How do you zoom in Sir, on the Orlan 30.

    How'd you build the spreadsheet?

well.. I have some understanding of both artillery, trigononetry and computers I guess :)
by the way it is in the mod folder of D30 A mod..

I used to be FDC. Just curious. Haven't been deep in it for a while now. I'm assuming you started with standard data and did some triangle math on top of that?
I noticed in your other videos that you don't get site to crest while laying the gun. Or is that not something you do on that side of the iron curtain?

@@mr.stotruppen8724 The range and azimuth is calculated from polar data using simple high school trigonometry, theoretically not a big deal making it work in the chart however is a challenge. The firing solution is calculated with a simple ballistic equation not range table data correction.
Concerning the other issue. I myself had the temtation to work towards a fully functional artillery simulator but if you simulate everything from magnetic declination, to meteo data and crest computation...what not...... it just stops being a game

Fair. Rough facsimiles get it close enough from the gunner's perspective I suppose.
I can't imagine doing manual computations in ARMA would be anything but a clunky waste of mouse clicks anyway. Trying to build a firing chart with mouse and keyboard would be a nightmare.

This was good, but translation should be added
