As a new old member to the community I rely almost exclusively on your recommendations for mods especially your focus on "Beginners" or "Before you Start" insight...greatly appreciated. Considering you mentioned DCS a few times in this video I will assume you also have a handful if not all of the DCS modules, campaigns, mods, etc... + having a HOTAS/RUDDER set-up with possible MFD's, etc for use with DCS and ARMA... Based on those assumptions, and considering I purchased numerous Modules, etc from ED/DCS & purchased ARMA 3, Official DLC's, Creator DLCs and began downloading mods prior to ever starting in either...in fact, it has been more than 1.5 years since I first purchased my starting point for each of these....Even so, I also still find myself increasingly frustrated with my inability to either grasp or to figure out how to map/set-up my HOTAS/Rudder set-up....I did not know ARMA had full-fidelity (FF) aircraft...you mentioned with several of the recommendations in this video that the mods come with detailed documentation/User manuals....I assume each has a section dedicated to mapping of HOTAS/Rudders or is there a Universal Program you use for ARMA and another you use for DCS....I also assume you have numerous mappings for different aircraft especially the FF aircraft...you alluded to a couple of the mods being as close to DCS level of FF as will access in ARMA....I will also assume the FF mods aligned and or were created based on DCS code or structure...if that is so, does that mean setting/mapping the HOTAS/Rudder for the Hatchet H-60 Pack for example could be used if transitioned to DCS (when the aircraft or frames are similar or the same)...OR do you have completely separate mapping/settings stored??? If so, and if there are enough viewers to warrant, would you consider providing a 20,000 foot view or overview of how you map your HOTAS with a new module especially if FF...and if DCS has the more robust module are your settings the same whether for ARMA or DCS...if have separate mappings do you use a 3rd party app or program like JoyStick Pro/Joy Pro, or one of the other programs...most are open sourced. I hope I made sense. I'm just an old dog trying to learn new tricks so to speak...Great to know and be pointed in the right direction but would also appreciate generic insight to what you do, what others may do/use and if any tips/tricks especially transitioning between the two sims, ARMA and DCS...Regardless if are able to do or not I do appreciate your guidance. My biggest disappointment when it comes to Arma3 is that, its old. Not to many new players come to it. My absolute dream is to see Mil-Sim groups operating with 100plus players operating in tandem with each other against the AI and have the servers be able to handle complex situations that have not just players flying multiple aircraft in flights, but multiple platoons coordinating amongst themselves, rescues and medevacs happening, supply and logistics going on. Stuff that just doesnt happen in Arma3 cause it is hard to facilitate that.
I literally bought the game yesterday and watched so many guides that I guess I didn’t hear when they said it’s not a PVP game like Vietcong HOW I WAS HOPING, but i’ve played some campaigns and I really like it… IM RIGHT WITH YOU THO on how I wish this game had a PVP or (team vs team) Game Mode. Not just fight enemy bots……….
The RKSL is exactly what the Project Wingman ARMA unit needs for a light, cheap, and punchy, reduced RCS aircraft. I can already see this as a non Federation/Cascadian design more willing to be exported to smaller countries or *us mercenaries* for our use. Plus it’s waifu compatible lol
The hatchet is something special, I had to learn how to fly it when I joined a semi-milsim unit, flying in Arma 3 in general is pretty god damn fun with all those awesome mods.
Man it really is. It can be simple, or it can be super complex. It all depends on the players expectations and I think that flexibility is what makes Arma 3 immortal.
I tried the RKSL after your other video featuring it and it's pretty fun. These other mods are great too but I have to admit, I haven't tried any of the interactable cockpits. I've tried DCS and it's way too complex for my simple civilian noggin. I wish there was a good balance between arcade and simulation startups because I feel like manually starting up all the different aspects of your aircraft would make you more connected with and care for your aircraft more than if you just press a button and the aircraft starts by itself. Either way it's amazing that they can even get that to work in Arma 3 and I wish all of the modders the best
A video like this deserve the Kamov Ka-32 by Door, perfect model and wunderfull sound. There is also a beautiful Ka-52M model on the workshop by rosich. Give them a try 😁

Maybe we’ll have something close in Arma 4! These high fidelity mods are amazing though, considering what they accomplish in an engine that really wasn’t designed for it!
It depends on the mod, honestly. The Super Hornet and A-10C have working MFDs but other do not :/ There is an interactive F-16 in development that will have it though! ;)
A suberp list as always! Now the only problem is I just have to decide which one to dl first 😀 BTW, have you come across a functional IL-76 mod anywhere? I've only found the old one by unpredictable and unfortunately that one is broken as hell. I really hope someone may yet give the old workhorse a new life in Arma 3.

Yes, all modded planes showcased in my videos are available to base game owners. No DLC required. Only time it would require Jets DLC is if it was a mod for those specific aircraft.

My milsim group have the TF373 MH-47G as our heavy helicotper and we love it could not fault it as it does what it needs to do and more

Crazy to see Parals A-10 come back. I remember downloading it in 2013 or 2014 when he first released the interactive cockpit.
It got so, so much better. There is a recent error he’s working through so I couldn’t get cockpit footage but when he fixes it it is amazing!

for infantry 100% Arma is the best, but to tell the truth i am yet to see anything to match DCS for flight
Of course, that’s because DCS is built from the ground up to be the best flight sim out there. Arma 3 gives the 80% solution to land, sea, and air.
