Sounds like a skill issue on the customer's attempt... I plan on learning PDR to save costs. Buy some scrap panels and go crazy lol Outstanding job & tool setup though.

Do not like the title. You want to encourage people to try, not blanket negative statements. Any person can screw stuff up. Usually when starting they will, but that's how you learn. Were you perfect with your first repair? Odds are no. Some people will have a natural aptitude and be fine and get it pretty close, some will make it a lot worse, most will be somewhere in between. One of the biggest issues we face is doing it right to start. If your afraid to start because it might not come out right.....that's not a great posture for a mentor. Maybe you show later, but some will never even get into the video with the title. Maybe a title of "Why you need to start carefully".....just a suggestion, but you at least understand and position yourself as a person willing to teach. But critisizim aside, great work on the actual video. Not over the top long and great camera angles and explanations.
If you want to learn how to do dents, then you can buy a junk panel to practice on. I cannot imagine a single circumstance where i would tell someone to learn or practice on their own car. You will not "DIY" it, and you should not consider the first few months of PDR as "attempting a repair" but practicing. Again, there is no reason to try this on your own car, because unless you are highly skilled and experienced, no amount of trial and error is going to fix the mistakes (which are much more difficult to correct) you will innevitably make while trying. I say this as someone doing PDR 40 hours a week wholesale, and having worked on 1000 cars, i wouldnt even touch my own car until last month. Your first mistake in a dent will make every step more difficult, and learning anything more from the dent more difficult. You will not repair your first dent. Its unlikely youll even repair your 10th.

So the title of this video is based on this particular scenario/conversation from our previous customer and with his words, not mine with him actually wanting me to help post up to help educate people. If that conversation never happened per my customer then this video (or title) may have not been what it is. So I'm in hopes when you read my reply back to you that you have a better understanding in completion with the full picture on why the title is what it is. Also no matter what the title is...honestly well lets face it...someone's gonna be pissed about something at face value without possibly understanding the reasoning and context on social media platforms. If/when I post up on a more educational or mentor type video the tone will for sure reflect as anyone that really knows me knows that I really do my best to come from a good place in everything I do and 99 percent of the time my head spins on how and why things are posted up regarding particular scenarios as I am freshly starting to post videos on this platform. I know not every single time Im going to make everyone excited about everything on content and I think that may impossible. You should for sure buy all the tools and lighting and go thru tutorial type videos and practice practice and practice if you find it beneficial to have pdr in your journey or fix you own stuff if you're going to be on metal a lot. The first time I did dent work was applied body filler, sanded and painted. The car looks back like new.
