I was at Leeds festival and saw Emo, I could barely hear him over some hipsters complaining to each other that he was unfunny. He heard them whining and said "Are you the cool kids I've been hearing so much about?". It was amusing.
He’s not funny,I hadn’t heard of him till literally the other week, had to endure him during a weird al yankovic concert recently,I nearly laughed twice, rest of the time I sat bored,so much so by time weird al came on I wasn’t in the best of mood and ruined the concert too

I still remember the line that hooked me: "People often come up to me on the street, concerned that I will...reproduce." Still one of the funniest people I've ever seen.

This is Emo -even with the glasses. This is Emo, post-(bad) marriage with Judy Tenuta (the thought alone will have you rollin'). No disorder, folks; just perfect, classic comedic timing.
I think it's still effective, but with a tinge of creepiness taking over the aura of innocence. But even with the added appearance of creepiness, it still works.
I saw him a while back at FYF and he absolutely killed it. Ill admit that maybe it seems odd in this video, but in that little tent he put on a show good enough to match any of his old sets. Not entirely sure what changed from there to here @.@ he looked younger at FYF for some reason.
@@SilasMortimer he's always had creepiness in his act, even back in the early 80s he did pedophilia and necrophilia jokes. what i think changes or limits his act here is the extremely truncated set. only 3 minutes for a set is ridiculous, and its really hard for any comic to get any real momentum going in such a short time.
@HartsChannel He sounds the same from when I saw him on TV and radio in the mid-80s! I always remember him saying "my proctologist likes Philip Glass." I've never been able to hear about Philip Glass without remembering that line.
Emo was in an episode of the Weird Al Show, where he voiced the Slawmeister in a Fatman sketch. He also did the voice of Shannon the bully from Home Movies (made by the same guy who did Metalocalypse) and is the guy who hosts the Graybles on Adventure Time.
