Is he waiting for the paint to fully dry?
👍.
Thanks for watching
You are meant to sand it back before polishing
Practice on mine ??
isn't funny we use the same finger for everything 🤣👍🚗
